I thought i hated dave until i saw him lying there Helplessly,i ran and held him in my arms shouting his name begging him not to leave me,telling him i have forgiven him.I was cring my heart out.People tryied to console me.They took dave in the car and asked me to go with them to the hospital.All that time stacy was no where to be found.I didnt understand why life was this unfair to me.Yes i was hurt seeing them together almost na.ked and that was not a good reason for God to take him away from me i wanted him alive i wanted him safe.

We got to the hospital and nurses were ready to take dave to the emergency room since the man had informed them.I followed them calling dave but one of them held me at the emergency door and told me i couldnt get inside i was left there with no shoulder to lean on i had left my bag on the road where the accident happened so i had no phone.I sat down on the corridor crying my self a river.I prayed asking God to give Dave a second chance.I stayed there for almost two hours when someone tapped my should.I looked around and saw Jay who stretched out his hand to help me up.I hugged him tightly wetting his shirt with my tears.He gave me a shoulder to cry on.He consoled me until i cooled down.

Jay:Sharon you need to relax for your childs sake

Me:how can i relax?How will i relax knowing Dave is in a bad condition i heard the nurse saying he aint sure he will wake up.

Jay:he will be fine i know your love for him will help him.He will fight this Sharon…..right now i need you to relax.

Me:I love him Jay

Jay:I know you do Sharon thats why you need to be strong for him dear.Have you told his mum yet?

Me:No i lost my phone,lemmi use yours to call her i have her number.

I took Jay’s phone and called mother i didnt want to tell her what happened on the phone i told her we needed to talk and it was urgent and she promised to come.Jay had already called Sharon and she was on her way. Me:for how long have i been sleeping?how is dave?

Cate:for almost 2 hours dear.Jay gave you some pills for you to relax we are worried about you sharon you are pregnant dear and you can easily loose the child if you continue this way your bp was very high

Me:and Dave how is he?

Cate: still in the emergency room.I need to take you home.You need to take a bath.

Me:are you serious right now?You want me to go home and leave dave here?He needs me right now Cate.(i got from bed walking to the door)

Cate:look at your cloths dear you have blood all over please come with me

Jay:(getting inside)let her be Cate she wont listen to you you are just pressuring her and its the last thing she needs right now

Me:how is he Jay?

Jay:he is fine sharon i told you he will fight.

They assured me everything was going to be fine i doubted Jay his voice was shaky.I wanted to see him and confirm that he was fine.I insisted until Cate took me.We stood there waiting for someone to come out of the room and fortunately one of the doctors came out.I rushed to him begging him to tell me how Dave was doing.He just looked at me shaked his head and told me he will be fine.Dave’s mum arrived and i rushed to hug her.She held me asking if everything was fine i didnt know how to tell her that her son was fighting for his life.I gathered the strength and Told her.She let out a loud scream and fainted she was rushed to a room and was attendend too and after 20minutes she had regained her consciousness.

I was praying really hard for Dave.The main doctor who was handing Dave came out we rushed To him with a lot of questions.

Me:doc how is he doing(crying)

Doc:i am sorry ladies the patient’s case is a serious one,he is in a comma,chances of him surviving are very low.I have done my part the only thing you can do right now is pray for a miracle to happen only a miracle can save him.

I felt energy draining from my whole body,my heart was bleeding I Was short of breath,the last thing i remember was Cate shoulting my name.
