Junior pov

 

What is taking ife long?

 

I thought she said she only wants to give him the snacks.

 

‘I need to check on her’ I thought as I head for the ward.

 

I was about to enter when I heard ife asking Vic what she did wrong, why she has to suffer.

 

I felt hurt by her saying dis to Vic, it is the same thing as hearing the person u like confessing her feelings for another person.

 

Everything went quiet.

 

I looked inside and saw Vic kissing ife.

 

I looked at them angrily.

 

They stopped and Ife slapped him.

 

She turned to leave and saw me while Vic smirked at me.

 

I can’t hold it anymore.

 

I rushed to him and punched him, afterwards we started fighting.

 

“Stop” ife said but none of us cared.

 

“Stop!” she shouted and we did stop.

 

She left the room angrily.

 

“Stay away from her” I said.

 

“Why will I?” he said.

 

“Am serious, I won’t lose her to u” I said.

 

“What a pity, u never had her before” he said.

 

I realized he was right.

 

“Even a fool will see dat, stop wasting ur time on her and just accept ur fate” he said and I left the room.

 

Does ife even like me for once, I don’t care, it doesn’t matter.

 

 

Esther pov

 

I was on my way to see Vic, I must have Vic back.

 

I was about to entered his ward when I saw Vic and junior fighting it seems it was bcoz of ife.

 

“Stop!” ife shouted and they did.

 

I hid before they saw me.

 

What is so special about dat girl, everyday I see her she disgusts me.

 

I need June and her goons to act fast or else I will lose Vic .

 

 

‘What can I do’ I thought.

 

Don’t worry I will make dat school a hell for you.

 

 

Vic pov

 

After junior left, I went back to my bed.

 

I smiled when I remember IFE’s words and the kiss.

 

Everything is just working perfectly.

 

Am getting discharged tomorrow.

 

I am not going to give up on having IFE’s heart.

 

Dat fool can’t compete with me, not in dis life or the next one.

Junior pov

 

I eventually regret fighting Vic yesterday, ife didn’t pick my call nor talk to me.

 

She is not even sitting with me.

 

She was sitting at the front today.

 

She couldn’t sit at the back bcoz of Vic who was in school.

 

Thankfully mrs afolabi soon leaves the class.

 

I went to her.

 

“Can we talk?” I asked.

 

“Am busy” she said.

“U did nothing wrong, u just seems to be getting the wrong idea” she said.

 

“What do u mean?” I asked.

 

“I don’t like u, I only took u as my friend and dat is what u will be” she said.

 

“I…… I….” I stuttered.

 

“Am sorry, I tried forcing myself to like you but it is not impossible I don’t want to continue fooling you, I don’t want to give you false hope” she said.

 

“I don’t care, I don’t care if u fool me or not” I said.

 

“It doesn’t matter if u don’t like me or not, just act like u do” I said like a possessed person.

 

“No junior, I can’t do dat” she said.

 

“Am sorry but, let just stay as friends” she said and left.

 

 

I just got rejected and it hurts like hell.

 

 

Ife pov

 

 

I just rejected junior and am sure he is really hurt but I have to let him know, I can’t force myself to like him.

 

He deserves better.

 

“Snake!” someone shouted while I slipped, falling from the stairs.

 

June and her goons laughed.

 

“We got her good” June said.

 

“Ahah,” I said as I try to stand up but I couldn’t.

 

Everyone was laughing at me.

 

I saw junior coming to me but was surprised When he walked pass me.

 

Someone carried me from behind.

 

I looked at the person and it was Vic.

 

I hissed at him.

 

He took me to my favorite spot in school.

 

The garden.

 

“Are u alright?” he asked as he dropped him on the grass carefully.

 

“Thank u, I will get going now” I said and stood up.

 

But fell on the grass.

 

“Seems like u are badly hurt, let me see it” he said touching my leg but I removed his hand.

 

“No need” I said.

 

“If u say so” he said and we stood silent.

 

“When are we going to stop pretending?” he asked.

 

“What do u mean?” I replied.

 

“We both like each other” he said while I bit on my lower lip.

 

“We know we do, so when are we going to stop all dis silly fights” he said.

 

“Coming from the guy who doesn’t know if we are friends or lovers and couldn’t chose between me or his gf till he found out himself” I said.

 

“U were right I couldn’t chose between u or her.”

 

“Back then I was scared to lose u, I want to date u but I also can’t lose my best friend but now I know better.”

 

“Dis past few days were hell for me and I know u felt d same.”

 

“So let stop all dis and let’s date.”

 

“Let date ifemi” he said.
