Stacy took Ben up to his room while Jeff helped me calm down.

“You’ve got a lot to deal with,I think I should handle this myself okay?” Jeff said

“No way! I won’t let my pain stop me. I promised Ann this and I’m definitely doing it, first thing tomorrow Morning I’m heading to Annabel’s so meet me there. We’re definitely doing this okay?!”

“Sure babe! Please get some rest alright? I’ll call you before you go to bed” Jeff hugged me, kissed me goodnight and then left.

I waited up for a long time for mom to arrive but she didn’t. I received a call from Jeff and after answering the call I saw a notification. She had already dropped a message since saying she won’t be home today but I guess I didn’t see it.

I woke up and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone,I made toasted bread and laid the table. I went upstairs to shower and then informed them food was ready though I wasn’t expecting anyone to eat happily.

At breakfast I told them all about Anna’s death up to the point of Jessica hating me now. They felt hurt too but encouraged me to get her Justice which I supported. I dressed up and gave Jeffrey a call before heading to Annabel’s. ******

*Damien’s POV*

So you mean that I had a son with you and you kept it from me this past 21 years?” “I’m so sorry I didn’t inform you on time,the truth was that it caused a disaster in my family and was the reason my husband left me and I knew you weren’t going to accept him in the beginning since you had a family” Susan said.

“It’s okay dear, You’re right about that as I already had a wife and a little kid. I still can’t fathom the reason I did that to you and I’m so sorry for that. I’m always here to help you out from any situation you may encounter in the future because of my mistake” I said to her remorsefully.

“Thanks Damien but I need to head to work now,I have a lot of things to do” “Fine then, let’s have dinner together and I can drop you off at home… C’mon Susan! I know you’ll be working late today and you’ll be hungry by the time you’re done so please let me do this” I begged

“Fine! I’ll let you know when I’m done at work. Thank you” I said going back to

work.

Good morning Dad” Jeff greeted an older man who was probably Annabel’s father.

I greeted him too and he asked the usual how are you questions.

“It’s been long you’ve visited since after Annabel’s passing,you young lads of today. You hardly have time for your family anymore,it’s either you’re at school or out with friends” Mr Martin said smiling

“Uhh, you know that’s not the issue sir. I’ve been busy but I do call to check up on you though”

“Yeah,you do. You get a point” he said smiling broadly.

“Mary! Mary! Please get some food for the children!” He shouted

“No sir, we’re not actually here for that. We came because we’ve got something

serious to tell you”I said.

“Yes uncle” Jeff supported

“We think Annabel didn’t commit suicide but was in fact murdered! Here, listen to this” Jeff said

We played the recording of Annabel screaming for help and he was shocked. We could see good pimples all over his face.

Whose name was she calling?! Does she know anyone bearing Frrrr..? Mr Martins asked looking enraged.

“Here’s the story sir, there’s this guy named Fred Mccalls. He’s a classmate of ours and also responsible for Annabel’s pregnancy. I know you were never told about that pregnancy or who the father was in the first place but Anna and I met before that incident. I visited her while she was still in the hospital and she told me everything there was to know so I strongly believe Fred has a hand in this so we need to search Annabel’s room for proof sir.” I said trying to hold back the pain “Uncle,here’s another painful fact,Fred is her best friend’s boyfriend and her name is Jessica. She doesn’t believe Stephanie and thinks she’s lying to her so now the have a fight and Jessica more or less hates her” Jeff added

“I’m so sorry you had to go through that just to help my daughter my dear,the truth will always surface in the end and if your friendship

is strong enough it’ll fight through all these” Mr Martins said “Thanks a lot sir”

We all headed to Annabel’s room and searched everywhere. We looked through everywhere but couldn’t find anything.

“Aha! Look what I found!” Mr Martin’s shouted pointing at a cigar lying near her closet next to the floor where she was found in a pool of blood. “Hey! I see something too” I signaled.

We wore gloves and then took out the cigar and phone too. It was Anna’s phone,we went through it and yes! She had called Fred before calling me so all these made sense.

She had called Fred to tell him about the pregnancy and since Fred was a jerk he had possibly denied the pregnancy or threatened to kill her if she told anyone else

making her call me probably for help and then he arrived and threw the phone from her hand after a struggle making the phone land under the bed. He was smoking a cigarette? Or he had an unlit one in his pocket? But Fred doesn’t smoke,I mean he doesn’t look like it. This is where we need Jessica’s help but she’s not here. “Everything you said make perfect sense my dear” her dad said. He drove us to the police station to file a complaint with the evidences we got and brought a lawyer along too.
