I woke up the following day still thinking about Bryan. Where am I going to start from? How am I going to start explaining to him. I sighed and held my face. Well, I will just tell him and that’s all.
I got out of bed, brushed my teeth and had my bath. I styled my hair which made me look more stunning and more prettier.
I got into one of my prettiest clothes and these are for Bryan.
I left home as early as I could. I knew he leaves home early all the time.

Once I got to his house, I stood by the gate and watched all the happenings going on. I’ve really missed staying here. I’ve just stayed here for five days and it seems I have stayed there all my life.
Into seconds of standing there doing nothing, I walked into the mansion.
When I got to the sitting room,no one was there. It was so silent as a grave yard.
I walked to Pesh’s room and she was in playing with Little Gold. She didn’t take notice of my presence. I walked to Bryan’s room; the room we shared while I was staying here. He wasn’t around. Where could he be?.
As I stood there motionless, an idea occurred to me.
“I shouldn’t have forgotten this room”!
it was the secret room Pesh told me about.
I walked to the room and stood at the verandah. A smile curved my lips. The room was not locked! But this room had a pad password the last time I checked.
I pushed open the door silently as it revealed the whole room.
Everywhere was dark and I guess am used to it.
As I turned to my left direction, my eyes met with Bryan sitting at a corner in the room. He was sleeping on a carved wooden board which obviously meant that he was painting before he slept.
I Stood at a corner watching him, i really missed him a lot.
I smiled again. ‘My prince charming’.

“BRYAN?” I let out and quickly closed my mouth. I didn’t mean to call his name, I just wanted to continue watching him until he takes notice of me.
He turned to look at me.

I heard my name as I meditated and quickly turned to the direction I heard it from. I knew someone was in the room with me but I just couldn’t raise my head up. I had been thinking about Bella all day and it has made me sick.
I searched the room still sitting until my eyes came in contact of Bella’s.
I was shocked to my marrow. I stood up at that minute and walked to her.
She smiled at me and I smiled back.
I held her hand and removed the hair that covered her eye. She is just too beautiful.
“Bryan”. She said again and I kissed her which took her by surprise….
“Bella I really missed you. How have you been doing? Why did you leave me? What happened to you? I
came to your……” I kept straightening but she kissed me back which took me by surprise.
“Nothing Bryan……. It’s just that I have something to tell you…. it’s very urgent”.
He stopped and looked at me for a while.
“Ok go on. Tell me” He insisted still holding my hand.
I Exhaled hard and tears trickled down my cheeks.
“Bryan am pregnant!” I dropped the boombshell.
As soon as I said that, he became silent for a while.
“I know you are pregnant Bella and that doesn’t stop me from loving you. I have loved right from the first day I saw you Bella. I think this child is a blessing to our Union. I did this to you so I have to accept it. It’s my child”.
Bella fell her face and kept looking at floor as tears trickled down.
“Bella can you just look at me in the eye and tell me you love me. Tell me how you feel towards me”. I said to her but she kept mute.

“I…..I … Bryan please”. She added and held my hand.
“Just tell me you love me Bella. I just want you to say it to my face. I love you so much sweetheart”.
“I love you too Bryan”.
“Wow am so happy. ”
He dipped his hand into his trousers pocket and brought out a box. He knelt down before me and opened the box.
“Bella, my heart was a desert until you came and watered it with you love. Let’s spend the rest of our lives together pulling the weeds and enjoying the blossoms.
With that ring, I gave you my heart. I promised from that day forward, you would never walk alone; my heart would be your shelter, and my arms would be your home.
Every time I’m with you I cannot avoid feeling something very special in my heart. The only reason is I would love to be with you throughout the day and make everything possible to make you happy. Would you be my woman?” Bryan proposed.
I opened my mouth but it refused to get closed. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Did Bryan just proposed?.
“Bella please, will you marry me?”
I smiled towards him.
“I will Bryan. I will marry you”. Still in tears, he applied the ring on my hand and stood up.
We shared a kiss! A kiss that will forever linger in my heart all the rest of my life.
I believe in love. I believe in hard times and love winning. I believe marriage is hard. I believe people make mistakes. I believe people can want two things at once. I believe people are selfish and generous at the same time. I believe very few people want to hurt others. I believe that you can be surprised by life. I believe in happy endings.
Well, I and my prince charming lived happily ever after.
