“I came out of the bathroom and I saw Romeo with my phone”

 

“What are you doing with that”

 

“Um..someone called..I think Jason or something”

 

“Jason?That’s my brother gimme that”I rushed to him and took the phone from him

 

“Brother?”

 

“Yeah brother”

 

‘Oh thank God”he breathed out with his hands on his chest…don’t tell me this guy was already thinking of something else

 

“What’s there to thank God for”

 

“Nothing..but um…when I picked,it was the voice of a woman I heard”

 

“A woman?”

 

“Yes,she said she needs to speak with you urgently..and her voice sounded sick” “Hmm”I hummed as I placed a call through Jason but its saying switched off “His phone is switched off”I said and he raised his brow “What else did the woman say?”I asked

 

“Nothing,she just kept saying’i need to speak to Madison..give the phone to Maddy”

 

“That’s confusing”

 

“Yup”

 

“Don’t think about that okay,don’t bother yourself”he said pulling me to sit on his lap and I nodded,but still,I need to know who used Jason’s phone to call me

 

THE NEXT DAY

 

“Hurry up babe,we’re gonna be late you know”Romeo called from downstairs

 

“Coming”

 

I added the finishing touch to my hair and I glanced at my fingers,I can’t believe

 

Romeo had his name written on my nails,my boyfriend is something else

 

I grabbed my backpack and left the room

 

“We’ve been waiting since”Romeo whined and Mitch who was in his arms also nodded

 

“Well,sorry”

 

He took my hand and we got to the garage

 

“Mitch,which car do you like”Romeo asked and I gasped,is this guy kidding me right now

 

“U mm mm…that one”he pointed to a black Bugatti and Romeo grinned

 

“So…do you want it”

 

“Dude”i screamed and he grinned

 

“Are you serious right now”

 

“Yeah,he’s old enough to have a car of his own you know”

 

Old enough?this guy is just two years old,what type of brain is this guy using..he hasn’t even bought me a car and he’s buying Mitch a car..what effrontery

 

“I want it”Mitch squealed and I scoffed

 

 

“Okay buddy,that’s your car from now on”

 

“Romeo”I screamed

 

“What…anyways let’s get going,we don’t wanna be late”

 

He opened the backseat and he placed Mitch to seat,I stumped to the door of the passenger seat and I got in,Romeo got in and he started the car

 

I turned to him with a glare and he gave me a “what”look I huffed and looked away

 

He drove Mitch to school and he proceeded to our school

 

“Hey babe”he called as we drove and I ignored him

 

“Hey why the attitude”he asked with a slight push on my shoulders

 

“Are you seriously getting Mitch that car?”

 

“Yeah…is there anything wrong with that?”

 

“No..but…never mind”I turned to the window and I felt his hand on mine,I turned to look at him and he had a worried look on

 

“Did I do something wrong?”

 

“Oh my Gosh no Romeo…like seriously,you did nothing…why would you even think that”

 

“Well,you’re not your usual self so I thought maybe I did something to upset you”

 

“Oh Romeo”I said with a slight head shake

 

I leaned up to his cheek and tried to peck him but he ended up turning making me to kiss his lips

 

“You did nothing okay,just drive,we’ll be late you know”I said with a smile and he nodded

 

 

He already thinks he’s done something to upset me,this guy just gets worried at every slightest thing that is wrong with me,I turned to look at me and he still had that worried face on..I pray this guy won’t kill himself over me

 

Romeo held my hand as we walked into the school,and as usual,eyes were following,phones up in the air,don’t these people get tired at all?

 

Since I started dating Rommy,I’ve had countless of people trying to make friends with me while the fans of Tiana always send me glares anytime they had the chance…they think I “snatched”Romeo from Tiana..

 

Why will I snatch someone else’s man?The mistake Romeo made was that,he didn’t break up with Tiana first

 

I understand that..Romeo had to do a live broadcast last week telling them that I didn’t snatch him,that he was the one that made the mistake I remember that day like a playback movie

 

FLASH BACK

 

 

“You guys should stop making Abby look like a bad person,she’s not..she’s just a sweet girl that I fell in love with,look,I know all of you knew Tania as my girlfriend but throughout the time I was dating her,there was nothing like love,I actually dated hee because I had nothing to do and I found out she has a crush on me so I was like…why not give it a try,I might fall as time goes on

 

But no,nothing like that happened,we all knew Tania as a gentle and sweet girl before she started dating me but when she started dating me,she changed drastically,she became too obsessed with me,too possessive,she became rude,the found being my girlfriend as a medium to do whatever she likes because no one was gonna correct her just because she’s my girlfriend

 

I’ve always tried to correct her but it always ended in heated arguments…so I grew tired of her behavior but I didn’t break up with her because I had hope that she would change

 

Then,Abby came along,after our bumping incident in the cafeteria,all I wanted to do was to apologize to her because of how Tania fired at her that day,I felt bad..really bad

 

I apologized,she accepted my apology,then we became friends but as time went on,I wanted more…I wanted to be more than her friend…Abigail was such a nice and perfect girl…the very day I saw her,I had this perspective of her making a perfect girlfriend

