In the class I could see everyone was present apart from Fred but Annabel was looking enraged and I was happy seeing her like that. I finally had reasons to believe she was a whore.

 

The teacher noticed her lack of concentration and asked if she was okay but she just acted like she was.

Fred joined our table for lunch but I stared evily at him but smiled when I saw Jessie looking my way so I faked a conversation.

 

“Hey Fred! So nice of you to join us, how’s the sleeping.. sorry, reading together going?” I tried to make him feel uneasy and it worked. He looked at me with this”what’s going on in her head” eyes but Jessica didn’t know anything and I decided not to tell her anything too, it’ll be better she found out herself.

 

He replied,” it’s going well and I’m ready for the competition now!”

 

“Yes you are , you’ve been reading a lot and I know you’ll win baby”. Jessica said. “You know what, I’ll be free on Saturday so how about we go for our date”Fred said

 

“Aww, I’ll be free too but remember we’re watching the movies too” Jessica replied “Anything for you my love” he said.

 

Oh yuck! Now he’s acting like a good boyfriend. This sucks.

 

Just then Annabel joined us.

 

I spoke up,” Wrong table Miss Annabel Martins!”

 

“Oh Steph! Come on,I don’t want us holding on to this for a long time” she said. “Well you started it” I replied

 

“Yeah,so I want to end it” she said.

 

Jessica replied,” fine Annabel! So what’s up!”

 

She acted like she was really sorry but I knew the real her so that wasn’t getting to me at all.

 

Fred was sweating out of being very uncomfortable with Annabel there so he excused himself to the rest room.

 

“Hey Fred! Running stomach again? “I asked evily but he just nodded and left. Annabel continued,” I want us to hang out during the weekend,you know just

 

have fun. I’m bored at home always and I have no friends”.

 

I said in my mind,” I’m not weird! There’s someone else who’s got no friends”. Jessica said,”I can’t do Saturday. I’m going on a date with Fred and Stephanie’s is

going to babysit Nora”.

 

“Who’s Nora?” Annabel asked.

 

My little sister” Jes replied “How old is she?

 

“Eleven”.

 

“Fine,she can come along and bills on me. We’ll go grab ice cream at Cold stones” Annabel said

 

That’s cool, Nora loves cold stones,it’s like her 2nd favorite place in the world after the sitting room where she watches her favorite animated movies” we all laughed after Jessica said that.

 

She waved to us as her chauffeur came to pick her up after school.

 

I waited for Jessica to pick Nora so that we could go home together but I saw Nora’s face was gloomy.

 

Jes told me,” Nora was in a fight with her classmate”

 

I said in my mind, Fred vs Annabel and now Nora vs whomever. Wow today really was my day. I smiled.

 

Hey Nora,what happened?” I asked her.

 

“She’s very arrogant and so mean,she got me upset so I pushed her and we got into a fight” Nora said

 

” Who won” I asked

 

Jes cut in,”that’s not the best thing to ask her,are you encouraging her Steph?” Nora replied anyways,”Me”.

 

“Yay! Give me a high five” I told her.

 

“We’ll both of you were wrong,if she upsets you the best thing to do is to report to your teacher okay?”

 

Just then she saw Diane coming and the Diane waved to her to come.

 

 

Oh! Diane was the girl she got into a fight with So I let her go talk to her.

 

Diane said,” I’m sorry for being mean with you and getting into a fight with you” “Uhmm…. Okay Diane” Nora said and ran back to me “So what did she say” i asked Nora

 

“She apologized to me”

 

” Did you do the same?”

 

“No,was j supposed to?” Nora asked

 

“Of course Nora,she apologized cause she’s remorseful so you should do the same

 

and become friends again” I said.

 

“Wow! Adviser Stephanie!” Jes teased

 

“Shut up Jessica, I’m trying to bond with this girl” I said rolling my eyes.

 

Nora shouted,” Diane! Diane!” She walked up to her and apologized too and they both hugged.

 

“Wow! What did you do to my sister?” Jes asked confused but happy simultaneously.

 

“Just a little magic, I answered mischievously.

 

Nora ran back to me and said,” thanks Steph. We hugged each other and then Jes coughed. “Oh come here too Jessica”. We all hugged and then went back home. ****

 

It was a stressful but fun day at school but I was shocked as I got home.

 

It was Benjamin, I had forgotten about him. The house has been peaceful ever since he left.

 

I hugged him as he caressed my hair.

 

Just then I saw his girlfriend dressed in a seductive home we

 

ar coming out from the kids.

 

“What’s she doing here now Ben?”

 

“Does Mom know about this?”

 

“Calm down Steph! Mom’s not going to be around for a while. She has an event at Texas so she’s left. Don’t worry I’m just having a lecture free week so I’ll be gone by next week. She prepared some food so go eat”.

 

“I went to the kitchen and yea the food smelled nice so I dished out some and started eating.

 

“Oh now! You’re enjoying it?”

 

“Will you let me eat this food in peace or should I let it alone?”

 

“Oh welcome Savage Steph!” His girlfriend said but I just rolled my eyes
