Saphira’s POV

 

Today is Saturday..

 

 

I and mirabel usually go for shopping every saturday and today is not an exception..

 

I took my bath,put on my dress and wore a light make up..

 

“Mum I’m off” I called out,heading downstairs..

 

“But where are you going?” Mum asked..

 

“I’m going for shopping of course,today is saturday”

 

“I’m ready Saphira! Can we go now?” Mirabel called out,heading downstairs..

 

“Your father has really spoilt you guys..must you go to shopping every Saturday?” Mum whined..

 

“Come on mum! We’re not old fashioned like you” Mirabel teased.. “Can you see this jun pyo? Your children are calling me old fashioned”

 

“Why is my pumpkin getting herself all worked up..they’re my daughters so they can my money all they want” dad said..

 

“Aww! You’re the best dad ever” I said and gave dad a peck..

 

“I can’t believe this! My daughters has stolen my husband away from me”

 

“Eww! What are we gonna do with your old husband?” Mirabel scoffed and we all burst out laughing..

 

“What? What did you say? Come here I’ll teach the both of you a lesson” mum said,running towards us..

 

“Run Mirabel! Run!!” I called out..

 

We both ran out of the house,laughing out our ribs…

 

We got to the mall and did a lot of shopping..

 

My father is filthy rich, so we we are allowed to spend as much as we want..

 

We bought a lot of things like bags,shoes,dresses,eye glass, e.t.c..

 

“Enough of the shopping,I’m tired already” I complained..

 

“But I’m not tired..oh! I like that shoe over there,I’ll go get it” Mirabel said and ran off..

 

Mirabel is a fashion freak, she is crazy about shopping..if I don’t stop her we might sleep in this mall..

 

I tried to run to her but I bumped into someone..

 

I tripped but a hand caught me..

 

I raised my head and my eyes came in contact with him.. “You!!!!!!!” I screamed and he dropped me immediately.. Why did I have to meet this asshole today?

 

Since the day I saved him,I prayed never to set my eyes on him again.. But what’s he doing here?

 

“Don’t you have eyes? Or didn’t your parents teach you how to walk properly?” I angrily said..

 

“Excuse me miss,you were the one that bumped into me.” He replied,pointing at me..

 

“And now he is blaming me..what are you even doing here? Are you stalking me?” I asked with a wide opened eyes..

 

“Why would I do that? I only came here to pick up some stuff”

 

“I don’t trust you at all..people like you are capable of doing anything” I said and rolled my eyes..

 

“Can we stop arguing already..I’m tired of arguing with you”

 

“I’m also tired of speaking with someone like you” I rudely replied,walking off..

 

“I’m sorry” he suddenly said, making me stop..

 

I quickly turned back and walked up to him.

 

“What did you say?”

 

“I said I’m sorry..I don’t want us to keep on quarreling,can we be friends?” He said..

 

I could sense sincerity in his voice..

 

Maybe he is not bad after all..

 

“Ok! I forgive you” I said,smiling..

 

“Thanks..I’m Jeffrey and you?” He asked with his hand stretched out..

 

“Saphira..I’m Saphira” I replied with a handshake..

 

“OK! I think I have to leave now,see you later” he said and walked off before I could say anything..

 

“Wow! He is really cute” I muttered..

 

“Hey! Who was that?” Mirabel suddenly said..

 

“Omg! You startled me” I said holding my chest..

 

 

“I’m sorry..I saw you guys discussing,so I didn’t want to interrupt..but who is he?” Mirabel inquired..

 

“He is just a friend”

 

“A friend?”

 

“Yes! Is there something wrong?” I asked confused at her reaction.. “Uhm..I don’t know..there’s something strange about him” she replied.. “And when did you become a seer? Stop overreacting,we’re just friends” “But…

 

“I’m tired already,can we just go home?” I said..

 

“As you wish..”
