Madison’s POV

 

FLASH BACK

 

I groaned as I sat up from the bed,this headache is really pounding,I looked around

 

and i couldn’t find Jackson,my boyfriend,we both slept on this bed yesterday so

 

where is he now?…oh my God,don’t tell me he ran away after he took my

 

virginity..

 

*Ring*

 

I heard my phone ring from the side of the bed and I reached for it with trembling hands ,I looked at the caller and its Clara,my best friend

 

 

“hey Clara”I said with shaky voice

 

 

“keep the greetings Madi you’re in big trouble”she said and my heart almost flew out of my chest

Anytime I remember this memory,I always feel like committing suicide,I’ve tried

 

committing suicide twice but I always get rescued..but why?they should just let me

 

die,like…what’s the use of my existence?there’s no where I’ll go that I’ll not be

 

mocked,reprimanded or insulted..

 

So why can’t I die in peace?

 

But…I guess I still have two reasons to live…my unborn child needs a family and my brother still needs me,I guess that’s enough reasons

 

I heard the sound of plates crashing and I jolted out of my thoughts…gosh I just broke a plate,another round of insult coming up

 

“You never do anything thing good in your life,all you know how to do is to break things…you broke our reputation,you broke our family name,now you broke a plate..what else are you gonna break huh..tell me you godforsaken child!”she fired

 

“Mum it was a mistake

 

“Mistake…yeah,you always make mistakes..just the way the bastard in your tummy is a mistake”she spat and tears rolled down my eyes…my child is always called a bastard,and he’s not a bastard,he has a father

 

“Clean this mess up…idiot”she hissed and I fell on my knees allowing the tears to fall freely,this is what I’ve been going through for the past 4months,well who is to be blamed?..me of course,I was the one that fell for his charms,I was the one that trusted him too much,I’m the one that caused all these…the name my dad has been keeping for years was dragged into the mud by me in just a day,I’m never going to forgive myself…my stupid mistake ruined dads reputation to the extent that it almost cost him his company…well,thank God it didn’t..he doesn’t show me the fatherly love anymore,I became a complete stranger to him..I really messed up

 

“Sis are you crying again?”I heard my brother,Jason,ask

 

I quickly cleaned my tears and stood up giving him my best fake smile

 

 

“No…something got stuck in my eye”I said as I faced the sink He sighed and hugged me from the back

 

“You don’t need to cry sis..you’ll get through this soon”he pecked my shoulders

 

and I smiled…a genuine one this time

 

He turned me to face him and he smiled

 

“How is little Jason doing…is he kicking?”he placed his ear on my four months protruded tummy and he made kicking sounds with his mouth…i laughed as he brought his head up

 

“I’m sure his fine”i rubbed my tummy and he nodded as he held my shoulders

 

“I don’t like seeing you crying sis…i really get hurt when you cry”

 

“I’m sorry”I said and he hugged me

 

“Just stay happy for me and Jason junior”I sighed deeply with a nod

 

Well,my parents gave birth to two children..Jason and I,Jason is 16yrs old,2years younger than I am.We are rich but not that rich,at least out of 100 we are..75,so we are able to aquire every needs and wants,cars,houses,private jet…and other material things,we are very blessed but unfortunately,I’m enjoying little out of the blessings now,they feed me but I use my own earned money to take care of myself and my baby..thank God I saved a lot of money before all these happened,Jason also helps

 

“I’m going to see Clara today”I said and he huffed

 

“That bitch haven’t call for the past 3months,she avoided you like a plague and you wanna visit her?”he scoffed unbelievably and I knocked his head playfully

 

“Come on,she’s not a bitch…she’s my best friend”

 

“Best friend indeed”he said and I chuckled

 

“Let me go freshen up”I said we both proceeded out of the kitchen

 

 

I got to my bedroom and I slumped on my bed.I stripped off my clothes and proceeded to the bathroom.I took my bathe and I came out of the bedroom.I sat at the from of my dressing mirror and I sighed at the depressed and weary face staring back at me in the mirror.Pregnancy didn’t change me one bit,I’m still the beautiful brown skinned Madi,my mum is black American so I got my skin color from her and yeah my dad is white

 

I took my comb and I groaned at the sight of the over full,long and puffy afro hair..my hair isn’t like most American hair

 

My hair is a shinny black,over full,long and fully afro hair,combing it is very stressful,Jason has told me to straighten it but I love it like this,it adds to my beauty

 

After almost 30mins,I’m done with my hair,I packed it right at the middle creating a puffy ball.I took a yellow slip on that matches my floral gown and I wore it..I exited my room and I took the stairs

 

“And where are you going?”I heard mum ask

 

“I’m going to see Clara”I said and she returned her gaze back to the book she was reading

 

“I’ll be back in less than 2hrs”she didn’t even reply me,well I’m used to that

 

I got out of the house and proceeded to the main gate,I’m supposed to take one of the cars but..I’m not entitled anymore

 

Clara’s house is just few blocks away so…I’ll just walk *

I rang the door bell and a voice answered

The door cracked open revealing Clara’s mum

“Well,I came to check up on you since I haven’t seen your call for a long time and even if I called you,you won’t pick so I thought maybe something came up”

 

“Oh..nothing came up Madi”she cut in and I bat my lashes rapidly

 

“So why didn’t you..

