“Shh.. .relax. We are going find her”, Julius encourages.

 

“What if something happens to her.. we can’t waste anymore time”

 

“Let me pack my things in the office and let’s go”,he arranged his files. I can’t believe this us happening to me.. I have to go back to Genovia. I really hate this. He held my wrists as we took the elevator upstairs. He actually had a private jet.

It’s two days and i haven’t seen her..I hope everything is fine. I pray she is fine.

 

Finally we reached the castle.It was almost evening. Julius was right behind me.

 

“Is his highness in?”,I asked one if the guards and he nodded.

 

“Where?”,Julius asked.

 

“In the throne room”,He answered and I quickly ran to the throne room as Julius followed me.

 

I heard giggles of my daughter when I entered the room. Ariel was running around as his dad followed him. For the first time, I felt excitment within. It was such a beautiful sight to see them together.

 

Nick has changed… Seven years and he looked much taller, muscular and very handsome.

 

“Mom…”,my daughter said making Nick froze. My lips were a bit parted seeing Nick staring at me.

 

She quickly ran to me but I moved backwards frowning.

 

“Don’t Ariel!!”,I scolded, “You stole my credit card, phone, and photos. You are so screwed and really grounded!!!! Now pack your stuffs and let’s go home”,I shouted. My daughter really drives me insane sometimes.

 

She stared at me and she poured her lips as she burst out crying. She covered her face with her hands.

 

“I think you were too hard on her”,Julius whispered behind me and I nodded staring at Nick..

 

I knelt down infront of her, “I’m really baby ..”.

 

She removed her hands and cried more as I pulled her close, “Mommy is so sorry. You just got me worried and I was miserable without seeing you”

 

“I’m sorry “,she sobbed. I wiped her tears kissing her forehead.

 

 

“Do you wanna stay here with your dad”,I asked and she nodded vigorously.

 

“You can stay as long as you want”,I said and i walked towards Nick..

 

I didnt know what to say so I started with a “hi”

 

“Hi”,he replied and we were lost in each other’s eyes. Why is my heart pounding louder.

 

“I just want to tell you that she is allergic to pineapples and blue berries”

 

He nodded, “Don’t you think we should talk”

 

“There is nothing to talk about. I moved on and you moved on too. So let’s keep it that way.. What matters is finding what’s best for our daughter”

 

He scoffed, “You are so unbelievable Diasy. Seven years, you left and your daughter came searching and you just came and say this to my face”

 

“What do you expect me to say. That your majesty, I’m sorry for not telling you I’m expecting your child. please forgive me. Wake up, I’m not that Diasy. I got pregnant because I wanted it… If you excuse me. I need to go”

 

I moved away from him grasping Julius hand.

 

“What’s was that in there?”,he asked.

 

“That’s Ariel’s dad. Prince Nicholas. ”

 

“Okay?”

 

“Thanks really for helping me out. I’m really grateful”

 

“Don’t worry about that. I have to go now. I have some business to sort out. ”

 

I nodded.

 

“Take care of yourself…”,he said.

 

“I will”,I stood there watching him leave. Ariel made me do this.. This place bring back memories.

 

I board a cab to a hotel.. I have to stay here for now but what if Nicholas refused to give me my daughter..

 

What if he sents me to court in custody of his daughter. No, He can’t do that…

 

I don’t want him to and besides he can because he was separated from my daughter for seven years.

 

I can’t out of the bathroom and quickly dressed. I need to see Rihanna. Her grandma died last two years and I need to see how she is fairing and about what’s going on.

 

I pressed the door bell patiently waiting for her.

 

“Daisy!!”,She hugged me, “Come on in”

 

I moved in looking around… she had changed the colours of her room and rearranged it… It’s so cool.

 

“What!! She came all the way from Oklahoma to Genovia.. That’s really great.”

 

“But not great. I met Nick again”

 

“And?”,she raised a brow making me roll my eyes.

 

“Well..we talked and that’s it”

 

“So …”

 

“I know what you are thinking…We never kissed or anything…I didn’t have time to talk to him”

 

“Hmm… I hope you two sort things out”

 

“Yes we will…”

Mom is really mad at me. I wish she could understand how I’m feeling. If she is mad about how much I spend on the credit card… She shouldn’t worry besides I made some money in my dad’s office.

 

No, no I did not only cleaned the workers shoes, I cleaned the corridor and got paid . . It’s more enough to replace the money back… I’m trying to be independent.

 

I’m a kid but I just can’t help it. I see kids as my age making money and becoming celebrities.. what’s shows that I can’t also become a celebrity.

 

Wait … a minute. I’m a princess of Genovia. That’s what my dad said. I’m a princess. I’m a princess but a crazy princess.

