OVERLOOKED LOVE

 

PART 1

 

Jade moved to a new apartment with tighter security. She bought new furniture and upgraded her wardrobe, especially the underwear department. Two more black Braziers joined the only one which was there for a long period of time. A few thongs joined the party plus some sexy lingerie. Travis was expected in town and she had to be ready for sensual bedroom episodes that was already well planned.

 

 

Tess on the other hand was over the moon expecting a new hook up and at the same time nursing wounds of losing both her “mother” and lover. In fact deep down she blamed Jade for her losses but the good thing is her money was safe. She also got to know who Raksha was and what she had done to her real mother and father.

 

Friday morning and Travis with his friends arrived in style from the Airport . As usual Jade had kept everything ready, the cars and the relevant documents. She always did the transfers online as the buyers waited. Once they settled in Tyson’s larger than life office, Jade joined them. Travis looked even more gorgeous, he was like an onion, the next layer always looked cleaner and better. With him were Jason and Gavin. Introductions were done, and to Jade’s surprise, Travis had left no stone unturned in telling them about her.

 

GAVIN: You are more beautiful than the description we were given.

 

JADE: What part of my anatomy did he leave out?

 

JASON: The hips

 

JADE: Damn, Travis, I am still in the market and so if you have to sell me, do it accurately. Using a full photo would be more appropriate. Who am I starting with?

 

TYSON: You have to start with Jason and Gavin because they have to go back today.

 

JADE: What? You guys don’t want to spend a night in our City? It is Friday, we could go out I show you how night life is here.

 

JASON: There is always a next time. We appreciate the invitation but we have meetings scheduled for tomorrow. We can’t cancel.

 

JADE: This is so bad. My girl Tess will be so disappointed

 

GAVIN: Wow! Wow! You’d even arranged girls for us?

 

 

JADE: Not really, she is my best friend and I told her you guys were coming, and you know how it goes with us women….you have guests, you take them out for dinner and dancing.

 

TRAVIS: I know how you roll Jade, sorry I didn’t tell you about it in advance but don’t worry, I am here. We will go out and Tyson can join us.

 

JADE: The day Tyson will go out, Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Jesus will come out from his hiding place, or Goliath might wage another war against David.

 

TYSON: And that’s Jade for you! Now let’s do business. Gentlemen, you can follow the lady.

 

I left the office followed by Gavin and Jason. They somehow looked alike, very polite and well informed. They asked some questions about the cars and after thorough viewing and our mechanic showing them the engines, gears and brakes, the deal was sealed. Money transfer was immediately done and I transferred the Vehicles in their names. Once my part was done, I took them back to Tyson’s office. I called Tess to give her the bad news that the two guys couldn’t stay, they had to drive back.

 

TESS: That is so disappointing. I have been fantasizing about ceasing the moment. Now what?

 

JADE: Travis will stay for the weekend; at least he will take us out.

 

TESS: How I wish Ryan was still in my life, it would have been a foursome.

 

JADE: Nothing wrong with a threesome.

 

TESS: I will have to improvise.

 

JADE: How?

 

TESS: Look for a friend who I won’t mind kissing when I am high.

 

 

JADE: I’d rather you do that with a stranger who won’t even remember what you look like, not a friend who will always remind you of some lousy kiss he planted in your mouth. Buy hey, it is your choice.

 

TESS: I am so disappointed Jade.

 

JADE: So am I, but don’t worry it is not the end of men. There are more in the bush. We will have fun. Hope you are not working tomorrow

 

TESS: Nope I already took the day off, you?

 

JADE: No job, so tonight we are going to set ourselves free. Better be at my place by 9pm.

 

I was more than excited. Tyson quickly released Jason and Gavin and we waved them off as they started their journey back. Tyson was so greatful to Travis and he kept winking at me, a sign that I should make sure Travis ‘eats’ to his fullest. Back to Tyson’s office the three of us sat to discuss about the Mercedes he wanted to purchase for his father. It was not as expensive as what he had bought for himself but it was equally a gorgeous German Machine.

