Grandma eyes turned dark after receiving a phone call. She was not in a good mood. Leonel’s mother walked to her.
“Mother….” she said giving a lovely smile.
“Oh dear you’re here….” Grandma said
“Yes grandma…I….I was wondering if you have seen or heard from Leonel?” she asked looking sad
“Why?” Grandma was already not in a good mood.
“Well I….I heard he was married….and the girl is not Rose….I was wondering if…..she can make him come back to his senses and come home” she said and granny nodded.
“Leon loves that little lad alot they’ll be home this Xmas….be good to her okay?” granny said and she nodded and smiled brightly.
Leon was trying to keep the news from me but I’ve already heard it from Sasha. Sasha has been my little spy ever since I left the hospital.
“Honey you’ve been holding my phone and preventing me from watching the new…why?” I asked.
“Nothing” he said and smiled
“Keep that smile away….I know you’re hiding something…..is it about Rose?” I said and he frown
“No….” he said
“Leon….it’s okay….I know…” I said and he looked at me.
“Know what?” he asked trying to be cool and calm.
“That the media have it that I did an abortion” I said and he gave me a surprising look.

said and his face was sad.
“I have a great husband what more can I ask for?… Leonel am strong now….
can we stop hiding things from
each other?” I asked and he cup my cheeks.

” he said

I cry because you have a shoulder I’ll cry and lean on…
if am hurting…it won’t hurt too
much because I know you’re here with me. I love you Leonel” I said and he looked deep at me again before he finally say.
“What did I do to deserve such an amazing wife?, am so blessed to have you and I love you and love you so much…..” he said and kissed me before I could respond…..he broke the kiss and smiled.
“No more secrets……” he said.
“What’s your greatest secret?” I asked as he carried me and place me gently on the bed.
“Let’s take it slow…okay?” he asked as he lay on the other side of the bed.
“Let’s talk about your family then” o said and he drag me head to his chest.
“They suck….Well dad is the busy business man type, Mom is the over caring type big brother is the bossy type
and second brother is a big bully” he said
“Just that?” I asked and he kissed my hair.
“Back to you….who was your first love?” he asked, I could sense the anger and jealousy in his question.
“Ryan” I said and I felt his breath grow wide.
“Okay your turn” he said.
“Well my next question is about Rose….how did you get to know her and love her that much”
“She saved my life back in the States….back then dad never have hope in me….he gave all the companies authority to second brother….he said I was just an extra to him…..I was hurt…you know back then this husband of yours was really a big ass……Back then I thought he hate me but he was only trying to open my
eyes….to see what’s ahead but I was too blind to see it….so I decided to end my life…..I cut my wrist and dive
into a sea…….” he said and my memory seems to remember an event like that, tears filled my eyes…. could it
be him?, I swim to save a boy who was wearing a black expensive suit and told the other young lady in the stream to call for help. Well I gave him the CPR he woke up and that was how the ambulance took him away with the young miss…. could it be him………?
Leon felt his chest wet.
“Kitten….why are you crying?” he asked as he raised me up and look at me
“Nothing just continue the story please” I said and he nodded.
“I woke up in the hospital…she was by my side…she never left me….she saved me life and took care of me with her grandmother……” Leon felt bad seeing Gem crying continuously.
“That….that day….the day you drown….where you wearing a black and expensive suit?” I asked and he nodded. “Wait….” I said and left the bed….I started searching for something….Leon watch me confused. I
found my old box I brought out the broken wristwatch from it…..I showed it to him not saying a word but just
crying.
“Oh….this…..it belongs to my grandfather…. grandma gave it to me and it pained me when I lost it…….wait….why do you have this?” he asked
“It’s was on the 3rd of August…..after a long rainy day….I saw a handsome guy jumb into the deep
sea…….thank God I could swim….. everything hasitate to save him because it was too cold that day….I watch
him go down…..until I didn’t know what moved me and I dive after him……I caught his hands but it slip off and
I was holding the watch….I place the watch in my pocket and swim after him….I grab him and pull him out of the sea…..I told the lady to call an ambulance…..I was so cold….after giving him a CPR I ran back home to change but he was gone in an ambulance….” I said and is eyes was red.
“I…..I remember……I remember…..it was you…..it was your face I saw!!!” he said and I nodded.
“You were the boy I saved from the sea” I said
“So…it was you and not Rose?, she lied…….she dare lie and deceive me!!!!!………….” Leon yelled…..,………..
