I snuggled to my blanket as the rain hit the shutters, making strange noises. I don’t know why,but I feel strange……, suddenly I began to shiver as cold coursed through my body.

 

I sat up on the bed and looked through the window,a Lady stood far away, looking into my chamber as I gasped but I wasn’t scared.

 

Who could she be and why’s she staring at me? These questions roamed my mind as I stood up and walked to the window.

 

The wind began to howl…….as leaves flew from one place to the other. I felt a

 

heavy thud to my head as I fell to the floor. The next moment,I was teleported to

 

another world or should I say realm.

“They’re here, they’ll try to take your place but I won’t let it happen, she’ll

 

try……yes she’s a woman bear this in mind, don’t let the new pet close to the king,

 

she’s your doom……. she’ll find every means to hurt you,if possible kill you,……it’s

 

a warning my child”

 

 

“Alexa,Alexa” I heard a voice calling my name as I……. slowly came back to my senses.

 

I was already on the bed and king Damien was leaning over me. “What happened?” I asked, brushing my hair backwards as he furrowed his brows.

 

“I should be asking you that question,i walked in and found you slumped on the floor,what happened?” He asked, brushing my hair aside as his gaze settled on my face.

 

“I just lost balance and fell” I lied as he chuckled. “Do you know we’re connected now? ” He asked, getting into bed with me as I shivered.

 

“Yes,” I replied as he nodded. “So quit lying to me,i know there’s more to it” he said as I frowned.

 

“Okay I passed out and I don’t know the reason” I replied truthfully,not adding the vision or warning I saw.

 

“I’ll send the mid wife to check you in the mourn” he said, pulling me to his side as

 

we laid down.

Lady Katherine’s POV

“Mi Lady,the seamstress just delivered your dress, would you like to try it on?” Blair asked as I scoffed.

 

“I know it’ll be my size and beautiful, for now, I’ve got to be somewhere” with that,I walked out of my chamber, heading to the slaves room. ..

 

..

 

“Arise Lady Katherine arrives” father exclaimed as the captives stood up, looking, bowing slightly.

 

 

I walked majestically to the Royal seats and took my place as the door opened again, revealing king Damien in his beautifully adorned Royal garment.

 

I can’t help but fall in love with him each day…… he’s got what I want in a man and

 

am going to pursue until he’s mine.

King Damien’s POV

I took my seat and looked around,I didn’t want to waste time here because Alexa didn’t look well before I left her chamber.

 

I scrutinized the room and my gaze landed on a tiny framed lady. She had the

 

brownest orbs I’ve ever seen and she looks strange…..

 

I pointed my hands towards her as the vampires cheered. “Since the king has chosen a pet,we demand that the old one be brought to judgement” someone shouted from the crowd as I stood up.

 

“It’s too sudden, I’ve chosen a pet but she’s not going to be in use until am tired

 

of………my old one,I shall hear of this matter no more” with that,I walked out of the

 

slaves room as angry glares followed me.

Alexa’s POV

After the check up,I felt better and went back to my vision from earlier on. Maybe I should have gone out and asked that lady who she is,am sure she knows me.

 

The door opened, revealing five maidens with smiles on their faces as i cocked my brows.

 

“There’ll be a feast Tonight,we got an order from the king to make you the most beautiful lady in the whole of zikia” one said as I blushed and fidgeted with my fingers.

 

 

“It’s alright to fall in love with him, we’re humans too,we weren’t picked as pets so we ended up working for the Royal family” another said as my eyes grew wide.

 

“But my death awaits me” I said as they looked at themselves. “No…… he’ll protect

 

you, we’re certain” they chorused as I sighed.

Gwen’s POV

I smiled, looking around. All my plans has fallen into place,now I can finally take my revenge on Alisha for……. betraying the demon clan, she’s a disgrace to us.

 

I know she’s in zikia but I have to search well,she deserves to die,die like the coward she is and for the king, he’ll be dancing to my tune,so dumb for making me his pet…….

 

(Laughing hysterically……….as lightening flashes in the air)