 

TRAVIS: So Jade, why were you planning to hook up Tess with my friends? What happened with her boyfriend?

 

JADE: Let’s just say, it ended so badly. A lot of things came into light and she had to let go.

 

TRAVIS: I see, they seemed so much in love, but anyway shit happens.

 

TYSON: I am here if she needs a bald pregnant man.

JADE: Okay let me make a few calls.

 

 

TYSON: What is wrong with Travis staying at your place Jade? Won’t that be convenient for the two of you to discuss further business deals? I am just saying, you know. Do you mind Travis?

 

TRAVIS: I don’t mind at all

 

JADE: Let me think about it, I am not used to people camping at my place.

 

Tyson was such a conniving boss. I went back to my office and made a quick call to Tess regarding what Tyson had suggested. I wasn’t comfortable with Travis living under my roof. I loved my freedom so much. Tess told me that three days wasn’t bad, after all the guy was already my ‘boyfriend’ unofficially. I agreed to it but with second thoughts. I hung up the phone just as Travis came in with his bag.

 

TRAVIS: Do you always have to consult before making decisions? The house is yours; you have the right to say no.

 

JADE: It’s not what you think. I am used to living alone and adjusting to a man under my roof can be tricky. I like walking na.ked around the house.

 

TRAVIS: I promise not to touch the remote and I will sleep on the couch. And about the na.ked part, I am blind.

 

JADE: You wish. Anyway It’s okay. You can sleep on the bed as long as you don’t snore.

 

I had to leave work early and take him to my new place. He was impressed. We went to the supermarket and did some shopping. He helped in the Kitchen as I made dinner. He was such a gentleman in every way. I couldn’t wait for the party to begin. He had no idea the crazy things I had planned for him that night. In my mind, he was my husband and I had already visualized how our wedding was going to be. Travis and I were meant to be, even Tyson knew that.

 

We had dinner together and it was fantastic. We were like a real couple. Dinner, Wine and Stories. At 8:30 p.m. Tess called and told me she was on her way . I told Travis that we had to dress up and prepare for the night out. He kissed me on the forehead before we headed to the bedroom to change.

 

 

TRAVIS: Your friend will be lonely without Ryan.

 

JADE: I don’t think so, but given the way she was in love with him, it will take her time to recover. I am sure her mind will me lingering out once in a while imagining how it would be if Ryan had joined us.

 

TRAVIS: That’s true.

 

JADE: I am sure you will be able to handle us both so that she doesn’t feel bored

 

TRAVIS: I will try, as long as she is free spirited and flexible to fit in.

 

JADE: Don’t cross the border line.

 

TRAVIS: What do you mean by that?

 

JADE: You know exactly what I mean.

 

TRAVIS: You think I will come on to her?

 

JADE: I trust you; it is Tess I don’t trust.

 

And talk of the devil. She was at the door. I went to open and one look at Tess and I almost fainted. She was in the shortest dress ever designed in Africa. And with her thunder thighs, it was like she was all out to make a catch. Dear Lord, not my Travis, No! It is not like I didn’t have confidence in my shape and all that, but her dressing shocked me.

 

JADE: Wow, you look deadly gorgeous.

 

I had to lie, but deep down I was like, are you for real bitch!

 

TESS: Thanks girl, where is Travis? I would love to meet him finally.

 

JADE: He is dressing up in the bedroom.

 

 

As I closed the door, Tess had already gone to the bedroom, not caring whether Travis was still na.ked or not! I went in and found her hugging him so tightly. Travis had not even worn his shirt yet. I was disgusted, mad and pissed off at the same time. The look on Travis face was awkwardly awkward. He was afraid to hold her! The night had not started and she was already all over my man like Toyota cars on the roads! Not this time. No! This was war and I had to sharpen my weapons and that included a gun.
