I covered my mouth in shock,i couldn’t believe it,i looked at her and she was so terrified….
Me:what in the hell are you doing with a clear blue?
Her:i can explain
Me:good, start now
Her:it’s not mine,my friend asked me to keep it for her,she’ll come pick it up later..
Me:you think am stupid?
Her:no,am telling you the truth.
Me:now tell me,are you still a virgin?

Me:granny told me about your behaviour lately,what’s going on with you? Her:i don’t know what you talking about
Me:ohhh Honey, i think you know exactly what am talking about, i wasn’t born yesterday, I’ve been a teenager myself..
Her:and look where that got you,dating a married man,kicked out,went to play wifey,should i continue? (I lost it and slapped her so hard across the face) Me:how dare you..

Me:fine,but am keeping this and tell me when your friend arrive to collect it..
I left her room and i was fuming, how dare she judge me with my past,yes i made a lot of mistakes before and am not proud of it but i was trying to live a better life,i got in my room,closed the door, threw myself on my bed and i took out the kit and read it,i knew something was wrong with my sister, she was either pregnant or she was just being a nuisance nje.i sat down and thought of a plan to get her tested and one person came to my mind Danny Khuzwayo..I took my phone tried to call him
but it was off so i left a message…later her friend came to collect the clear blue but i wasn’t convinced by her little act i just knew she was lying for her friend… .

The following day i woke up had breakfast with granny,cleaned the house,i took a shower and i went to florida hospital to see Doc Khuzwayo, i arrived the and walked past the pharmacy and someone called me,i turned around and guess who was it,Leroy..lord i wasn’t in the mood for his silly obsession, he came and he was all smiles and i faked the biggest one on earth,i must say he was really looking good the uniform suited him well,he gave me a tight hug,damn he was smelling so good…
Lee:wow am happy to see you,how are you?
Me:(smiles)am good and you
Lee:am good,been a while
Me:yeah,i didn’t know you were working here now.
Lee:i got a job as a pharmacist.
Me: good for you,where’s your wife and your child?
Lee:(sad face)she’s home and our baby unfortunately he died after birth..
Me:(my heart sank)ohh my god,am so sorry,what happened?
Lee:he was tired and Edna was too weak to push.
Me:am really sorry i didn’t know,am gonna go check her..
Lee:okay, anyways how have you been,Rick told me you broke up and i was very happy not because you were hurt but because he doesn’t deserve you,you deserve someone who will treat you like the queen that you are.. Me:which means i deserve you?

appointment.

Me:no am not sick.
Lee:oh ma god thula,keng,you pregnant?
Me:what?are you crazy hell no,i just need some advice on something..
Lee:(sigh)yoh i almost had a heart attack.
Me: heart attack for what?
Lee:let me walk you to his office..phela you never know some guys don’t waste time.
Me:mxm ay suka.
We both laughed, it was really great to see him again although he still thinks him
and i will be together one day but i was really hurt to know that their baby died,no
parent deserve to go through the losing a child pain..we arrived in Doc’s office he
knocked and entered,i stayed outside..
Lee:morning doc
Dee:morning Matlala
Lee:someone is here to see you
Dee: i can’t see them now,i have patients to attend to,they’ll have to wait until am done..
Lee:she said she just need 5minutes of your time that’s why i brought her. Dee:she?
Lee:yes sir,her name is Nokthula..
Dee:(happy and forgot about the “patients”) why didn’t you say so,show her in. Lee;come in Thula…(i got in and greeted Dan,Lee left)
Dee:i got your message, i was gonna come later,are you okay..
Me:am fine,just that i need your help about my sister.
Dee:what’s wrong with her.
Me:i think she’s pregnant but she doesn’t want to admit it.
Dee:so,you want me to test her?
Me:yes,but she shouldn’t know.
Dee:is that even possible maThumbela?
Me:you’re a doctor am sure you can come up with something.
Dee:(laughed)you serious?
Me:(smile)yes am desperate
Dee:you don’t have to say.anyways i’ll see what i can think of then get back to you.

Me:you don’t have to come all the way for an update you can do that over the phone.
Dee:okay you got me,that just an excuse to see you. Me:what is your wife or girlfriend gonna say about that?

Me:(shyly)no,am just making sure am not stepping on someone’s territory.
Dee:(laughed) trust me you won’t.

Dee:bye…
I left his office and he took out his phone and called his friend,i was busy pressing my phone when someone bumped into me and my phone fell,i went down picked my phone and i stood up,there she was standing, staring at me.i knew she did that on purpose…
Me:(angrily) and then?why did you do that?,
Her:(attitude) maybe you need to start looking where you going to instead of whatsapping.
Me: don’t patronise me because we both know you did that on purpose.
Her:maybe,actually am happy to see you just to share the goodnews with you,we
are pregnant….
