that’s the reason I came by… I can’t work myself for this party only for you to crash
it down like you always have a tendency for..”I spoke harshly
“I still can’t stand your arrogance.. But I’ll try because this party means alot to your
bestie..”he smiled…
A fake smile…
“You did a great job brother”he patted my back with a warm smile creeping from
his stern face….
“You should smile often brother…”I teased him…
“It looks good on you” I spoke sincerely..
“I’ll try”he replied and walked away from me..
He wasn’t sassy with me.. I’m glad we are getting along gradually…
I stopped the waitress grabbing a glass of wine from her tray and drown it down
happily…
The cup slipped from my hand as I heard several gun shots…
A loud piercing screen from a very familiar voice…
Stanley!!!!!
I rushed to the direction which his voice came out from..
People were rushing out from there…
I struggled my way in..
As I heard another loud gun shot..
I saw one of our bodyguard groaning in pain…
“Toni!!!!!”I rushed to him..
“Ma’am was shot!!!”he choked out…
I left him as I struggled inside…
I halted!!!!!
“Call 911 again!!!!” Finn shouted at someone…
Stanley was holding her tight in his arms…
I rushed to him..
I touched her palm to inspect if there’s any pulse left…
Damn it!!!!
“I can’t find a pulse”I shouted in panic…
I could hear the loud uneven throbbing of my heart..
Stanley standing up lifting her in his arms..
I assisted him as we carried her outside…
Finn by passed us running ahead of us….
When we reached the parking sprot…
Finn’s car was waiting for us…
Stanley carried her inside and I head towards the drivers door the Same Time as
Finn…
“I’m driving”I barked..
“No!!!!”I interjected…
“Damn it!!! Finn… Let Ted drive this damn car.. Or I swear if she dies on me…
You and your family dies with her”Stanley threatened….
Finn backed away as I entered inside the car…. I zoomed off before he could enter..
He’s in shock…
I watched from my side mirror as he entered another car…
I increased my speed as I glanced at my lifeless bestie in my brother’s lap…
“Concentrate brother and go faster”he shouted at me…
I’ve never seen him like this…
Not even when his favorite dog and my beloved buddy (Mark or sill as I named
him) died…
I never knew my dog sill died of food poisoning.. My mother replaced sill with
Mark and told Stanley that his dog died… Mark and I were inseparatable.. Stanley
was devastated.. I decided to share the dog with him.. Until on day when Mark met
with an accident all because of my foolish and careless sister Elena…
Mark did not make it…
During his burial mom accidentally spilled the truth…
Stanley was broken sad and angry and so was I… Since that day Stanley and I
couldn’t stand each other…
I blamed myself for everything that happened to Mark as much as I blamed my
sister Elena… During a duel with Stanley I found out that Mark was actually my
own dog and Stanley swapped them because he liked my dog better…
I hated him for that
He always end up sharing what’s mine or rather taking it away from me…
The only thing he hasn’t taken away from me is Eliska…
But his reaction and threat towards Finn..
I’m becoming suspicious of him…
I pulled away in front of the hospital….
I assisted him to carry Lily out of the car… He lifted her in his arms and rushed
inside the hospital…
I ran along beside him as we yelled at the nurses…
Soon she was carried inside the emergency room as one fu.cking nurse slammed the
door at us….
“She’s a fighter!!!!”I breathed out… Hoping to convince myself…
Stanley relaxed on the door staring inside the room…
He closed his eyes as tears roll down his face…
My breathing hitched up as I saw tears from his eyes…
Using his blood stain hands to wipe his tears as he turned his face away…
This is more than a silly crush he made me to believe…
Could he truly be in love with her…????
Finn, Daniel and Joanna rushed towards us…
Before Jasper, Pedro, Oskar and Seppe hurried inside…
Jasper has an injury on his arm…
The four of them stood at the door of Lily’s ward…
“Did you catch anyone???” I asked the bodyguards
“We have one of them alive but badly injured.. the rest of them dead”Seppe
replied…
“After she wakes up.. You take me to that bastard”I ordered him and he nods…
I walked over to Stanley… He noticed my presence but did not turn around…
“She’s a fighter” Daniel muttered…
As Joanna hugged him tightly…
“I hope she makes it out alive”Finn spoke up and Stanley turned around…
I grabbed his clenched fist… And he turned to look at me… I hugged him…
“Don’t fight!!!!”I whispered…
“I’m trying to conceal it but I can’t stand him”he whispered back…
“She took his damn bullet…”he whispered but I could feel his body vibrating…
“Where’s my daughter???”Rocky shouted…
We pull away…
“Where is my baby girl???”Rocky asked again in tears.. Nanny Sheila is holding
her tightly…
“She’s a fighter mom”Daniel answered and Rocky burst into tears…
UNKNOWN (HARS) POV
“Still no words from the boys???”I barked at my chief bodyguards
“No Sir!!!”he replied
“Boss.. I’m sure the job was successful.. I told them not to contact us until after a
few days after he’s being buried” Pat my PA spoke up and I slammed my hands on
my desk..
“Why will you do that??? Haven’t I warned you never to take a step without
involving me the decision maker..????”I questioned her in anger..
And she fidget…
“Boss!!! You were too busy when I came to inform you that I made a few changes”
“You little bitch!!!”I shouted…
“If they came here or contacted us.. you might end up being arrested… He’s the
governor’s son sir.. He’ll move the Earth to find his son’s assassin…”Pat explained
She’s right..
Why didn’t I think of that…???
“I’m impressed!!!”I said calmly…
“Thank you boss…”
“Sir.. why don’t we switch on the TV.. The news must be on air”my chief
bodyguard Maxwell spoke up…

“Of course it did… Because Finn Thomas is alive and unharmed while my jackpot
Eliska took his damn bullet”I shouted.. Pat immediately switched off the TV
“At least… All the boys are Dead” Pat whispered…
“There’s no suspect who would confess a word to the cops.. is a thing of joy” Pat
smiled…

Something is not right… Why do I feel like a part of me is leaving me…???

“Something is missing from me.. A big part of me”I groaned in pain..

I struggled closer to Stanley as mom and Raissa assisted me…
When I reached him.. he held me…
“You cared and you just stood here???”I asked
“It’s a promise not to leave her side brother”he answered
“Better don’t break the promise”I smiled..
“Ahhhhh!!!!”I shouted..
He stared at me holding me tightly for a while before his worried Expression
slowly turned into something else..
Fear!!!!
“She’s important Hughhh”I asked even though I somehow know the answer
“She’s important to you… Protecting her is like redeeming for my sins… It’s my
way of appologizing for swapping your dog”he replied…
Ooohhh… Not what I expected but it’s better..
I thought he was in love with her…
“I forgive you”I whispered as the dizziness increased…
The door swinged open…
As nurses walked out before the doctor walked out… His facial expression is
scaring me…
Dizziness increased again… I don’t even know who was busy asking him question
but the only I heard him say was…
“I’m sorry… But we couldn’t save her” and I blacked out…
