Some days later Anne decided to talk to Rick.
Anne
“Hey Rick,long time,
Rick
“Anne,I told you to stop calling me,huh
Anne
“How do you expect me to stop calling ,I want to see my daughter
Rick
“Oh you don’t have a daughter, and she is fine without you,ok Anne
“Why say so,Rick it’s years now,how long will you keep my daughter away from me,huh
you can’t do this you know,
Rick
“Melissa I fine without you,ok she can’t be with a mother like you, Anne
“I know she is fine without me,but I need to see her please,Rick Rick
“She doesn’t want a mother like you are,
Anne
“Am a changed woman now Rick please.
Rick
“Don’t call me again,do you understand
Anne
Then you will give me no choice than to go to your house,I want to see Melissa Rick
“You wouldn’t dare try that, huh He said and hanged up on Anne.
“You can’t seperate me from my daughter,you gave me no choice am going to your house,she said to herself.
THAT SAME DAY IN THE AFTERNOON
Anne arrived at Rick’s house,she entered the compound looking for Melissa,she met flora instead.
Flora
“Hey ,who are you and why are you looking at me that way, huh
Anne
“You are not Melissa right,
Flora
“No am not,who are you??
Anne
“Am Anne , Melissa’s mother”, she said smilling a bit
Flora
“Oh you are the whore my mother was talking about,
Anne
“I beg your pardon, don’t talk to me like that young lady,
Flora
“You wanted to steal my father from my mother,huh you this devil woman
Anne
“Oh I get,you are meserable and foolish like your mother”, she spat angrily
Flora
“How dare you come to my father’s house huh,you this cheap whore
Anne
“I come to take my daughter,if not for God I could have given you a dirty slap,but thank your stars am in a good mood today”, she said making flora panicked in fear
Flora
“Well your daughter is not home,
Anne
“Your mother has been maltreating my baby girl,
Flora
“Baby girl indeed”,she replied rudely
Anne
“But am back now,and it’s won’t happen again to my princess”,she said and started leaving
Flora
“Thank God my mother is not around,you could have bite what you can’t shew,
Anne
“Your mother will be sorry for everything,and she will pay for everything,you mark my words”, she said and left angrily
Flora was angry and shouting in the compound, Melissa was in her room and did not know what was going on,she came out after hearing flora’s voice.
Melissa
“Flora what happened,and why are you shouting
Flora
“My shouting is none of your damn business,go ask your foolish mother”, she said fuming with annoyance while she stare at the road Anne passed, cursing and shouting
Melissa
“My mother was here,and where is she now,huh
Flora
“I don’t know where she is,
Melissa
“please talk to me,
Flora
“Why do you care ,
Melissa
“Cause she is my mother and I want her,
Flora
“She left you already,and she is gone
Melissa did not wait to hear flora,she started running on the road and crying and walked down the road,and she also asked some passerbys if they saw any woman passed that way,but no one saw where Anne passed, Melissa had to go home sadly ,while flora laughed at how she was running and mocked and cursed her.
SOME HOURS LATER
Celine is back from her business,and flora told her everything,she called Rick and asked him about it,she was so angry with her husband that is mistress is back and want to take her child,Rick tried to calm her down on the phone but she is not ready to hear him.
Few minutes later Melissa reached the house after crying and looking for her mother.
Celine
“Hey you were are you coming from huh,you this worthless being
Melissa
“I went to look for my mother,
Celine
“And you dare come back to this house again,
Melissa
“Mother please calm down
Celine
“Am not your mother,you this good for nothing child”, she started beating Melissa,who took all the beatings and did not retaliate
Celine
“Now go in there and pack your belongings from this house,I don’t want to ev
er see you again
Melissa
“But I don’t have where to go to,and this is my father’s house
Celine
“I don’t care,you can sell your body to men and make a living,but I won’t let you stay here,
Melissa
“Mother I know you hate me but I can’t do that,let wait for father
Celine
“young woman are you trying to play on my intelligent, I warned you not to call me mother,I can never be your mother,go away
Melissa
“Father will never forgive you for this,
Celine
“Go away,I know how to handle my husband,like mother like daughter cheap whores”,she spat with anger
Melissa ran away and Celine locked the house, Melissa cried bitterly as she roam on the street, sebastine appeared and saw her crying,it’s pained him bitterly.
Sebastine
“Melissa don’t hurt yourself,
Melissa
“You again,how do you get here”,she said wiping her eyes
Sebastine
“I told you let me help you,am your guardian angel,
Melissa
“I don’t want to pay evil to evil,
Sebastine
“It’s ok,what about you give them some space,
Melissa
“But I don’t have where to stay,I don’t have any body,
Sebastine
“You have me don’t say that,am your friend and am willing to do anything for you,I have a house ,come with me let me heal your pains,and cease your tears away,
Melissa
“Why are you helping me,
Sebastine
“Cause you deserve to be happy,and I am sad you are suffering,please come with me,
Melissa
“Is that all, sebastine” She asked and looked into his eyes
Sebastine
“And I love you” He said sincerely
Melissa
“I feel safe anytime am with you,even if i don’t know who really you are,can you bring my mother to me,
Sebastine
“I can lead her to us,
Melissa
“Ok please bring her to me,
Melissa
“We are in the middle of the road,and a truck is coming,we are going to have an accident,
Sebastine
“Don’t worry dear we are safe,come here”, he said and pulled her into a tight hug
Melissa
“Please take me to your house
Sebastine
“As you wish my lady”He said and he dissappeared with Melissa and appeared in his house.
