That familiar tune woke me up from my nap, I check up on my bed to see my phone ringing, it was Nelson Calling me, I picked up at the second ring of the phone.

Whoa, I was happy for my friend. Immediately I dropped the call, I swiped through my phone, and headed straight for my CAPS, and right there it was bold and clear, You have been offered admission to study MicroBiology, in the university of Benin, Accept Or Decline offer! Oh My God, is this real for the moment, I was high in enthusiasm, i Carefully accepted the offer from Jamb, before screaming the hell out in Joy, the scream was followed by the resounding noise of falling plates and cutlery! From the kitchen, And just them my room door swung open, and my mum came in with an alarmed look,

Mom: what is it son?

Me: Mom guess what, i said keeping her in suspense, and the alarmed look on her face was replaced with a frown!

Mom: Just because you want me to guess that is making you pull down the roof with you scream?

Me: No mom ok come lemme whisper it in your ears. I said giving her a reassuring smile. And she came closer, and I shoved in my phone right on her face, for her to see herself!

Mom: Whoaaaa she scream! You did it boy! You did it, she said out after perusing the contents of the phone, I could tell she was proud of me.

She gave me her praises, and all that before she left the room, soon I heard her calling my sister

Cathy, to tell her of my achievement. I was so glad, i wasn’t left out in the calling too i called

Nelson My friend and let him in on my own share of good news, we both na paddy!

Josh! Josh!! Josh!!! I heard My name and i ran downstairs, from my room.

Mom: Have you called your dad?

Me: No mama!

Mom: ok!

Me: What mama? Isn’t it time you both put aside your malice, and live on as couples?

Soon Dad Came back from work, he threw his briefcase right on the cushion, opposite the one i sat to watch the preplanned drama. But when she said ‘‘Hello Honey’’ he was taken aback, and turned quickly to see where the voice was coming from. Oh! His dear wife, he was surprised, but mom rushed up embraced him, and told him how sorry she was. He accepted her with open arms, it soon ‘metamorphose’ into a romantic something, and i looked away! All i heard was sounds of kisses, and i smiled, this two are highly inseparable, so those of you that use to say african parents don’t kiss in front of their kids well mine will disappoint you. They are actually kissing as we speak now (wink)

You wanna know what brought the fight? ‘It started when mum forced dad to follow her down to her village to see her mom, but he declined saying he won’t be available, because of busy schedule, and mom flared up! She later went to the village alone, and kept the malice even after she returned, dad made an attempt to talk to her, but she gave no listening ear’ so i guess poor man would have been extremely surprised when she called him this evening.

Soon we sat to eat dinner, and she asked me to pop the second surprise which i did, the reaction i saw on my old man’s face was what gave me Joy, he patted me and told me to wait for a surprise,

Dad: it runs in the family boy! You are a scholar Just like me (Yinmu ) He said, I nearly burst in laughter, but i had to curtail it, the reason why is that of a true my dad is a scholar, in fact he is a medical doctor, BUT!!! He was very strict, and this is the first time he will be telling me such,

that’s why i had the urge to laugh, because it was funny to me! I only manage to say ‘a thank you dad’ amist laughter.

Oya na My prologue is turning something else. But You see that sweet Life above, it came to a stop when I finally entered the university.

I became someone else, something else (I became the green arrow ) University, showed me the other side of life, and it affected my family stability, I became a cultist.

Cultism is bad. Say no to it, shun it, flee from it, avoid bad company, do anything Just to be free from cultism. It’s evil, it’s Just a means which the devil, use in getting blood, through clashes and blood spree.
