(Strong feelings)
Chapter seventeen
Ariyike pov
“You want me to find you a bride?” I asked shattered.
“Yes” he said with no feeling of remorse.
I thought he said he likes me, how can he easily ask me to find him a bride.
“Ok, if that is what you want. I will find you a bride just as requested, after all that is my job” I said and sniffed trying to hold back the tears that welled up.
My job is to find them suitors and brides, but yet never found my own suitor. “Ok, I will get back to you soon”
“Thank you, let’s go” he said to the man with him and they left.
Find him a bride?

“I hope my plan works” I sighed.
This is my only way for having her back, I couldn’t think of anything else.
I just hope she comes back to me.
“Welcome back sir” Bimpe my secretary greeted.
“Yes thank you” I said and she left.
This time am going to approach her as the real me.

“Here’s Miss Sewa’s files, as you can see she also comes from a rich family like Mr Oludare, the same age as him” Shade explained.
“She is the perfect match for him” she said while I frowned.
“I don’t like her, she seems proud for him” I said while Shade cleared her throat.
“This is Miss laide’s file” she hands over the files to me.
“She is two years younger, she works in a big company, she is smart and successful, so what do you think?” She asked eager for my answer.
“Well?” She asked.
“I don’t like her, she is totally not his type” I said while Shade sighs. “How do you know his type, are you him?”
“This is the seventeenth lady but yet you keep declining them. What is going on?”
“That is none of your business, just find another person. Come back when you find the perfect bride” I said while she turned around and left upset.
What is wrong with me? I just can’t bring myself to find a bride for someone I like.
I just can’t do this, I really can’t.
My phone rings.
What is it?*
You have a visitor* shade said on the phone.
Let them in* I hung up.
My door opens and Tim came in.
“What are you doing here?” I asked hoarsely.
“Can I sit first” he asked with an apologetic look.
He looked messy, his face bearded and unshaved, he looks pale.
“Ok” I sighed.
“Sit” I offered and used my hand to signify to him.
“Thank you” he said after sitting.
“What do you want?” I asked politely.
“I heard that Seye is back and I also heard about the two of you”
“So?” I asked unwilling to let him finish.
“Please go back to Seye, give him a chance. I and Seye have been friends for a decade but that day I saw something I’ve never seen since his brother’s death, love”
“I know I don’t deserve to say this, but he really likes you a lot, he cares and cherish you a lot”
“Wait, he has a brother?”
“He had” he said while I felt sorry for Seye.
“So please give him a last chance, pls” he begged.
Should I give Seye a chance?
Is that really right?

I stepped out of my car, buttoned up my suit.
Step one for winning her back, be who you are.
I head for her company but stopped when I saw Tim and Ariyike coming out from her company, smiling.
I felt hurt.
“Seye?” Tim called after seeing me.
“What are you two doing together, must you really go to this far?” I moved closer to him but was stopped by Ariyike’s hug.
“It isn’t what you think, the girl is yours now. I hope we go back to our old times, I will call you tomorrow” Tim said but I don’t really care about his words at least not now but the fact that Ariyike hugged me.
“Are we back together?” I asked.
“Yes, and this time am going to hold on tight” she replied and hugged me tight.
This is it.
This feeling, this sweet feeling I don’t want to stop.
This strong feelings.
This joy, love that I don’t want to let go.
I didn’t notice it but now I do, am in love.