 

 

I fell so deep in love with her that I just wanted to be with her not minding whatever it took

 

So,when Tania confronted her back then in the hallway,she felt bad and it was all my fault…I made her look like a home breaker…I’m the one to be blamed because I was the one making advances towards her not the other way round..she also had feelings for me but she didn’t want me to know because I had a girlfriend…

 

I was heartbroken so I took two weeks off from school and every other thing,I couldn’t get her out of my head..it was like I was cursed..so I had to take the risk,I told her I was ready to do anything for her..I told her she should be my girlfriend not minding what it takes,but she was worried because of my girlfriend but I convinced her that she wasn’t my girlfriend anymore

 

So yeah,I lied,I told her I’ve broken up with Tania so it ain’t her fault…its mine so please and please no shabby words should be thrown to Abby or else the person would have me to deal with.. I don’t joke with my girlfriend”

 

END OF FLASH BACK

 

Since then,everyone has been friendly with me,even the idiots that threw words at me apologized that they were sorry and boom!our relationship has been going smoothly

 

No Tania,no fan wars,no unnecessary discrimination..it has been a peaceful month

 

“Abby”I heard Crystal squeal from her locker and I pecked Romeo on the cheek before I went to her

 

“Watsup bae”i gave her a hug and I heard a scream behind me making me to turn abruptly in fear

 

“Bianca”I whined with my hand on my chest

 

“That was creepy”Crystal said

 

“Whatever,how you guys doing”

 

“Well,we’re doing fine as usual”I replied with a shrug as we walked to class

 

“You guys know the competition is in..”Crystal counted her fingers and she squealed

 

 

“Four days”

 

“Wow…its here already,I can’t wait to meet Franco”Bianca said dreamingly

 

“Ooohh..I know that face”I said wiggling my brows

 

“Don’t get the wrong idea,I only want to meet him because I know he’s gonna bring his madness with him and I always like when he shows his madness to Romeo and boom!they start throwing punches”Bianca said and I rolled my eyes..typical Bianca source of happiness

 

“And that makes you…”Crystal trailed off

 

“Excited and happy and hyped,I love it when boys fight”she said and I shook my head

 

She likes it when boys fight?What kind of friends do I have exactly

 

“Hey guys”we heard Ken’s voice and unexpectedly,he sat on his seat and placed his head on his desk,normally,he would have came to our seat and give us his usual hug and peck,so why is today now different,why does he look sick

 

“Ken”I called but he didn’t answer,I turned to Bianca and she raised her hand up signifying she’s also as confused as I am

 

Romeo came inside the class and he gave me a wink before he sat beside Ken,maybe he would find out what’s up with Ken

 

The bell rang and the teacher went out of the class,Ken went out almost immediately and I nudged crystal

 

“What?”she asked

 

“Go meet him”Bianca said and I nodded

 

“But..

 

 

“No buts..go”I said and she sighed before standing up and running out of the class..they should just make up and date already

 

 

Crystal

 

“Ken…Ken…Ken!!”

 

I kept screaming his name but I couldn’t find him

 

“Where could he be”I said to no one in particular as I searched everywhere for him,I felt a hand cover my mouth and pull me to somewhere I don’t know

 

“Shh..its me”he removed his hand from my mouth and I screamed silently

 

“Ken?..you scared me”

 

“I’m sorry”

 

I huffed and arranged my dress well

 

“What are you doing in…”I looked around”the janitor’s closet?”

 

“Nothing”he replied with a shrug and I eyed him suspiciously

 

“Anyways,I just came to check on you,since you came this morning with a bas vibe so I wanted to know whether you…

 

“Crystal”he cut in leaning forward

 

“Y..yes?”

 

“What did I do?”he asked

 

“Wha…what do you mean”

 

“You’ve been acting different with me for the past three weeks,you gave me an attitude that I don’t like,whenever I try to talk to you,you brush me off,your expression changes whenever I’m with you,you don’t even annoy me anymore”

 

“Why are you bothered,you want me to annoy you?”

 

 

“As a matter of fact yes,I tried to act tough at first but I can’t take it anymore,your silent treatment is killing me Crystal..please just tell me what I did Wrong” I smiled mentally at his speech,this is fun

 

“You did nothing…I’m gonna go”I proceeded to touch the door knob but he pulled me back

 

“What do you want”

 

“I want you to stop giving me a silent treatment…I want my Crystal back,I…I missed you”

 

Don’t let what he just said get to you Crystal…don’t let it get to you..oh fu.ck it my expression has changed,I also can’t take this anymore

 

“I..Ken..

 

“I’m sorry”

 

“For what..you didn’t do anything wrong”

 

“No..I’m about to do something wrong”

 

“And what’s that”

 

He sighed and leaned close to me,before I knew it,he placed his lips on mine and my eyes widened in shock,I regained myself and I reciprocated the kiss wrapping my arms round his neck,I guess Bianca and Abby were right,the plan worked. .
