Pablo’s POV

 

 

So you’re saying that, Your mum is against your relationship with Anna?” Daniel asked.

 

“Yeah” I replied sadly.

 

“Have you heard Anna’s side of the story yet?” He asked calculatingly.

 

“No. I’m planning not to stress her with this”.

 

“I advise you to tell her everything she need to know. Don’t let her hear it from somewhere else. Besides you guys are about to settle down.” He advised.

 

“You have a point there. But I’m afraid she will freak out if she learns that, my mom was the cause of the rift in her family”.

 

“If she truly love you, she will understand and forget the past”. Dan replied.

 

“Will you be okay if I send my men to do some investigations about this matter?” He added.

 

“I think I will have to find out from Paula first. Since this matter concern the both of us.” I replied checking my time.

 

“Okay…you can go for the bitches. I’m going for Paula” I said tapping his shoulder.

 

 

“Sure, Thank God is Friday…I will be at ‘EXCLUSIVE’ the club soon. Can’t wait to see my ladies”. He replied grinning widely.

 

“I pray you fall in love one day. ”

 

“No thanks. I don’t need love. Those who fall in love tend to do crazy things. They’re all crazy including you. How can you go about driving a lady aimlessly at night? Who does that? Is it not madness?” He said lazily with a nose scrunched up in disgust.

 

“You wouldn’t understand until you …”

 

“Yes. I won’t understand because I’m not crazy and will never be. Now go pick her up quickly before she lose the rest of her sanity for worrying about you ”

 

I shook my head slightly,” sometimes I wonder if you’re a girl or boy. You talk too much and you sound annoying some of the Queen bitches in highschool.”

 

I walked hurriedly out of his study room before he starts his large books at me.

 

The moment I closed the door behind me, I heard a book hit the door.

 

‘Thank God’ I thought.

 

I entered my car and zoomed off to Amy’s place.

 

I inserted the Bluetooth earbuds in my ear as I dial the chauffer’s number. I need to tell him to park the Car at Paula’s house since I will be picking her up.

 

“Can you please leave the car at Paula’s house? And don’t forget to give her the keys. I have already send you her address. You can go home from then” I spoke into the phone.

 

“Okay sir” he replied in a gloomy voice.

 

What happened to his voice?

 

“I something wrong with your voice?” I asked out of concern.

 

 

“Just a little cold”. He replied in yet another set of voice.

 

What’s happening to this old dude? I thought.

 

“Okay, make sure you treat it early”. I suggested and end the call.

 

 

Paula’s POV

 

 

Why don’t we stop this silly chat. Let’s go Cook” I started pulling her towards the kitchen.

 

She stopped and brought her fingers under my eyes.

 

“What?” I raised a brow.

 

I just had my nails polished. And I’ve worked on my skin so much that, I can’t get it ruined by the heat in the kitchen”. She replied and walked away from me.

 

“You speak as if we’re going to cook for a whole nation. You can sit and watch as I Cook.”

 

“No. You come with me”. She said and entwined our hands as we came out of her apartment to her parking lot.

 

“Wait here!” She said and run back inside.

 

She came back wearing a lose white shirt dress which ends just below her butt and a shade with red heels. Her car key jingled in her hands as she walked towards me. She look so hot.

 

“Will you tell me where we are going?” I demanded.

 

She ignored and stared at me weirdly.

 

“I think you should change too”. She said.

 

I looked at my outfit and realized that i was still in my work attire.

 

I nodded and run back inside I turned and she was also following behind. I don’t even know where she is taking me to.

 

I will freshen up first.

 

I went to the bathroom and took a cold shower.

 

I came out and I went to her closet; Soo many clothes and all are new. Lucky her.

 

All the designers wants her in their new designs.

 

What do I even wear?

 

I picked up a similar shirt dress.

 

I put it back again. Too short.

 

I picked another dress… Too long. I drop it.

 

“If you keep doing that, we will never leave this house today.”

 

“You can help out”.

