*Stephanie’s POV*
Thursday. I alighted from mum’s car and saw students at the heading to the hall so I joined them.The principal was Giving an announcement to us,the end term graduation exams for my class was near and would begin soon so he urged us all to start burning our midnight candles.
Well, it wasn’t anything new to me but I hadn’t read in a while though so I decided to make up for that.
Hey Anna! I said as I saw Annabel. She hugged me,hi Stephanie. I missed you so how was school yesterday? She asked smiling
‘i wasn’t feeling too good so I didn’t come yesterday,what about your exams? How did it go?”
“It went well,I saw most of the questions and I did well in them”
“Aw! That’s my girl” I said giving her a high five.
She was surprised at my sudden behavior,I could read it from her face.
“I know you’re surprised but it’s nothing to worry about now. We’re friends aren’t we?”
“Sure thing Steph!” She hugged me again.
Jessica walked in,” Hey Annabel! How was your exams I hope you did good?! She asked ignoring my presence.
“It was good babe, I have something I want to tell you guys so let’s have lunch together!” Anna said
Jessica replied sarcastically,”I can’t have lunch with Stephanie so how about you join us?’
“C’mon Jes! Whatever problems you have with each other,you should make up for it okay?’ Annabel said pleadingly.
‘leave it Anna, I don’t want to have lunch with her either” I said
“Fine, I’ll tell you the news here. I got 3 dresses for us! It’s been ordered and will be getting to town this afternoon so I’ll be sending it over to your Houses. Blue for you Jessica,Red for Stephanie and neon for me” Annabel said excitedly.
“And who said Blue’s my favorite colour?” Jessica said rolling her eyes
I could see Annabel wanted to say something but I held her arm,a signal to cool off.
“But I really need you both to be there for me please!!” She begged “Fine,but tell your friend not to get in my way! I’m dangerous!” Annabel said looking evily at me.
“Did she just call me “your friend* oh God! I’ma slap this girl” I said in my mind. Well I’ll be calling your mom’s to ask for permission and anything else? No so we all good, tomorrow evening” Annabel said
“Let’s go girl,bye Jessie” Annabel said leaving with me.
I could see that “oh you got a new best friend now?” Look on Jessica’s face but I didn’t care.
*Stephanie’s POV*
Friday evening and we’re all dressed, I wore my red gown, it was short but let’s say it still looked decent. It was so fine! I curled my hair letting some strands fall and wore my red Bottoms. How could I forget the Versace watch mom got me at our shopping spree. I was all done and I looked heavenly! I didn’t need no other Compliments.
Just then Mom came into my room,” Oh my God! Who’s this? Where’s my Stephanie!” Mom said smiling
“Oh stop mom!” I said blushing already
You look magnificent my darling,she said to me.
Just then Annabel came in,”wow! You look hot! Adorable! Heavenly!” I told y’all! Heavenly was the word!
“You look awesome too Annabel,very pretty!” I said to her
Oh! Thanks Steph! Wow I love your red bottoms! So majestic!”
“Awww,thanks babe!” I said hugging her
“Well the chaffeur’s waiting outside and Jessie’s downstairs so let’s ride.
We all went downstairs together and I saw Jessie,well she looked adorable but I wasn’t talking to her first.
“You look amazing Steph!” She told me
Wait! Did I hear well?”
“You look beautiful too Jessica” I replied.
We got to the party dressed in red, blue and neon.
Annabel was in front while Jes and I followed suit.
We looked ravishing and stole the attention of course!
She exchanged pleasantries with some older women who happened to be her aunts.
She went along with us and introduced us to everyone and vice versa.
These are my best friends, Stephanie and Jessica.
