I went up to Jessica’s room while her mom called us down to eat. She served us rice, with turkey bacons and pineapple juice. Yeah! Mrs Nuel is a good cook. We cleared the dishes afterwards and returned to her room.

I helped her pick a nice blue dress, hand bag and a fitting shoe.

We both agreed we’d style our hair into a pony tail with edges at the top of our hair. We talked about Williams and if he’d be cute and what to do to make him hate me and just then Nora came in.

“How long have you been standing there? I asked

“Long enough to hear your entire conversation, I’m telling Mom if you don’t help me clean my room” Nora replied.

Yeah! You see why I call her a no little witch right?

We blatantly refused and she smiled and left.

Jessie and I rushed downstairs to meet her,I interrupted her making her hold back what she wanted to spill

I asked Mrs Nuel for permission to take Jessie along to a party. I told her mom would be there so she agreed.

Nora wanted to come but we refused so her mom told her to stay back.

She tried exposing us but I cut her short and explained to her mom that the party was in favor of Williams Alberto, a son of my mom’s friend.

We got down from the car while mom went to park safely. There were lots of people present, dressed in expensive wears with luxorious cars parked around. The music was playing and some people were dancing while others were taking pictures or drinking or talking with their friends.

I and jessica were offered a drink while mom was talking with some guests she knew who patronized her company.

Suddenly a man went up to the stage and invited dignitaries to their seats. Finally the Man of the hour went up with ladies yelling his name. He introduced himself and thanked everyone for being there.

Jessica told me,” well he’s not that bad” with that mischievous look on her face. I told her,” shut up”.

Well she wasn’t wrong,he was rich had a nice body physique, Brown skinned, handsome and looked like a gentleman.

We locked eyes when he was coming down but I quickly removed my eyes.

Mom took me along to introduce me to him and Sasha too.

When we got there we all exchanged pleasantries and they made up an excuse to leave us alone together.

So he started a conversation

Excuse me? I asked.

I’m trying to get along with you cause that’s what our mothers wants he said .

So you don’t want it? I asked

I came down here in search of a wife and my deems you worthy of the privilege so….”

I interrupted him,” worthy? Look Williams, the normal Stephanie Peters won’t be standing here talking to some random dude who’s feeling himself,I don’t know what you think you of yourself or anything but I don’t care!”

I was about walking out but he stopped me saying,”I’m sorry if I got you upset but our mom’s left you with me so please stay till they’re back at Least”

I asked,” what’re you? My body guard? He answered,” I will if you let me”.

You’re too handsome for that”. I replied.

Oh my gosh,was I just flirting with him? Okay comport yourself and be calm, I said in my mind.

He replied,” I wouldn’t mind being aria beauty like you”.

Oh! He’s flirting back. Gosh!

I left him there anyways.

We got back home after dropping Jessie off at her house.
