Lady Katherine’s POV

I sat in my chamber as my maiden in line tended to me. Tonight is the feast and am going to have the king for myself.

 

“You’re looking beautiful mi Lady” Blair said as I scoffed.”I was never ugly” I stood up, grabbed my beautifully adorned mask and walked out of the chamber.

 

Tonight,his pet is going to know her place and that is on the floor while I stay

 

seated beside him.

Everyone bowed the minute I walked in as several young lasses ran up to me, sprinkling some flowers on me.

 

Yeah this is what I like, attention, their love……I walked over to the Royal seats and found only one……..

 

Don’t tell me he wants to disgrace me in front of all these people,I looked around, noticing the faces of people as two guards walked up to me.

 

“Yer grace, your seat is beside your father,the king wants to have the Royal arena for himself” as he spoke,the door opened revealing the new pet as she walked in, raising her head high with a daring look.

 

She doesn’t behave like a slave,the king has really changed,he needs to tame his

 

pets,how can she…..

 

My thoughts were interrupted by the cheers and grumbling from some people.

 

King Damien walked in with Alexa by his side,she even had the guts to put on a tiara, she’s not even a lady!!!

 

I became furious all of a sudden as rage shot through my veins. He chose to disgrace me in the worst way ever,I need to seek help from someone, anyone.

 

I scanned the room and my eyes locked with that of a young lady,her orbs looks familiar but I couldn’t place where I’ve seen her.

 

 

She dashed out of the room as my feet carried me after her. It just felt like a spell,we walked out of the castle,down the guards stands and finally we got to the stable.

 

“I see you’ve not changed Katherine” the voice I remembered said,the voice which I never wanted to hear…….that demonic voice.

 

She changed into her real form and pointed her staff at me. “You and your sick father tried getting rid of Alisha, but you know what,she has the powers you fail to posses as my daughter, you chose the vampires over the demonic clan……Alisha is

 

alive and in your midst, she’ll take what was rightfully hers and you’ll remain in your place which is the slumps,gutters…..” She said as I cursed the day I found out

 

she’s my mother.

 

Yeah Alisha and I are sisters but she’s younger,and has a different father who’s the king of the demonic clan.

 

She hid her powers from everyone including Damien but of course my dad wanted me to get married to the king so he forced her to reveal her powers in front of everyone.

 

He even casted a silver lining in Damien’s father and mother to make them weak before threatening to kill them if they don’t grant his wish.

 

“Don’t think am scared of you mother,am not am ready for you and your demonic daughter…….this time around, she’ll die and nothing not even you will stop it” with that,I turned and walked back to the castle.

Alexa’s POV

So many eyes were fixed on me as I sat next to king Damien,my heart beat was extremely fast and I noticed some envious glares from young ladies and lustful looks from the men in the ball room.

 

 

“Are you nervous?” King Damien asked as I nodded. “Don’t be, everything will be okay” he assured, squeezing my fingers as I sighed

 

“Mi Lord,it’s time for the feast” Lord Bennett said, casting me a dubious glance which sent shivers down my spine. Why’s he so cold towards me? What exactly did I do wrong?

 

I noticed the vampires in the room moving towards a door behind the dancing stage as king Damien stood up.

 

“I’ll be right back,this is really important” he said and walked towards the room.

I wonder what they’re going to do inside, maybe it’s sucking of blood.

 

I walked round the room as several human slaves danced and did other things for fun.

 

“Hi, you must be Alexa” a lady asked as I nodded and looked around. I didn’t even know the time we got home,all i know Is that this place was secluded.

 

“Yes,who are you?” I asked, looking at her as her eyes darkened. “Am Damien’s new pet and I’ll advise you to just die or else you won’t live to testify” she threatened and suddenly her words sounded familiar, like I’ve heard it before but i can’t place it anywhere, suddenly,my head began to spin as my vision became blurry before I knew it,I collapsed on the floor. ..

Gwen’s POV

“That’s what you get for standing in my way” I muttered, pulling her with her hair as I looked around to make sure no one was watching.

 

I can’t jeopardize my plans,the king has refused to turn her over for killing but I’ll gladly cast a spell on the people of zikia, tomorrow she’ll thrown in dungeon.

 

 

I placed her on the floor, drawing a circle with a white chalk as the room began to shake.

 

What’s going on? What’s happening? A white smoke moved out of her body as she jerked awake with black eyes.

 

No don’t tell me, don’t tell me she’s Alisha? No……. I gave her powers back to her

 

instead of killing her

 

“No…… you’re not supposed to be here,no you’re not supposed to have your powers

 

now” I screamed at her as she stood up,her hair had suddenly grown longer and I could feel the powers radiating from her body as she walked closer to me.

 

“You took my powers away but I changed my look,I also lost my memories but I’ve got it back and you’re forgetting something” she said, marching forward as I fell to my feet.

 

“Am sorry mistress, your wish is my command” I said as she laughed hysterically.

 

“Gwen you never change, once a slave always a slave, you thought you could kill me? You even attempted it because I never liked you,yes I was sent to kill the vampire king but I fell in love with him and you took it upon yourself to destroy me? Why? My father let me be yet you tried to take my life? Well it’s good,I have a new body but am still your queen no longer a princess and I demand respect, you may go until I send for you” she dismissed me as I scurried away. ..

Alexa’s/Alisha’s POV

Now I understand why this place looked familiar and why everyone and everything looks familiar.

 

Well am going to visit my step father, but in a special way and as for Katherine,she can never be a queen but I’ve been royalty from birth……and will remain till I die…. ..
