I’ve decided to write a season two of TBBG so there is no epilogue.
Instead this is a message to all those who are annoyed at the ending of TBBG.
Lemme start by asking this question, is it a crime to write a story?
Most will answer no but with the reaction I got yesterday, I’m thinking it is.
Right from the beginning, I already saw comments that told me how the story was going to end and truth be told, most of them were right. I just
told myself to write the story anyways. This particular story is what we writers call “cliche”.
The ending is already obvious right from the start. I was heartbroken but I pushed forward nevertheless.
In the particular episode in which Kacey and Dylan came in, she was supposed to be the jealous ex who would try to stand between them but I was tired of following that particular storyline so instead I tweaked it and made Dylan and Violet old friends from Missouri and even added the part about them fake dating to occupy the story for awhile.
That segment came to an end though and I brought Kyle back since he was the bad boy and he was the main character.
I never even envisioned Dylan and Violet ending up together nor did I ever envision bringing Dara or making Violet’s past so secretive but those ideas also just came along in the cause of writing and here we are.
Now about those who are commenting that I used a wrong title and all that shit, were you guys even reading the story at all?
First of all, Kyle is the playboy and Violet, his girl bringing up the title “The Bad Boy’s Girl”.
Secondly, Kyle fell in love with her, did he not? But if you read carefully, after they slept together, Violet admitted to herself that she had no feelings for Kyle whatsoever. She was even calm about finding out it was all a bet. Why? Because she didn’t love him.
