After some few days Liam was discharged from the hospital…..he cling unto me….his grin was so tight.
“Am not leaving you Liam” i whisper to him but he didn’t let me go.
We got into the car and met Leon he doesn’t look happy…that’s all I could read from his face. I know he hate
me now and am not trying to get back to him…. Am just here for Liam. The car started to move….
“Aaaahhhh……….” Sasha cried
“You’re making this hard for yourself…..you know!” The man said
“Fine……uhmmm” she cough out blood, “I’ll speak….. I’ll speak……”
The man smiled “good girl…..now let me set the camera” he said and called Noah.
Noah was seating at the front seat in the car.
“Hello?….., Good……no….no need for cameras….I’ll come myself” he ended the call.
“Sir I’ll drop at the junction….I have an emergency….” He said to Leon who only nodded.
“Uhmm Noah….I know you’re busy but can you help me contact Sasha….I haven’t seen her for days” I said and
he said
“I’ll do that”
Sasha glare at Noah.
“Start talking….I don’t have time to waste” he said
“She….she didn’t leave….. we….we took her” she said
“I knew it!!” Noah yelled “but Sasha please explain in details”
“We…..we drugged her and took her away from the hospital when she was unconscious……. we…..we told her the risk of being with the Mavis…..but she wanted to go back….but….we tie her down for days….. before she finally accept her fate”
“Who are the we?” Noah asked and Sasha shivered “it’s okay Sasha….tell me”
“Jolene’s uncle…….”
“Jolene’s uncle?, You mean gem?” He asked
“Yes…..he’s my uncle too”
“Gem doesn’t have an uncle….her father was an orphan…so was her mother

from!!!!” Noah yelled. Sasha was confused. “The uncle you’re talking about….
is this him?” Noah brought out a
picture and showed it to Sasha.
“How did you……”
“Answer me!!!!” Noah yelled
“Yes….he’s our uncle” she said and Noah froze. No this can’t be…….
Liam kept on showing me his room.
“Liam let’s take a walk am bored” i said and he nodded
“Sure mommy”
I saw most familiar maids……but none paid attention to me. They only bowed and greeted Liam.
“Are you all blind!!” He yelled. His voice so tiny but carries flame. “Greet my mother you useless maids”
“Liam…..that’s no way to talk to your elders…..” I yelled at him and he looked at me in surprise.
“M..mommy they….they…..” He turn and look at them “Apologise to my mother”
“We are sorry madam” they said
“Liam….where did you get this attitude from?” I asked looking shocked.
“Please don’t raise your voice at him….you have no right…..he’s right and we are wrong….master Liam is
always right” now I recognize her….she’s one of Grandma’s chief maids.
“No….that’s wrong….how could you teach him such thing?” I asked
“And who are you to make corrections??” She yelled.

mommy didn’t abandon me….stop it nanny you’re going make mommy hate me…..she said she won’t
leave me again!” Leon yelled….he’s now crying.
“She’s a liar master Liam……

see?” She said and Liam let go of my hands and glare at me.

” I tried to touch him but he moved backeds and hide at the back of his nanny.

“Liam let’s go inside” the nanny took Liam away. I wanted to go after her but….what right do I have. The
warmth I was feeling all melt away and I felt cold and alone.
Nanny out Liam down on his bed.
“Why did you take me away from mommy?
….., Am going back to her!” He said wiping his face but the nanny drag Liam back and slapped the little boy. He
fell on the floor crying with his red cheeks.
“You mommy is going to die… grandma will kill her…..
so you must tell her to leave…..do you want your
mommy to die?”

“Then tell her to go…..if she stay by yourside shell die…..
now if your dad asked who hit you…tell him it was
mommy!”

that’s a big fart lie!!!” Liam yelled.

“Then do as I say okay?, Trust nanny!”

I stood by the kitchen when my phone rang
“Hello boss (uncle)”
“Jolene how could you?”
“What’s going on?”
“Sasha….
she was what?…., Noah….,how bad is she……..
no……how dare him touch one if my own!!” I ended
the call.
I walk into his study and met Noah and Leon. Leon stood up as he saw me…..I walk up to him and landed a
punch on his cheek. Only his neck moved as blood roll down from his mouth.
“Gem!!!!” Noah yelled
“Don’t you ever lay your filthy hands on my people again….. it’s my innocent parents enough!!!, You still wish
to take Sasha away from me!!!!!, You know what……I regret ever coming back….ever seeing you
Leon…..yeah….I know my face disgust you now but guess what…..you ain’t any different……….., And as for you
Noah……I’ll get back to you……” I slam the door and left……………………
