Ella’s pov
He’s right tho, who am I trynna impress, maybe it’s wrong trying to gain his attention, the stupid feeling must stop, and Diana is gonna help with that. **************************************************
I woke up with a slight headache and look around, gosh thank God am home, I smiled at my self and remembered what happened last night
**Flashback**
Tonight’s party is by far the best the school has ever hosted, entering the hall, a lot of people already arrived, Danny and Diana walk hand in Hand to the dance floor, I sighted Richard with the boys and walked over to him, “Care to dance or you don’t dance with a queen”
“Really….” He smirked “I would be graced to dance with a queen as you call
yourself”
Not giving room for any other protest, I grabbed a bottle of beer from Luke and dragged him to the dance floor, I danced and drank till I got drunk and went out of control, I walked over to where Danny and Diana is, Slapped Diana and dragged Danny towards the door, “Ella have you been drinking” Danny asked me dragging us to a halt outside the hall, “what’s the meaning of what you just did in there Ella” Diana threw the next question, so she followed us outside,
“I want to sleep….” that was the last statement I made before falling in Danny’s
arm.
**Present**
Her cheek is so soft I thought to myself, if only I can be opportuned to slap her like that each time she nears Danny, he’s mine alone.
“But this feeling isn’t right….He is my blood” my subconscious yelled within
me,. Arghhh!
I took my bath and changed into a simple black straight gown, wear my flip flops and headed downstairs. Met dad in the Dinning area reading a newspaper “Good morning Dad” I greeted
“Good morning my Queen, how’s your night”
“Fine Dad”
“Ella you got drunk last night…”
“Dad am sorry, I don’t know what came over me, I didn’t even mean to slap Diana, I dunno what happened I just lost control of myself” I explained with a remorseful look
“You Slapped Diana?” Dad questioned, what didn’t he know, ohmy I am done for,
God please don’t let him take it up
“Good Morning dad”
Danny greeted
“Hey Son, what happened last night, Ella slapped Diana, and you two kept mute about it”
From the look on Danny face I could see he is confused “It wasn’t intentional dad, she was drunk”
He defended, but dad won’t let it go without his warnings
“Learn to control your urge irrespective of the mood or condition you are” he said and made to leave for work. I wonder what he meant by that…
Whatever….”Thanks” I muttered to Danny and leave for my room.
