Ife pov

 

‘My best friend just took my first kiss,’ I thought.

 

I pulled away from d kiss and looked at him.

 

He was already sleeping.

 

Oh my god, what is dis?

 

I took my bag and left his house.

 

I arrived home late around 8, thankfully my parent were not yet at home.

 

I went to my room, took off my uniform and went to d shower.

 

I just can’t take my mind off d kiss.

 

Will he remember dat he kissed me, and if he did what will happen? “Oh god,” I said using my head to hit d bathroom wall.

 

 

Victor pov

 

I opened my eyes when I heard ife left d house.

 

What I have I done, I should have controlled myself.

 

How I am going to face her, I was just curious to know how it feels.

 

What kind of friend kiss his friend especially when he has a girlfriend.

 

A jerk probably.

 

“How I am going to face her tomorrow?” I said punching my bed.

 

“I was just too curious,” I said rubbing my face.

 

 

Ife pov

 

 

My parent arrived late yesterday, I went downstairs and met them arguing but they stopped when they saw me.

 

This is d first time, I saw them arguing.

 

“Is everything Ok?” I asked.

 

“Nothing,” my dad said and picked up his suit case and head out.

 

“Mom,” I called.

 

“It is nothing,” she said.

I arrived at d school early.

 

 

I was on my way to the class when I heard some voices in d toilet like someone moaning.

 

“Jeez,” I said and went to my class.

 

The toilet and classroom were a bit close.

 

I put my bag on my seat.

 

I left the class when I saw Esther coming out of d toilet adjusting her skirt.

 

“Hi,” she greeted me and went to her class.

 

Lekan also came out. Lekan is one of the big boys in class, but so dull.

 

“Hi big mole,” he said and entered d class.

 

‘Ok, what just happened’ I thought.

 

“Assembly time,” the time keeper said ringing d bell.

 

Going out, I bumped into Vic.

 

We stood silent starring at each other.

 

“Hi,” he said breaking d awkward silent.

 

“Hi,” I respond.

 

And we stood silent again.

 

“Are u going to keep standing there or go to the assembly line,” Mr bolaji said interrupting d moment.

 

“Ok,” I said and left for d assembly ground.

After we were done with d assembly, I went to Vic.

 

I have to confront him about yesterday’s kiss.

 

“Hey,” I said.

 

“Yes,” he replied.

 

“Can we talk?” I asked.

 

“Sure,” he said but he didn’t stand up from his seat. Where he is seated with Esther.

 

“U might not want a third party to hear about this,” i said while Esther frowned.

 

“I have nothing to hide,” he said.

 

“Yes, say what u want to say” Esther said.

 

“Never mind,” I said and went to my seat.

 

“Fuck him and his girlfriend,” I said crying.

 

But what was Esther and lekan doing in the toilet together.

 

Is it what am thinking?.

 

The principal entered with a guy behind him.

 

I quickly wipe my tear, I didn’t want anyone to see me crying.

 

“This is a new student,” d principal said.

 

“My name is junior,” he said smiling.

 

“Nice to meet u,” he said and winked at me.

 

 

Or was it my thought.

 

He was handsome and had a cute face, I don’t know who was more handsome between him and Vic.

 

“U are wlc,” june one of d bitch in our class said.

 

“Care to say ur name once again handsome,” she said while d guy smiled.

 

“Shut up June,” the principal said.

 

“Since u are new here, I will gave u d grace to pick ur seat mate,” d principal said.

 

June and some girls quickly adjusted themselves while d guy smiled at them.

 

‘Just another jerk looking for attention,’ I thought and put my head on my locker.

 

He probably won’t come to my seat, after all who will want to sit with me.

 

Someone knocked on my table and I raised my head.

 

“Can I be ur new seatmate,” he said and offered his hand for a shake.

 

“A new seatmate?” I asked surprised.

 

“Yes,” he said and smiled revealing his perfect white teeth.

 

“Sure,” I said and took his hand.

 

“Thanks,” he said and sat.

 

June and d girls gave me a scary look.

 

“Enjoy ur day then,” the principal said and left.

 

“Thanks for accepting me,” he said again.

 

 

“No problem,” I said.

 

“My name is junior ayobami, what is urs?” He asked.

 

“Ife oluwabori,” I said.

 

“Nice name for a beautiful girl,” he said while I blushed.

 

First time a guy called me beautiful.

 

“Thanks for the compliment, even though it was a lie,” I said.

 

“Am not lying, u are d most beautiful girl in d school” he said and I smiled again.

 

I looked around bcos I felt someone gaze was on me.

 

I saw vic looking at me and the guy.

 

His looks scared me.

 

He looked angry.

 

“Tell me about yourself,” junior said drawing me from my thoughts. Vic pov

 

I saw the way d new guy was talking to ife and the way she was smiling. She has never smiled dat way.

 

Seeing her smile to a new guy makes me angry and sick.

 

She has never smiled to me like dat before.

 

Seems like dis new guy is a threat.

 

A threat to my relationship with ife.

 

 

A threat I must get rid of.
