A MONTH LATER.
Peter was devastated with the divorce he received from his wife. The loneliness he was in at the apartment he was staying was unimaginable.
He missed happy moments with his kids. Despite being ill treated by her, he still missed Fostinah. He was still in love with her even though she outrightly made it clear that there was nothing left in her for him. “I just hope, he misses me too” he wished.
Tamarah was the one who was giving him some emotional and moral support. She was there for him whenever he was low.
On a weekend, Tamarah went to visit Peter at his apartment. He was happy to see her as she was the only person who brought companionship to him.
“Before I go, what would you like me to prepare for you” Tamarah asked. “I don’t know because when you go, i rarely have appetite to eat.”
“You can’t be punishing yourself in that way. You have to be eating in order to have some energy to do what is required of you” “I know but nothing makes sense to me these days”
“You are not yet over with her. That’s why you are acting so creepy. Let me tell you something, the first step to healing in such scenario is to accept that what has happened, happened. If you keep denying that fact, you wont heal at all.” “Any proof of that ideology?”
“I have been disappointed several times by men and the first step to healing which
I take is acceptance.”
“I see. And after that?”
“Keep yourself busy to kill the lone time which might end up making you start thinking about her. Have friends”
“Okay”
“Actually I know the best way in which you can forget about her.”
“Which is?”
“Find yourself a woman who will value you and take good care of you”
“It’s just so soon. I need alone time”
“I guarantee that will be the most helpful way.”
“Tamarah i don’t have interest in women now”
“I will help you gain interest in women. There is this workmate of mine who is so pure inside out. Am telling you, the day you will set your eyes on her, you will come to believe that divorce from Fostinah was a blessing” “I don’t trust your judgements on women”
“Have I ever let you down?”
“Are you not the one who connected me to Fostinah?”
“Oh that was an error but this one is touch and go”
“Am not interested.”
“Anyway, I will keep the doors open to her. When you want her just let me know. She is ready for a man”
“Tamarah stop blubbering and do what you said you will do”
“You haven’t chosen what you want me to cook for you”
Just then her phone started ringing. When she checked who the caller was, it was the director Pride.
“Hello sweetie” she picked.
“Aaah no I have come to visit my cousin”
“I will call you back”
“Am serious. I will call you” she said.
Peter was there watching her as she talked. He couldn’t get the words of Pride.
“Mmmmm Sweetie ka?”
“Never mind”
“I can see someone is in love.”
“Atleast now. He looks so promising to me. He is great guy”
“Am happy for you that you have a man who looks promising because you have been very unfortunate in love issues.”
“Thank you. Yeah, i have been dumped, heartbroken and tarnished.”
“I guess he is the one who will turn you around.”
“Hope so”
Tamarah prepared a meal for Peter before leaving for her home. Peter was really happy for her thoughtfulness and that a man had finally come her way.

The relationship between Fostinah and Josne was also taking a strong path. The chemistry between them was getting so strong each waking day.
Josne had already started spoiling her with expensive gifts and taking her to lucrative places. Fostinah was head over heels with this treatment.
She even hired a living in maid to be taking care of the kids in instances where she was not home.
The other day, they went out on a date to a classy hotel to have dinner together.
Fostinah was dressed nicely for the occasion as well as him.
They went and sat at the pre booked table. Their orders were brought and went on enjoying.
“I hope you like the place” Josne said.
“Yes of course I like the place. So calm and relaxing” Fostinah answered.
Deep down her heart she was really happy because that was the best and luxurious
place she had ever been to in her life.
“Josne, can I ask you something?”
“Yeah, sure”
“You have almost anything, why aren’t you married?”
“I have not yet found someone who loves me for who I am. The people I have dated, they are just interested in what I have instead of who I am” “Okay I see. Do you have any child?”
“No, I don’t”
“Oh okay, so would you love a woman who has a child?”
“Yes that’s not a problem. I would love a woman with a child but if she has two, i can be a bit uncomfortable but it can depend with how we get along”
“What about a woman with three children?”
“That’s a no for me. Regardless of how far we have gone but if she has three
children, we can not go anywhere.”
“Oh okay”
At this point Fostinah knew that chances of her being dumped by Josne were going high seeing how confident and serious he was when saying his words.
They had there dinner and Josne drove her to her home. They hugged and she went into her house as he drove away. The good thing was Josne had never been into her home. He just stopped by the gate and left.
She got to her room and showered before getting into her bed.
“He doesn’t want three children and that’s what I have. I need to do something. I can’t afford to lose him.” She thought to herself.
A little while later Josne called letting her know that he had arrived safely and wished her a good night.
“Such a heavenly man, i will do anything it takes to have him. I will find a way about these kids.” She thought to herself. .
