I Loved The Wrong Guy – Episode 15

Episode 15.

As I turned back ,I was shocked. I saw a very familiar car drive into the premises,i prayed my intuitions we’re wrong but Nora saw too,”Steph! That’s my mom” she said in fear.

Just then both our moms alighted from the car and walked towards out direction,anger was written on their faces,oh my God Annabel that’s my mom” I said trembling. Jessica wasn’t even at home and I couldn’t tell them she was on a date or we’ll all be busted.

At least I was with a female and the punishment would be lenient.

“Steph! What are you doing here?” My mom asked

“Why’s Nora with you too, where’s Jessica!” Ma’am Nuel asked.

“I just came out to hang with my friend mom and Nora pleaded to come along.

Jessica’s at home, she’s having menstrual cramps” I answered confidently.

I prayed Jessica got home before us or we’ll be done for completely.

” Get in the car you both” Mom said.

I could see them from the window talking to Annabel,I just got embarrassed now

and the look on her face showed she was angry. How was I going to face her in

school on Monday.

Oh shit!

They came out from Cold Stones with 2 goody bags.

They got into the car and drop off,I knew this was the perfect time to apologise. “I’m so sorry mom,she just wanted to hang with us I never meant harm. I’m so sorry ma’am Nuel, I shouldn’t have tagged Nora along. Please forgive me”. Mom didn’t say anything which was unlike her but ma’am Nuel said,” it’s oka Steph, the deed’s been done already. Just don’t let that repeat itself again”. Mom still wasn’t talking, “I’m sorry mom” I said again.

What if something had happened to you Stephanie! What if you were kidnapped or even killed! What would I have done huh! Answer me!” Mom shouted.

I bent my face and cried,

“C’mon Susan! She’s sorry and I believe she won’t repeat it again so just let it go okay?” Ma’am Nuel solicited on my behalf and after that mom agreed and let it go. I wanted to hug her but I’d wake Nora who was lyingly on my laps so I just rubbed her back and she patted me.

I had already tried Jessica’s number countless times but it was going through so I dropped messages for her which I prayed she see on time.

We got home and alighted at our different houses, the gate man informed mom and us that Williams was here to see us and then it dawned on me that he had promised to visit when he got back to NY.

He stood when he saw mom and I and hugged her. They both exchanged pleasantries and then I just greeted him and waved smiling but that wasn’t enough for him,he hugged me too well,even tighter. Gosh! He smelled so nice I wished the hug would never end!

Mom coughed and that was when we both broke free from each other’s arms. He told Mom he Missed me and had come to see me. He gave me a bag with a supposed gift he’d got for me so I took the bag and went up to freshen up while mom served him some food.

“Wow! My very own first red bottoms! Mom promised to get me one on my graduation but it was still months away and now I have them. Oh Williams! Thanks a lot” I said to myself happily. I got dressed and went downstairs to join him.

He was conversing with mom so I went to the kitchen to take some food but I saw lots of used plates,I remembered it was definitely Been and his girlfriend! Oh I was so going to kill them!

I cleared the plates and was dropping them in the rack standing on my toes but I lost balance, fortunately Williams came on the right time to save me just like in the movies I watched. This was definitely my moment, he helped me to my feet and whispered,”I want a kiss”

I was excited and yet shy so I just smiled and closed my eyes but he came closer to me with his arms around my waist and kissed me. This was my moment!!! It would have been longer but mom interrupted with a noise from the sitting room. He eventually left after we spent some time together and I went up to my room to call Jes.

“What’s up Jes” I asked her

“Steph! I’m screwed! Mom found out! She said with her voice breaking. “What! How did she find out,well what happened!” I asked in fear. “I’m just kidding babes!

” Jes said laughing hard.

“You’re so crazy! Remind me to kill Nora too,can you imagine she faked a sleep so she wouldn’t get scolded!” I told her

Well the call’s on speaker Soo…” Jes said laughing hard with Nora too. “I’ll kill you both but first of all tell me what happened” I asked curiously.

Chill honey! I’ll give you every juicy detail tomorrow at school” Jes said “alright ma’am” I replied mischievously

Mr Jeffrey Jackson,the reason we’re all gathered here! ”

Jes and I shouted in unison

Is that my own Jeffrey?

Well! It could be some else going by his name and…

Steph! Calm down. Jes said to me.

I couldn’t think straight and my legs were beginning to shake too. I grabbed a seat while we waited for the Supposed Jeffrey to appear before us.
