“Have you packed the lunch box?” I asked the maid.
“Almost done, ma” She said
I just finished cooking for the family. I was trying my very best to impress them especially Happiness
After what happened last night though I was hurt but I’ll still definitely win Dalton’s heart. And by doing so, I have to gain happiness trust.
I have asked the maid about happiness favorite food which is pasta. And that’s what I have been cooking since. It has already done now. So I ask the maid to pack the lunch box do me coz I am damn tired.
“It’s done, ma”
I stood up and walked to her.
“I hope happiness would love it” I mumbled nervously
“Am not sure coz it was only her personal maid that can satisfy her”
“I just want her to appreciate me”
I took the lunch box and put it in her lunch bag then put it on the dinning table alone with Dalton and Stephan food which is not yet dish.
I walked straight to Stephan’s room and knock upon his door.
“Yes, come in” I heard him say
I open the door and walked in. He was preparing to go toghe bathroom. “It was you. What do you want?” hr said harshly
“Good morning. I just wanna tell you that food is ready and…”
“You cook?” he cut me off. “You’re really trying to impress us which amused me.
Get out, I want to take my shower” he said and walked away.
“What nonsense!” I muttered then walked out.
I can’t go to Dalton room. I walked to happiness took and saw her dressing with her maid.
“Can’t you knock?” she shouted at me. “You’re so rude. Is that your good morning?” She rolled her eyes.
“You can go, let me continue dressing for her” I said to the maid
“Am sorry, ma but nobody can touch her except her family” said her maid. “I am also her family and what kind of rule is that?”
“Mind you, you’re not my family. That’s my rule and it can’t change. You understand?” happiness said and leaned forward closer to me.
“I hate your gut” I said and knocked her head.
Her eyes widened.
“You dare hit me?”
“Yeah! So what?!”
“You’re gonna regret this” she said and breathe in then exhaled.
“Aargggge..” she screamed so hard that I had to cover my ear.
“Stop shouting” I shouted at her but she didn’t stop.
“Happiness…”

“Stop that” then I was trying to cover her mouth but she was struggling with me. “WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?!” I heard a very deep and angry voice behind me I look back and saw Dalton with dripping hair and a short. He was shirtless. “CAN’T YOU TALK?” he shouted again.
Happiness ran to him and hug his waist.
“She hit me, daddy. She hut me badly” she started crying profusely. I’m doomed
Dalton look at me with rage.
“Tell me she’s lying” he mutter
I stood up
“I-I-I didnt…h-hit her”
“So, she’s lying?” he said
“No daddy. I am not lying. She knocked me on the head so hard. You can ask my maid” Happiness cried out again
“How dare you hit my daughter? How dare you lay your filthy hand on her? ANSWER ME!” He shouted and I stumbled back.
“I-I-I am…sorry” I stammered
“Hey…why is *your daughter screaming?” Stephan said walk in. He was tying his tie* .
“This slut hit her” Dalton said
“What?”
“Hand me your phone” Dalton said to Stephan and without asking why, he hand it over to him.
What’s he gonna do?!
He dial a number and within a minutes the person picked up.
“Hello” I heard the person said. I think he put it in loud speaker.
“Hello dad”
“Dalton?”
My heart skipped
“Dad, can you imagine that the girl you sent here hit my daughter?” I can sense rage in his voice.
So, he really love his daughter very much. Then he must love the mother the most.
“What? How dare her? Is that why I sent her there? Where’s happiness?”
He gave the phone to her
“hello grandpa” she said
Am crying already. I didn’t mean to hit her but I don’t even know when I knocked her head. But this girl is a devil..
“Princess, are you okay?”
“No. I want her gone, grandpa. I don’t like her. And she almost rape my dad last night. She’s a slut, Grandpa” Happiness said crying.

He hang up and throw the phone at Stephan.
“You are going girl” Stephan said and smirked at me.
“Prepare to leave this house”
“Dalton, I am sorry. Happiness…forgive me”
“Get out of my room” she said
“But I’m sorry”
“She said get out. ” Stephan shouted at me.
I quickly ran out of her room.
.I ran straight to my room and Locke the door behind me.

I quickly pack two to three clothes and walked out of the room. I love Dalton but they don’t want me.
Maybe I should leave the house for them for a while. And for all this years, I should see my sister. We have abandon her enough. She has had enough. I bet her child will Have been a good girl/boy now.
I walked downstairs and saw the lunch box that I made for happiness on the table.
“Hey…come here” I said go the Mai cleaning the floor.
“Are they still in the house?”
she shook her head negatively
“No, they has already left for school”
I nodded slowly
I just stressed myself for nothing. They did not even touch the food.
I dropped a letter on the table then walked out of the house.
