*Susan’s POV*

 

Wow! Finally this is done! Good job son. What’s the time?

 

“It’s some minutes

 

past 2 mom”

 

“Let’s go eat, I’m hungry and I’m sure you are too”

 

“I’m starved too mom”

 

 

We got to a restaurant and ordered for food and that was when I saw Damien! Oh God!

 

I so prayed he didn’t see me but unfortunately he did and he walked over to our table.

 

Hey Susan! This is really you right? Wow you looking good..

 

“Hi Damien.thanks.

 

I was so nervous,it was more like panicking.

 

“Sorry but can you excuse us we were about leaving” I told him and took Ben by the hand walking out.

 

“Hey Mom! What’s wrong??

 

“Nothing! Just get in the car. We can go home and have lunch and besides am through for today”.

 

That was Damien,the biological father of my Benhamin,my boss at work then who took advantage of my condition and slept with me. He had apologized though and was really remorseful but still I wasn’t ready to let all these out. **

 

*Ben’s POV*

 

Why was mom that nervous around that man? Did she know him from somewhere? She was almost having a panic attack! I should find out about him and get to the root of this. But maybe I should ask mom about him. “Hey Mom! You really like this music a lot. I do too”

 

“It’s a regularly played song but I got used to it and I love it now” she answered

 

trying to remain calm.

 

“So who was Mr Damien?

 

“No one! Forget about him Ben please! We’re not having this conversation again”.

 

We got back home and mom angrily left for her room.

 

“Hey what’s up? Why’s mom looking pissed?” Steph asked.

 

“I don’t know what all that was about”

 

“‘all what?” She asked

 

“Mom and I went out for lunch and then she met this man and suddenly was nervous. She warned me never to speak about him and that I should forget it too” “Really?!” Steph asked

 

“Mom did that to me too you know? My boyfriend Jeffrey! She asked me to forget him and to stop talking about him and even to him. She looked nervous and at the same time angry’.

 

“What if they’re both related?” I asked

 

 

“I don’t know but we’ll have to find out about that. What’s this man’s name?” Steph asked

 

“He was called Damien”

 

“Damien hmmm? What if he’s Jeffrey’s dad or something like that?” “It’s left for us to find out, where’s Stacy?” I added. *Jessica’s POV*

 

I had tried calling Fred’s number many times but he wasn’t picking the calls so I

 

decided to give him a surprise visit.

 

*Fred’s POV*

 

Urghhhh…. Can this week be over already?

 

I’m so fed up of staying here and being constantly reminded of my flaws and to get away from that useless girrrrrrl friend of mine.

 

I took up the second wrap of cannabis and lighted it,just then Jessica walked in. “Fred!”

 

Oh my God! What’s this bitch doing here? I said in my mind.

 

I threw the cigar away and tried faking a smile.

 

“Hey babe”

 

“Fred honey.. are you okay? Do you smoke..?

 

“No babe! I don’t. It’s just the depression and constant nagging I receive here. Now you’re going to tell everyone aren’t you?”

 

“Of course I won’t. You’re depressed and that can cause a lot of things but you really need a therapist”

 

“No! I’m fine babe, I’ll be leaving the country soon though”.

 

“Huh?! What do you mean by leaving the country?”

 

“I can’t continue here. I’ll die. My parents keeps on making me feel unvalued and worthless. They repeatedly nag me and curse me at any slightest opportunity they get and I’m tired. I felt like killing myself but whenever I remember you I have to stop myself” I said trying to fake a tear since she was already crying.

 

“But babe! What about me? What about us? Are you going to leave me here?” She asked crying

 

“I’ll be back for you honey but I need to fix myself for you,for us! ”

 

“Promise me nothing will get in between us”

 

“I promise my love, I’ll be leaving by next week and my tickets are ready. It’s a morning flight but my feelings for you will never fly away babe”

 

I could see she was happy and was smiling so I kissed her. She resisted at first possibly because of the cannabis taste of my tongue but she continued. Kissing her

 

increased my libido and before you knew it I had stripped her na.ked and was

 

banging the hell out of her.

*Stephanie’s POV*

 

I was going through some things in my book, I still had exams in t

 

he midst of all these comotion. Trust me it wasn’t easy. Jes called me asking me to

 

log online so we could FaceTime.

 

“Steph! He’s leaving!” Jes said whyning

 

“Who’s leaving?” I asked unbothered

 

“Fred!”

 

“And why?”

 

“He’s depressed Steph and his father is sending him over there for him to learn how to be responsible”

 

“His father has his concern at heart so chill”

 

“I’ll miss him so much”

 

“C’mon babe! When Jeff left did I die?!”

 

“No” she answered still sad

 

“Fine! You can do it too okay?”

 

“Yes I can! Thanks babe. And why’s your room looking like a library?” She asked looking bright.

 

“Hey ma’am! I’ve got a graduation to do!”

 

And we both laughed

 

“Yeah! Yeah! Read all you want! The party is tomorrow. Hope Nora’s gift is ready?”

 

“Of course it is!”

*At Nora’s birthday party*

 

Well in case you weren’t told,the Sampsons are one of the influential family here in New York. Journalists we’re here to capture every moment. The house was decorated in grandeur and great style.

 

It looked magnificent and of course suiting for Miss Nora.

 

Nora came down in her pink ball gown looking so lovely. The paparazzi were all there, pictures were being taken and cameras were flashing everywhere.

 

There was dancing and fun, people dropped a lots of gifts for Nora and others were taking pictures. Jessica was welcoming guests while her mom was supposedly upstairs since she was nowhere around.

 

 

I sat down with a glass of juice thinking and my mind strayed to Annabel and it was then I remembered her words

 

“Get me Justice Steph…. Find him”

 

Does a suicidal death involve Justice? Certainly not! Unless it was a murder! Oh my God! Was Anna really murdered and why did she say,”Find him? Oh God!!

 

I was interrupted by the sound of glass breaking upstairs.

 

Jessica looked around and couldn’t find her mom or dad,she knew it was definitely a fight. She shouted ,”mom! Mom! Running up the stairs.

 

Her dad was beating her mom,she was unconscious too. “Some one call the ambulance Immediately!” I shouted “And the police too!” Jessica added looking enraged.

 

So this was why both Nora and Jessica were never happy to have him around. “Hey Jes, are you okay? I’m sorry all these were happening to you and I wasn’t there to console you”.

 

“You never wanted to know anyways so why are you bothered now?!” “Huh?! I asked in shock

 

“What do you mean by I was never bothered to know? I asked you a lot of times what was going on and even when i caught your parents arguing I asked about it but you denied everything! I’m human too not a mind reader. How did you expect me to know?” I asked in tears

 

“Just leave it now Stephanie, please!”

 

And she Walked out on me. I hugged Nora who was crying at a corner and led her to mom who was going to the hospital alongside.
