Crazy In The New York City – Episode 2
Adrian’s Pov
I stormed angrily to the security office with Romeo at my back asking me to calm down. How does he wants me to calm down, who the fu.ck is she to bash my car, i’ll destroy her.
“Show me the security footage right now” I said to the official in my coldest tone ever, he was frightened and that was exactly what I wanted.
He rewinds the tape and shows me a young woman walking to the car and bashing it.
“Why” I yelled hitting my hands on the keyboard.
“Find that woman, and once you do bring her to me. She will pay for this car” I said and turned out of the office.
“Oooh she’s a dead meat” One of the officials said and he wasn’t wrong.
Celine’s Pov
Julia kept an eye on me as she continued driving, I didn’t say anything I could only frown my face at her.
“Where are we going” I summoned courage to ask.
“Home Celine, we are going home”
“I don’t wanna go home” I said folding my hands. She stops the car with so much anger and faces me but I look away to avoid eye contact.
“Look at me young woman, I SAID LOOK AT ME” She yells.
“This is not Brooklyn where you do whatever you like, here young woman you would be sentenced to jail because nobody knows you here, so we are going back home” She says and takes a deep breath
“Why, why should I go home. Nobody likes me there, some people want me dead while some want me to live the rest of my life in jail, am a useless person and you
know that. You all call me crazy but I know the best people are crazy, am proud of who I am even though you and our parents have always been ashamed of me. I want a new life sister and am going to have it” I said and opened the door and walked out of the car.
I walked away from her, I would be grateful for her and I know I owe her a lot.
The sound of car engine made me turn back to see my sister smiling at me.
“Get in the car, crazy”
I refuse to enter, I don’t wanna go back home.
“It’s getting late young woman and my friend would soon go to sleep, I already told her we are in NYC and she’s expecting us” She says and I squeal happily.
“You the best” I said and entered the car.