 

“I deliberately didn’t call”she said and I smiled lightly

 

“Look Madi,you’re a great girl but you and I can’t be friends anymore”she said and I swallowed hard

 

“W…why is that?”I shuttered and she scoffed

 

“Why is that?..are you really asking me that question?..for fu.cks sake your goddamn nu.des were on the web,just take a look at you,you’re pregnant..you look like a woman at 92..you’re seen as a whore in the whole neighborhood and I can’t

 

 

be friends with a whore”she said without any emotion and I smiled-a smile of pain and disappointment

 

I wiped the tear rolling down my cheeks and sniffed

 

“So..let’s not come across each other again” With that,she slammed the door right at my face

 

Okay Madi don’t cry,you’re supposed to be used to this by now,you’re always casted away by everyone so this shouldn’t make you cry but it hurts so damn much..Clara is my best friend and I can’t believe she said all that *Ring ring*

 

I heard my phone ring and I took it out of my purse.oh its Jason..I sniffed in and wiped my tears before answering

“just wanted to check up on you…coming back from Clara’s?

 

I smiled out tears as I walked

 

 

“yeah

 

 

“how’d it go?

 

More tears poured as I remembered all Clara said

 

 

“it went…it went great,very great

 

 

“something happened right?

 

That’s my brother for you..he knows when anything is wrong with me

 

 

“no nothing happened

 

 

“okay..see you when you get home

 

He sounded unconvinced

I ended the call and I continued my walk home

 

“I’m home”I announced-as if anyone would answer me

 

“You’re back”J said as he climbed down the stairs with his laptop in his hands

 

“Hey,where’s mum and dad?”

 

“I donno”he shrugged and I hummed

 

“Come take a look at this”he sat on the sofa as he scrolled through his laptop and I sat beside him

 

“What’s up”

 

“A guy is requesting for an hacker,he said his computer has been infected with a virus..like somebody put it there and he can’t access his files and documents and he needs to access a file urgently”

 

I hummed as I stared at the laptop

 

“You can do that right?..you studied this tech stuff in high school”

 

“Um…is there a pay?”I asked

 

“Um mm…he hummed as he scrolled through his laptop

 

“10 000 bucks”he exclaimed and I chocked on the water I was drinking

 

“10 000 grand?”

 

“Yeah..seems like he really needs that file”he said and i nodded

 

“So will you do it?”

 

“Is that a question?..we are talking about 10 000 bucks and you’re asking me…heck yeah I’m doing it”he grinned and I sat upright

 

 

“All you have to do is to email him your account number”

 

“Its pay before work?”

 

“Nope”I nodded with a shrug

 

“But I have to create an anonymous email..I don’t want the person to know its me”he nodded with a hum

 

“What about your account..he can trace you through your account”he said and I smirked patting him on his shoulder

 

“Oh brother…ain’t a hacker for nothing”

 

“I trust you sis,now get to it”

 

“Yeah”

 

I collected the laptop from him and I set to work

 

I stretched my hands and cracked my knuckles as I closed the laptop.I finally finished with helping the man with his virus problem and yeah I got my 10000bucks.Now I can buy more baby clothes and accessories.I can’t wait to finally give birth,I bet my baby will be so cute

 

*Knock knock*

 

“Who is it”

 

“Its me sis,you done?”

 

“Yeah”

 

I opened the door revealing his 16yr old cute face

 

“Dad’s back”he said and my face went down

 

“You’ll be fine”he said as he squeezed my hands giving me an assuring smile

 

“Hey dad”Jason greeted as well got to the sitting room

 

“Hey son,how was your day”dad replied with his ever sweet smile which he ceased to give me from the very day I disappointed him

 

“Welcome dad”I greeted with my best smile and he only gave a nod.I’m okay with that,at least I got s nod,I was always ignored before but now,I get a nod….that’s great news

 

“I made dinner”mum said as she took his suitcase.I really wanna have the chance to cook for the family but mum won’t let me,she’ll say I’ll contaminate the food with my immoral hands,the hands I’ve used to grab thousands of dicks.

 

And I really love cooking,I spend my leisure time in watching cooking tutorials and learning new recipes,I have a book of recipes I invented myself which I’ve never gotten the chance to cook.My dream is to become a successful chef but dad wanted me to study business so I can take over his company-not that that can happen again anyways.I just wish there’s a way to make my dream come true..I’m gonna make it come true,I’m promising myself that. .
