Ana finally entered the kitchen to her greatest surprise she found no one in the kitchen which made her wonder if he4 mistress was lying to her at that time, but her ineer mind kept telling her it’s not a joke.
She walked to the microwave, grabbed the food that was already packaged and walk out of the kitchen while her mind was still wondering if the Derrick her mistress was talking about is the same one she knows.
♥ DERRICK POV ♥
As I stood inside the kitchen after preparing the meal for the day, I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen but due to my rumbling stomach I ran to toilet to just calm down myself first before I digrace myself in presence of a stranger. I peeped through the toilet door, the image I saw looked just like Ana but noway she’s not even the one. I saw her looking so restless and her eyes scanning the whole kitchen as if he’s looking for something but then immediately I grabbed the door knob to come out, she also grabbed that other one and went out. I watched her from behind, everything about her is just like that of Ana which got me confused, I know perfectly well that it’s not Ana but I’m waiting for the right time to prove it.
Ana walked to the counter dropped the food and then do needful by giving the food it’s normal position before its being delivered to customers.
♥ ANA POV ♥
My heart skipped when I heard my mistress telling me to go get food from the chef called Derrick, I felt like I was about being raptured because of the name Derrick, my mind heart almost burst out, I didn’t even allow her to land tbe sentence as I hurried to the kitchen, to my greatest surprise I found no one in the kitchen ,my
mood changed, I looked around if I will see anyone but none was there. I quietly pick up the food sadly and walked out of the kitchen but I felt like I am being watched by someone.

The night was fast running and approaching 9:00pm the closing time for the day, Ana was about packing stuffs from outside just before closing, the sound of a driving that drove into the premises could be heard, as two black jeep came to a halt, Ana frowned he4 face knowing that’s another big work for her just to complete in a day and the worst part of it, her eyes met with Mike her greatest enemy walking with 3 of his friends towards the entrance of the restaurant.
“We’ve closed already today, please come back tomorrow “she said standing by the door so firmly
“Who is asking you what we know already, or is it because you have nothing doing at home to do that’s why you are here ranting yourr mouth “Mike said while the other ones laughed real hard as he pushed her away from the door walking inside, followed by his friends.
Miss Angelina heard the noise from where she was, she decided to witness what is happening outside,on getting there she found out that it was Mike one lf the person she has been expecting to come to her joint,she quickly walked to him.
“Mike, good evening “she greeted
“Angelina, who do you even brought out from the bush to work for you, she’s not s human being, imagine how she embarrassed me in before my friends ” Mike said out loud looking St Ana .
“Oh my mistake I’m sorry, Ana will you get in there and prepare the stuffs before I throw you out “? Miss Angelina said remembering her of her predicament, she has no one to defend her. She walked slowly to the kitchen.
“Sorry for that, what do you want to take “? She asked while they all choosed their order.
“I’ll be right back “she said and left.
Ana was standing in the kitchen when Miss Angelina walked in
“And do you know that money we will make this night because of those three guys?
“But ma’am my time for work has exhausted “she said frowning her face
“I know and I will see what I can do to that, now set the tray and everything, here is the order “she said handing over stuffs for her to took care of.
Ana finally round u everything, checking her time it was 9:54pm showing her how late she will wake up the next day. She carried the tray to Mike’s table, she dropped it down trying to walk away but Mike called her back.
“Is this how you serve customers in your dream “?he asked
“And what does that mean Mike? She replied him, one could easily seen anger too written all over her face.
“Oh you even have the guts to mention my name too enh “? Mike said and stood up, he grabbed her long hair dragging her as Ana winced in pain screaming.
“I’m your mate right for you to insult me, even in your next 10 generation note that you can’t even be like me dirty thing” Mike said still holding her hair tightly as the word sinked into Ana’s heart strucking her.
“Let go of me!! She shouted trying to free herself from his grin but it was not an easy thing. The pain was becoming unbearable for her.
“Let go of me please “she begged but Mike smiled without knowing the reason.
“Baby girl I can’t do that since you wanted to prove stubborn ” he said and tightened his grib on her as if she’s his maid.
“Let her go now! A deep and mighty voice sounded from the door which made all of them to look at the direction the voice came from including Ana, there stood Derrick in his chef clothe, his physical expression showed how angry he was.
“Oh my mistake, sorry I didn’t know the two idiots are working here, why nor come and be working for me jn the house I will pay you double “he said aloud while the friends laughed but Derrick wasn’t even smiling.
Ana couldn’t believe it, so it’s been Derrick all this while who has been making the meal deliciously and everything eatable, her heart gladens as she forget about the pains, allowing her heart to be at peace since she has found someone so important to her.
“My dear it’s not easy to be a servant to someone, so calm down ” Mike said while Derick tightened his fist in anger walking slowly towards him like an army trying to fight his opponent with bare hands.
“Do you know who you are talking…….
Before Arnold one of Mike’s friend could finish his speech, a heavy punch caught him unaware on the nose as he fell down groaning in pains, blood started coming out of his nose. Derrick’s eye were focused on Mike and he looked frightened including his two other friends who kept mute instantly.
“Let her go now ” Derrick said walking to Mike who tactically threw Ana to the floor and In the process landed a heavy punch on Derrick’s face catching him unaware, Derrick stood up from the floor cleaning the blood that came out from hie nose, he sent Mike to the ground Witt a super punch as he winced in pain too.
Mike’s two other friends ran to him on the floor in fright.
“Sorry dude ”
“Let me be! He shouted pushing them to the floor.
“What’!? Miss Angelina shouted when she came out to witness the incident.
“Oh no Derrick, Ana what’s the meaning of this? She asked in anger
“Ma’am he started it first ……
Before she could even say anything a hot slap landed on her left cheek but miss Angelina making her to hold her cheek in pain.
“Next time you try this you are doom, now apologize to him ” she commanded
“What? They both shouted in unison
“Yes do that now “she ordered
“I’m so sorry ma’am I can’t do it “Derrick said angrily and left. He walked directly into the kitchen and changed his clothes, picked his bag and Walked out of the building while they all watch him.
“Ehh wait!! Ana shouted running to him as he stopped on his tracks without looking at her.
“Derrick why are you avoiding me “? She asked
“Because I hate you ” Derrick replied without looking at her as he heart began burning in pain, her heart shattered, her tears gland activated, as she wiped the tear away running out from him holding her head.
Derrick sigh and left without looking back as Ana ran to the nearby pillar crying
her heart out.
