John stood before Ana facing her like a couple who is ready to kiss the bride on the alter, his cute and round face showed how handsome he looked bit something was missing.

Derrick couldn’t help the situation, he began thinking of where to get the money from, the world was really turning against him but he still held fast to the word of God that says “With God all things are possible ” Derrick sat on the half wall of his apartment thinking of where to get tbe money from, he end up arriving at nowhere in particular.

Seeing Derrick left immediately after the so called John entered then I knew that something was wrong, something more important than Ana’s case, I watched him left hurriedly but not in anger showing me that it’s not all about Ana case but something more important than that, I felt like helping but I don’t know the main problem which I had to follow my mind.

 

“Ana I’ve missed you ” John said smiling

 

“I’ve missed you too John but…… She paused looking at him

 

“But what Ana ?he asked looking at Ana who was already looking sobber

 

 

“Just let me be!! She shouted and ran out remembering how Derrick left in anger all because of John.

 

John is Ana boyfriend ebony travelled out for a long time but does not care to called nor text her for her to be sure that he’s still alive. Most times he ignores Ana’s call without calling back, which saddened her heart.

I felt like not getting the money back from Derrick because of his background, but seriously I needed money to carry out my mission successfully. I heard him talking on phone like a man who has gotten the money already but deep down I know that he does not have the money and probably doesn’t know how to get it.

♥ DERRICK POV ♥

 

My heart broke when I saw and giving him more attention than me as if I’m nothing, but the worst came as a news to me that my younger brother is admitted in the hospital, as if that’s not enough Hansome called me to remind me of the depths I’m owing him, the world was already tired of me

 

I was lost in thought when I felt a soft and tender hand on my shoulder, I turned to see Rose smiling behind me which I tried to return back the smile.

 

“Hey Derrick what’s the matter,”? She asked as he kept mute without knowing what to say and where to start but he kept smiling as if nothing was wrong. More interesting stories available

“Rose why are you here “?he asked calmly

 

“What’s the matter with you Derrick? Is it about junior “? She asked and Derrick almost shouting out loud, how did she know about Junior’s condition what is really happening. Rose knew how he felt so she smiled.

 

 

“What did you just say “? Derrick asked

 

“Just go save the boy, he needs your help “She said holding his palms and before Derrick knew what was happening he felt money inside his palms, he opened it and was surprised.

 

“Rose……

 

“shhhhh don’t anything, just go and save the boy ” she said smiling as Derrick stood still without knowing what to do, he wasn’t expecting this from her but she just helped him which he won’t easily forget.

 

“Thank you Rose “he embraced her so tight

 

“No big deal ” she replied

♥ ANA POV ♥

 

I kept running on the street like someone who js newly possessed with the spirit of madness. The distance I’ve covered is something I can’t recall, I need to find Derrick, I need to tell him my feelings, I need to tell him I love him too, my heart is dying for his love, my soul is longing for his touch but I was so foolish not to admit it. Few minutes without seeing his cute face is like hell on earth to me. “Where’s Derrick? She asked

 

“Derricks is on his way to the hospital, he had an emergency call ” Rose replied while Ana stood there without knowing the next thing to do.

Back to the street where Derrick wad trekking since the distance to where to get cab heading to the hospital was not far, he was still walking when he heard collision sound of cars before him, he looked up in alert to see two cars damaged instantly and the worst part the car got an old man badly injured, people came out, they stood far from the scene, the old man was battling with blood, it filled his face while his body was badly damaged. Derick saw hiked just like others did he pitied him and walked away, but his instincts kept haunting him, he looked back to see the old man helpless, no one cared to help any of the accident victim, Derrick remembering that his brother is dying too in the hospital tried walking away but his mind wouldn’t allow him rest, so he rushed to the man running as if he has known him before immediately he got there, he squat down seeing the blood that covered the old man from head to toe, he had only gray hey on his head, otheres stood watching him as if he’s under punishment, he carried the man up, his eyes was close a bit and he couldn’t talk, Derrick quickly rushed, he got s cab and carried the man in heading to the hospital forgetting about his own brother. He kept glancing at the man to see if he’s still breathing inside the vehicle, finally they got to the hospital as he carried the man down like s bride holding him in his arms.

 

“Nurse! He shouted as they came out with stretcher rushing the man inside he hurried inside too, he stood there watching how the man was rolled into a ward where the doctor started his work immediately, forgetting about his very own blood brother he prayed in his heart that they both should be fine. Soon the doctor came out as he rushed him

 

“Doctor how’s he? He asked

 

” who are you referring to?

 

“The old man I just brought sir ” he replied

 

“Oh he’ll be fine,he needs some rest for now ”

 

“Thank you doctor, I’ll be back very soon. Let me go get some stuffs ” he said and hurried out of the hospital, taking a cab immediately heading to the hospital his father told him that junior is admitted. On getting there he paid the cab man and hurriedly rushed inside, on getting there he was directed to the doctor’s office where he saw the man in hjs office going through some files.

 

 

“Good afternoon sir ” he greeted

 

“Yes welcome ,how may I help you “?

 

“I’m here for Junior Eric. The boy that was admitted in your hospital some hours back ” Derrick said calmly.
