Because she is getting married this week,said Ameerah. Innalillahi wainaillahi raji’u, said Hassan. Ya salam,my heart hurts,its as if my heart has been wounded,said Hassan. How come your heart has been wounded,are you in love with her, that her marriage to someone else would give you a wound in your heart?asked Ameerah.
Yes,I love her,I started loving her,the day you told me too much staring is a sin,said Hassan. Ameerah,what do I do,I finally found the woman who makes my heart glitters and now someone else has her,surely,the wound in my heart will leave a scar,said Hassan. Am so sorry hassan,may Allah(s w t) bless you with a woman who is better than Aminatu,said Ameerah.
But,hassan wasn’t listening,he was hurt,he slowly walked to his car,he sat in his car for a while,Hassan was in tears.
Ameerah stood watching him,what could she do to help the man who brought a smile on her face after much suffering. Hassan wipe his tears,he drove his car out of the ( school) compound and headed straight home.
Ameerah called Aisha to be with hassan when he returns.
Aisha was at the door waiting for Hassan to return,but,when he got home,he immediately walked to his room,before Aisha could catch up with him,he locked his door.
Hassan wiped and wiped. like a child.
*later in the evening*
He came out of his room,sat on his usual spot. Aisha came.
Ya hassan!she called. Are you alright?she asked. Yes dear,I am fine,he replied sniffing. Why the tears? He was silent,you must love her a lot,does it hurt so much?she asked. How did you know?he asked. Ameerah called me to look after you,she said.
Yes sis,it hurts a lot,its as if their is a cut in my heart,as if my heart wants to fall out,he said. Am sorry bro,Allah(s w t) has a reason for it,she said. I know sis,it just hurt a lot,this heart break will leave a scar in my heart and each time I think of my love for Aminatu,it will always hurt,he said. Am sorry bro,I pray you find happiness soon,said Aisha. Jazakillahukhairan sis,he said. Waa iyaaka,she replied.
During the weekends,Aisha visited Ameerah at her request. Its been a while,said Aisha. That’s right,how have you been?she asked. Alhamdulillah,she replied. How is ya hassan?she added. He is fine,Alhamdulillah. How is he coping with his heart break?she added.
He is trying a lot to forget her,for the first time,he found a woman who appeased his heart,but,someone else has her,said Aisha. I feel sorry for him,said Ameerah. By the way,you said you had something to talk to me about,said Aisha. Yes,that’s right,replied Ameerah. My ears are yours,said Aisha.
I found someone who loves and want to marry me,said Ameerah. Alhamdulillah, Aisha said smiling,am so happy for you,said Aisha. He said,he wants to meet my family members,but you am hassan are the only family I have,so pleas,help me out,said Ameerah. What are you saying,you can always count on hassan and myself,said Aisha. Thanks a lot,said Ameerah. By the way,tell me about him,requested Aisha. The ladies were in the discussion on the man whom Ameerah is planning to get married to.
Aisha told hassan about Ameerah’s request and Hassan was happy to help her out. They set a date on when the man and his people were to visit.on that day,the man came with his friends and relatives.
The man introduced himself as salim. Salim is a handsome young man,who is hardworking and God fearing. He loves Ameerah a lot and she loves him too. After much talking and discussion,a date was set for the wedding,every one was happy,including Hassan.

After the wedding Fatiha. A little gathering was conducted for lunching. Everyone was having fun. Lots of friends and well wishers were still gushing in. Hassan was busy looking around when sighted a lady who was giving food to the orphans,she does everything the way Aminatu does,he walked towards the lady and he called her by the name Aminatu to his surprise,the lady…