 

She came closer and took a leggings and crop top. “This will do”

 

“No I don’t like”.

 

She signed and brought out a rugged jeans carwash and a white Versace top.

 

“Not bad” .

 

I wore it and the carwash ended just below my knee. Just the way I like. I wore a white canvas and had my hair in a high pony.

 

“You look great!” Amy complemented.

 

“So as you.”

 

“Where are we going?” I asked.

 

“You will get to know if we get there. Now let’s go.” She said and hurried out.

 

I took my phone and followed her out.

 

“We will go with my car. As it is your driver is not around.” Amy said and walked towards her range Rover.

 

“Miss Devante”

 

I heard as I was about to get inside the car.

 

It was the Chauffeur.

 

” I will pick you up”

This is so irritating why did Pablo get me a driver. Can’t I drive myself? This man is so creepy.

I complained as I settled beside her in the car.

 

“He’s hot” she replied.

 

” I’m serious here, Amy”

 

“I’m also serious. Don’t deny it,” she replied as we move out of her driveway.

 

She put on the music and soon Greatest love of all by Whitney Houston started playing in the Car.

 

She started singing to the lyrics soon i also joined.

 

 

Soon we both were screaming our lungs out as we sing every lyric of the song.

She pulled in front of a 5star restaurant.

 

So this is where she brought me.

 

I learnt they serve the best meals but it is very expensive.

 

We entered and we were directed to a table for two.

 

Before I could sit, a champagne was brought. My favorite too.

 

.After that, they brought the side dishes.

 

I stared at Amy in Amazement.

 

“Don’t look at me like that. I have my own ways.You always seem to forget who I am.” She replied as they brought the main dish.

 

 

We suddenly heard a click.

 

 

We looked up and a lot of people were holding their phone towards us.

 

“Wow! Is really her!” One of them shouted.

 

They started coming closer for selfies.

 

Gosh! Can’t this folks see that she is eating? I thought rolling my eyes.

 

“Amy Rockxon you’re so cute.”

 

“Can you sing for us?”

 

“Can I have your autograph?” They started pulling out pens for her.

 

Amy just smiled all through silently. She collected the pen and started signing one after the other.

 

The restaurant is now crowded so much that I started suffocating.

I looked at her and pulled my tongue out childishly.

 

 

She smirked mischievously.

 

“Okay guys! That’s enough. I have an introduction to make. Have you all heard that the richest bachelor, Mr Pablo Dominguez, is engaged?’

 

“Yes! yes! Yes. We heard” they chorused.

 

“Will you like to know who he got engaged to?” Amy glanced at me and gave me a wink.

 

What is she up to?

 

“Yes we will like to know!” They all chanted.

 

“Ladies and gentlemen, she is no one else but the one sitting in front of me” she announced and soon all eyes were on me.

 

I will kill this Amy.

 

Before I knew it, the Paparazzi was in front of me with their Camera’s.

 

Oh no! I hate this.

 

I looked at Amy and she was having a victorious smile on her face. Where are the securities?

 

As if on cue, they arrived and started ordering the crowd out.

 

“Are you really Anna Paula? The one Mr Dominguez got engaged to recently?” Before. I could find my voice to reply, the security has already shoved them out. I took a deep breath as relief washed over me.

 

 

“Ma’am, we’re sorry for what happened. It won’t happen again” A man in a suit came to apologise.

 

She stood and picked up her phone and exited the restaurant. I run after her.

 

“Won’t you pay for the food?” I asked.

 

“Silly! I already did”. She replied and picked up a call.

 

I checked the time and it 5:30pm. Pablo will be around soon.

 

“Come on. Let’s go home”.I said after she was done with the call.

 

“I’m going to the club now.” She got inside the car.

 

“But how? People will recognize you.”

 

“They won’t”. She said and brought out a feathery mask from the car.

 

“When I wear it. No one will be able to identify me”.

 

After ten minutes, she pulled in front of a large building.

 

I looked at the bill board in front of the building and it was boldly written, ‘EXCLUSIVE PUP’
