Helene pov
“Get out of my room, STUPID” I heard happiness voice as I was coming from my room.

I walked in to her room and saw her cover in blanket with the maid standing besides her.

After dressing for her, I took her hand and we both walked out of the room.
We get to the dining room and I saw Loretta and Stephan.

I can’t go out. I can’t face her. What if she recognize me? What will be my fate?
How will I tell happiness?!
I scratch my head.
“How will I tell happiness that Helene is her biological mother? How will I tell Helene that I was the one that raped and took away her virginity? What will be their reaction?
“Happiness will hate me. My daughter will hate me…Helene will never forgive me. She will never forgive me…what have I done?
“But why did Stephan lie to me that she’s dead? Why? Why?”
“Daddy..?” I heard happiness voice behind me
I flinched back and fell on the bed.
“Are you okay? Why are you scared?’ she asked smiling.

“The food is ready..everybody is waiting for you downstairs..”
“Helene is also there..?” I asked

I hope she didn’t hear what I said earlier.
We walk downstairs and met the others probably waiting for us.
“Good morning..Dalton” Stephan said
“Good…morning” I said slowly.
Stephan lied to me. He lied to my family.
“Good morning girls” I said and smiled then take a seat.
“No…daddy. I want you to seat besides Helene. Can’t you see Loretta and that play boy” She said and pointed at Stephan
“Yes…I supported that” Loretta said
I look at Helene who smiled brightly.
I hope this will last.
I sat down besides her and we started eaten.

We are in the pool swimming. I was sitting on a chair while Loretta and Stephan was playing throw and catch.
Dalton was sitting beside me while happiness was sitting on the edge of the pool with her let in the pool.
“Is something wrong?” I asked Dalton who rest his head on my shoulder.
“Everything is wrong, baby” he said
“Can you share it?”
He raise up his head and look at me.
“I love you but something is stopping me. I want to be a best man for you to make up for whatever I have done to…”

“In my own…I’ll forgive and forget…why? Because..if he did not apologize, what will I do? If he did not admit that he was wrong, what will I do? If he even show me that he wrong me but told me that what will I do…seriously…what will I actually do? Will I kill him? No…that will lead me to jail. And besides…he apologize..what else do I want? He admitted that he was wrong and was sorry…so
what else do I want? He want me back…that’s a good news. He took away my happiness…he took away my dignity…he made me lost my family… BUT” she look at me with tearful eyes. “He is here to restore it back. He is here to bring all my take away back. I should be happy…though it was a traumatic experience but with happiness ending” She said and smiled then tears rolled down her Cheek.
I was also crying. Because everything she said…speaks about me. About the guy who raped me. About the person who kidnapped my child.
“W-who taught you all this?” I asked her
“Sometimes…if you think too much and want a better ending…idea will came up and still…why am I going to school?” she smiled. “To have more widow…Helene…I am expecting an answer from you…anything…any day…anywhere”
She said and walked away.
“Can I forgive and forget who took away my happiness?” The question ring in my head.