“Celine do not do anything stupid okay” Julia advises as she presses the alarm.
“I promise I won’t” I said looking around.
The door opens and a black lady comes out, danm black people are fu.cking curvy.
“Hey Julia, how you doing” She greets and they hug.
“Is this your sister, she’s a pretty one” She compliments me but I know she’s telling a lie.
“Come in come in” She urges and pulls Julia in.
“Mary I need to talk to you about my sister” Julia says and pulls Mary away.
I walk to the TV and switch it on, I didn’t like what was displayed on the TV at all.
“BUSINESS TYCOON ADRIAN VANDERMIR GETS HIS CAR BASHED BY ONE OF HIS HOOK UPS WHO HE CLAIMS WAS USING A FAKE PREGNANCY TO HOLD HIM DOWN. ADRIAN CLAIMS HE WOULD NEVER IMPREGNATE A PROSTITUTE”
I felt like my ears were deceiving me but a picture of me hitting his car was uploaded on the screen and I knew it was real.
Who the fu.ck is this Adrian and why would he make such claim on me, Me a prostitute, I haven’t even seen a pe.nis in my whole life.
I switched off the TV immediately and forced a smile when Mary and my sister walked out of the room.
“So I hear you are a crazy type” She says looking at me sternly.
“Look Celine I can’t stay with you, I have a life to live in Brooklyn so Mary would be in charge of you from now please be a good girl”
“Thank you so much Julia” I said and hugged her.
I bid my goodbyes and walked back inside.
“So I work in a club, I can help you find a job there too”
“Thanks” I said and yawned.
“I have an extra room but I’ll have to clear it out so you’ll would have to manage the couch today”
“Okay”
Adrian’s Pov
“I can’t believe you are still going to the hotel after what happened” Romeo says and pulls the brakes of his car.
“And dude you shouldn’t have made such a claim on the poor lady, I know there must be a misunderstanding somewhere”
“Well I don’t care, all I know is she destroyed my car and she would pay for it” I said
“You really don’t have a heart do you” He said but I ignore him and walk out of his car.
“Go home to Jessica you don’t want her to start nagging” I said and walked in the hotel.
I ignored the receptionist and walked straight to my room.
The lady was there already.
“Hey Adrian” She said in a seducing tone.
“Yeah pull off your clothes and let’s get down to business” I said loosing interest already, my day wasn’t just going good.
“No foreplay, cmon Adrian we have all night” She says and crawls up to me.
I push her away angrily.
“Get out”
“Excuse me”
“I said get out”
“Adrian you can’t….” I didn’t let her finish before pulling her out and throwing her
bag at her.
“Adrian what the hell is this” She fumes angrily while I write her a cheque and give it to her.
“Goodnight” I said and slammed the door.
This was the first time I spent a night alone in the hotel.
All thanks to that witch. Oh am gonna kill her.
Celine’s Pov
Hmmmm I can smell it, pancakes and chocolate syrups. A good way to start the morning.
“Good morning Celine, I see you enjoyed your night” She says pointing the at the drool on my face.
“Am going to work now. Help yourselves with the pancakes and I left some notes on the Tv, help yourselves with it.
Your room is cleared, it’s the one on the left once you reach upstairs.
You can visit the neighbors and make friends if needed.
I’ll help you find a work today so you just don’t eat my food” She said and smiled.
“Don’t destroy anything” She says and walks out.
I walk to the pancakes and did accurate justice to it.
I take the trash out once I was through and I noticed someone was trying to get my attention.
“Hey” The guy kept on yelling.
I point at myself to be sure he was referring to me.
“Are you talking to me” I asked.
“No the ghost behind you, am talking to you dummy” He said and I chuckled.
New Beginning Celine, new beginning.
I walked straight to him since he was opposite Mary’s house.
“Hi” I greeted trying to be nice but God knows I wanna break his nose.
“Yeah so what are you doing with the black monkey” He asked and I understood his racism immediately.
The bastard.
“Excuse me” I asked and he laughed.
“Don’t you know she’s a ……. Ouch” He yelled in pain after I punched his nose, it
was bleeding.
“Oh sorry are you bleeding, come let me help you stop the bleeding” I said and punched him again.
“What are you doing” He cried out.
“Am trying to punch the blood back inside” I said and gave him the last one. He fell down and held his nose.
I don’t deal with spoiled children, first of all he insulted me, am sure he’s still a teenager and I am 23 years old curse my small stature. Then he makes a racist comment about Mary, I don’t like racism.
Adrian’s Pov
Today should be a good day for me, Romeo has good news for me, the mole who helped Deandro get my contract has been found and unfortunately for her she’s a female. No female would mess with me and go scotfree, ill destroy you completely.

“Miss flat chested” I said looking at the picture Romeo sent to me.
“Her name’s Gabrielle Adrian” He says on the phone
“Her name doesn’t matter, all that matters is she betrayed the company and she would pay deeply for it”
“Adrian go easy on her okay”
“Call you later” I said and dropped my phone on the table.
I respect women but once you go out of your way I’ll make sure you regret ever doing so, even the wench who bashed my car would wished she was never born.

“Good evening Sarah” I greeted my old maid.
“Adrian I thought you were never going to come back home, it’s been almost a week” She says. I smile and hug her lightly.
“Sarah am hungry, is there anything at home to eat”
“I’ll make pasta for you, just the way you like it” She says and walks to the kitchen.
Sarah has been with me for 19 years now but am more closer to her than I am to my mom, she’s been there for me through everything. She was the one who helped me through my first heartbreak.
I pick up my phone and look at the caller ID. An evil smile comes up.
“The job is done” The caller said and I smiled victoriously.

