BEATRICE POV

William walked into the house looking absolutely miserable and heart broken. I smiled to myself knowing fully well that my plan had worked . Don’t get me wrong ,I love my brother so much . But that no good Chelsea’s look alike doesn’t deserve him at all . She doesn’t deserve him at all .

“William , William are you okay ” Catherine asked but he totally ignored her as he walked up the stairs . Catherine glared at me while I looked away . I seriously do not care what she thinks of me now or how she feels about the entire situation

“Where is VERONICA?”Grandmother asked while Catherine walked really fast towards her ” grandmother are you okay?”

“Yes I am fine Catherine,but where is Veronica..my William needs her ,I don’t know what he might do to himself . I really hope she did not decide to leave him because of what just happened”grandmother started panicking and that is really not good for her health at all

“Grandmother do not worry about that , Veronica will be back soon okay .she will be . Amaya take grandmother to her room . When am through here ,I will join you guys ” she said to grandmother”s personal maid and she immediately agreed as she took grandmother to her room .

“I do not want to sound rude ,but you got your real daughter back . Can you please leave now . As you can see my entire family is not in a good state right now ”

“We will leave for now..but this isn’t over . I still need to talk to William”Penelope said as she walked out of the house with Chelsea and the rest of the family . Catherine glared at me one more time as she walked away

VERONICA POV

It was raining heavily,but I wasn’t affected by this at all . I could drown in my own tears right now and Knowing that I was lied to by the person who claims to love me alot just hurt me deeply.

I walked into my hotel room as I collapsed on the bed . I had no other option,I couldn’t think of were to go again. William hurt me deeply . Why am I always the victim here . Why am I always the one to suffer. I suffered in the hands of my aunt Beatrice and her daughter,I even suffered for Chelsea’s crime that I know absolutely nothing about . why is my life so horrible. All I know is that I can never forgive William for lying to me like this . If he had told me about my past then I wouldn’t have lived the life that belongs to someone else . I definitely wouldn’t forgive Williams for this. I couldn’t control the tears that just flowed freely down my cheeks.

CATHERINE POV

“William ” I called his name as I walked towards him . He sat down on the floor as he stared at Veronica’s picture that was on the wall . I sat down next to him on the floor as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

“She just don’t get it Catherine,she just doesn’t get the fact that I can’t live without

her ..I can’t live without her ” he said as tears ran down his cheek and he quickly

wiped it with his hand so he wouldn’t look weak in front of me . Tears ran down

my own cheek cause i got so emotional seeing my brother cry for the first time in

fifteen years but I also wiped it and said

“William,don’t just sit here feeling sorry for yourself. Veronica is angry right now . Whatever she said please do not take it serious. You have to make her understand why you did that”

“She is not going to forgive me Catherine”

“Veronica loves you William. She will surely forgive you and besides that she promised me , she said she is never going to leave you .. Veronica won’t break her promise right ?”

“Catherine I just want her back. I do not want anything else ,I don’t ”

“Then you have to get her back , whatever she says to you don’t matter, your love is stronger than hey hatred right now so do all you can to get her back. Get her back by all means.

“You are right, I need to go find her and try to explain things to hey … Veronica can’t just leave my life….she just can’t ”

VERONICA POV

I was still busy wallowing in my own despair when I heard a knock on my hotel door.

Who could be knocking on my door by this time. Probably room service..

I got on my feet while holding the hem of my gown to prevent me from stepping on it and falling flat on my face .

I opened the door and suddenly saw BEATRICE

“You what are you doing here ?” I asked as I glared at her . Although I am grateful to her for letting me be Veronica again and not living a life of lie ,even though she did not do it with a good motive .

“Can’t I come visit ”

“No you can’t ..cause we both know we don’t like each other ”

“True ,true ..I am not here to chit chat anyway ”

“Then what are you here for ?” I asked and just then two cops appeared behind her

“Officer ,this is Veronica. Responsible for the death of reputable business woman BEATRICE Alfred and her daughter Loren Alfred. Before I knew what was going on ,I already had handcuffs on my wrist.

“This is what I am here for ,to see you go jail . I mean how dare you try to separate my brother and I ..you will rot in jail now that for sure”

Is this how my life is going to end

Going to jail for a crime I didn’t even commit

A crime I know nothing about …

Am I really going to die in jail .