 

I never did anything good.. . All I did is cause trouble.

 

Today is a ball. I hate balls. I really do. I hate how people stare at my dad. I just hope mom comes today… and as a good girl I will sincerely apologise to her.

 

And i have to convinced her to make her stay with my dad. I went down wearing my gown. I stared at my dad who was buttoning up his shirt.

 

I stared at the mirror. I pulled a swivel chair infront of him and stood infront of

 

him having the same height as his.

 

I fixed his tie..

 

“You look beautiful”,he smiled at me.

 

“Thank you… You look so handsome”,my hands raked through his already combed hair.

 

“Ariel… what are you doing”,he asked.

 

I raked my hands in his hair making it rough..

 

“You look better this way.. .”,I said, “So am i your wife tonight or your daughter”

 

“You are my daughter. The ring is stored at the it’s rightful place”

 

“Okay”,..I said getting down from the chair.

 

“Are you ready”,I asked.

 

“Yes princess”,he turned kneeling putting a tiara on my head.

 

“Now you look like a princess”,He stated holding my habds as we moved downstairs.

 

Then I saw a staff man hitting his staff on the floor making everywhere quite. “His royal majesty, Prince Nicholas and Princess Ariel”,he shouted across the room as people murmured.

 

Gossips!!

 

My hand tightens around my dad as we moved downstairs. I smiled at me the whole. Being with my dad, makes me the happiest girl in the world.

 

The slow music starts and my dad and I danced together… I didn’t know how to dance bit it was all good.. I was better.

 

The music and everyone applaud for us.. I stood there with my dad as other princess greets us.

 

Then I saw a tall woman walking towards us.

 

“Good evening your majesty”,she said soft.

 

“Maggie”,he responded nodding, “This is my daughter, Princess Ariel”,my dad says.

 

She stared at me, glaring a boy and she quickly replaced it with a smile.

 

 

Such a hypocrite.

 

“Ariel.. enjoys Maggie’s company. I will be back in a moment”

 

“Okay dad”,I smiled while he left us.

 

The Maggie moved to my level, “Tell me who your mom is?”,she frowned.

 

“What will you gain if you know my mom, dear lady”, I replied.

 

“Such a hypocrite”,she said.

 

I laughed, “If you think, you will marry the Prince then you are damn wrong. Why do you think i came here, To stop pompous ladies like you to marry my dad”

 

“Oh yeah?”.

 

“Yeah… Margaret”

 

“It’s Maggie…”,she scolded.

 

I shrugged, “Whatever…”,I rolled my eyes and saw my mom.

 

She is too arrognant.

 

“Mom!!”, I ran hugging her. She carried me in her arms.

 

“My baby..”,she kissed my cheeks.. She smells good like always.

 

“I’m sorry mom”,

 

“it’s okay..”,she kissed my cheeks again, “Let’s take a walk baby”

 

“Okay… mom”

 

I held her hands and we sat on the lover’s bench.

 

“Tell me how you spent the daywith your dad.. ”

 

“It was the best mom. Can we stay here a little longer”

 

“No baby… I have to go back”

 

“Please..”

 

“Have you thought of your school, my work”

 

I frowned, “we can fixed all here mom.”

 

“We are not staying here and that’s final”

 

I frowned walking away from her. She is so complicated.

 

“Ariel!! Don’t walk away when I’m talking to you”,she shouted and I ran.

 

I saw Raymond dancing and I pulled him by his suit.

 

“Hello princess..”,he said ..

 

“Can you help me out..”

 

“Sure.. .”,Then I whispered into his ears.

I closed my eyes. This really complicated.

 

“My lady..”,I heard a voice behind me and I turned. It was Raymond..

 

“Oh hi, “,I sat up.

 

“The princess request your presence. She said she is packing tonight”.

 

Well that’s strange… she is packing.

 

“I will right there”

We moved upstairs to Prince Nicholas room and I looked around.

 

“She isn’t here”,Then the door clinged.

 

“Hey, open up… “,I hit the door, “Raymond openthe damn door”

 

Why did he lock me. I tried the door knob..

 

“Daisy?”,I turned and saw Prince Nicholas.

 

Damn him.

 

All these was his idea..

 

“You created this, didn’t you?”

 

“No… I didn’t. ”

 

“You did …”.

 

“Will you stop blaming me”

 

“Acting as if I don’t know the master planner”

 

“What has gotten into you”

 

I scoffed, “If you think this is your plan of making me stay with you then you are lying to yourself.. It’s over between us Nick. Move on”, His hands held my cheeks and he gave one long ravishing kiss.

 

“You talk too much..”,he whispered against my lips and he continued his assault while I responded putting all my frustrations and anger into kiss.