After eating Sarah’s delicious pasta, the security guard came inside.
Luckily Sarah had gone upstairs.
“Sir there’s a lady waiting outside, should I let her in” He asked and I looked at him with the most meanest eyes ever.
Except from Sarah and my mother, no woman is worthy enough of entering my house they all belong to the hotel.
I walked out of the mansion then to the garden, then to the gates of my house. I walked outside the gate and met Gabrielle sobbing remorsefully.
Her chest still flat, how disappointing.
“What do you want” I asked not sparing her any look.
“Some men came to my house and confiscated my car, they destroyed my house and brought it down to it’s foundation and they said it was your order” She said shedding more tears.
“So you came here to tell me what I already know” I said getting bored. Yes I am a mean man.
“But why?” She asked.
“Ask Deandro the man you gave our information to. Next time you’ll think before betraying our company. You have two minutes to leave here ” I said and walk back inside the mansion. Nobody messes with Adrian.
Celine’s Pov
Thinking about the stupid Adrian whose car I bashed made me turn upset, how dare he call me a prostitute, I hope I don’t meet him one day, he’ll regret ever lying.
Nobody messes with Celine.
“Celine come out here” Mary’s voice yelled from outside. That was like Julia’s voice whenever I did something. I ran outside to meet Mary standing and frowning, the boy I broke his nose and an older woman I guess his mother was standing with her.
“Celine what did you do” She asked and I looked down.
“Am talking to you” Mary yells
“He made a racist comment about you” I replied
“Is that why you broke his nose, how dare you, everyone has a freedom of speech” His mother said yelling in my face.
“Celine am so disappointed in you” Mary says angrily.
“You didn’t do a good job breaking his nose” She says and punches his mother’s face. She fell to the ground immediately.
“That’s how you break a nose” Mary says and pulls me back inside.
I look at her astonished, I wasn’t expecting her to do that.
“Oh that was just a slip of hand” She said and I laughed.
“I thought I was the crazy one” I said and she laughs.
“No no Celine, your sister has told me everything you did and I am not as daring as you are”
I chuckled and smiled at her, I am liking this woman.
“So have got good news and bad news, which one do you want to hear first” She asked and I shrug.
“Good??”
“Okay the good news I got you a job”
“And the bad news??” I asked trying not to get too excited.
“You have to keep up with men, the same way I keep up with them”
“I don’t understand”
“Celine you have to learn to not take things seriously, men in clubs hardly respect woman, so you have to..”
“It’s not a big deal when am I starting”
“Tonight, club 69”
“Tonight??, you work in the day”
“That’s because my shift is in the day time, Look Celine I can’t work in the night, you are young, pretty and white”
“Ohhh” I say getting her point.
“So I’ll drop you at work, you close 3 am and I got you a phone”
“Oh thanks Mary” I said excited.
“So what’s my work exactly”
“Simple just stand behind the bar and ask for their other, make silly jokes and pretend to like everyone even though you know deep down you don’t”
“Sounds good” I said and smiled.
Julia’s Pov
I laid in bed next to my fiance, this 39 years old man is my one way ticket to stardom. Once we tie the knot I’ll get famous and my modeling career gets better than this. I really don’t love this man in fact I don’t think I can love any man.
There’s only one guy I ever loved since high school but my parents didn’t like him since his mother and mine were enemies.
I had to break up with him after we had lost our virginity to each other. Since then he had become a monster and I haven’t heard from him since then.
Celine’s Pov
Mary introduces me to the workers and soon all of them surrounded me like I was an art in the museum.
I became nervous as soon as Mary left, the club was booming already and I know exactly what to do.

Everything seemed fine until a guy walked up me, he ordered his drink and threw the cash at me.
I pick it up and threw it back at him.
“Hand me the money like a normal human” I said.
“Excuse me” He said and I chuckled cracking my fist.
“Sorry it didn’t come out well, hand me the money well or I destroy your face” I threatened but he throws the money at me again.

“Celine what the fu.ck is wrong with you, why did you break a bottle on his head” Clara one of the workers asked after pulling me away from my post.
“He was rude” I replied.
“Do you want to work here or not..” she asked. I was going to reply but the screams heard from inside the club made me stop.

“It’s Adrian. Adrian Vandermir is in the club” She squealed jumping.
“Adrian did you say Adrian Vandermir” I asked and she nodded.
“That bastard” I growled and stormed out but Clara was quick to pull me back.
“Where are you going” She asks.
“Just because I bashed that idiot car he called me a prostitute, I’ll make him pay” I said angrily.
“Are you crazy? Do you have a death wish, you bash his car and you want to go out to meet him. Adrian would destroy you in seconds” She says. I scoff and roll my eyes.
“Am not scared of him” I said and walked away.
“Celine come back here” Celine yelled but I ignore her.
