Zoey’s Pov:
My eyes widened in shock as the rest of the people in the hall gasped in accordance.
What?? What’s Zosar doing??
“My…My prince” the priest stuttered.
“What are you talking about?”
He took his eyes from me and looked at the priest.
“I said…I can’t go on with this marriage because I don’t love Rana” he said again and a tear came running down Rana’s cheeks.
“Zosar…” She called and tried holding his hand, but he restricted her.
“I’m sorry, father. I’m sorry mother. I’m sorry for all the disappointments. But I simply can’t get married to her” he said icily and walked away, ignoring the stairs from people as he did.
“Zosar!” The Queen called, but he didn’t stop to look at anyone.
Oh my God! What did he just do? Who’s he in love with?
The hall became obstreperous instantly and Rana was the first to run out in tears.

Zosar’s Pov:
I opened the door and walked into the room to meet mother and father who’s requested to see me.
The news was still flying round the entire city – Princess Rana was dumped by her fiancee right in the marriage hall.
Well, they wouldn’t blame me. I told them I wasn’t in Rana.
I got into the room and met them both looking like tigers.
“Mother…” Before I could finish up my statement, father landed a heavy slap on my face, mum winced a little.
Well…that was expected.
“You shameless brat!” He snapped, pointing his finger at me.
“How dare you bring shame to this household? How dare you??”
I didn’t say a word.
“Did you really have to be so foolish, huh? Did you?? How on earth could you dump Rana in front of everyone??”
“I’m sorry, father but you wouldn’t blame me. I told you I wasn’t interested in hr, but you tried forcing it on me” I replied and he landed another slap on my face.
F**k!!
The only thing saving him is the fact that he’s my father!
“Tell me what’s wrong in getting married to Rana! Huh?? What’s wrong?” He yelled
“Do you know the consequences of what you just did? you’ve just ruined my relationship with her father and he’s likely to take revenge. What happened to your senses Zosar? What???”
I bent my head and tried controlling my anger.
“Who are you in love with?” Mother asked for the first time and I looked at her
“Is it Zoey?”
My eyes dimmed immediately and I quickly took them to the floor.
“Is she the one? Tell me, Zosar!” She insisted, but I didn’t say a word.
“Listen to me and listen very good” Father continued.
“You’re going to make peace with Rana. You’re going to beg her and tell her you made a grave mistake because the wedding must go on”.
What?
I flinched and looked at him.
“Father? What’re you…”
“Don’t question me, Zosar! Just do as I say! No matter what, you’re getting married to Rana and that’s final. So, you better go look for her and apologize to her”.
“Never!” I rasped.
“I can only apologize to her, but we’re never getting married.”
“Zosar!” Mother called
“I’m sorry mother, but I’m not a kid anymore. You Can’t just make such decisions for me. I’m sorry if I’ve disappointed you, but I can’t get married to Rana” I stated angrily and started towards the door.
“Zosar!” Father called and I turned to look at him.
“You wouldn’t want to create a war between both of us” he said I shut him a stare and walked out of the room
I think its high time I made a decision. If they really want to force me, then I’m afraid they’ll have to lose their only son. *

Zoey’s Pov:
I paced tho and fro in the room, still thinking about the morning incidence.
Zosar’s words clearly resounded in my head.
“I’m in love with someone else”.
Oh, God!
I stopped walking and sat on the bed.
Who could it be? And…why had he been staring at me at that moment? The kiss…I suddenly remembered the kiss.
No! Simply because he kissed me doesn’t mean he loves me, right? Of course, not.
But who could he be in love with? Is it possible he’s got a secret lover somewhere? Who could it be? Gosh! I was damn curious.
Suddenly, the door opened abruptly and I turned in shock.
Huh? It was him! Zosar!
I jumped on my feet immediately.
“Zoey…” He called and moved closer to me.
“Zo…Zosar” I stuttered helplessly and he held my hand.
“I want you to come with me. We don’t have much time” he said hastily and started leading me towards the door.
Huh?
“Wait!” I stopped him.
“Wh…Where are you taking me? Where are we going?” I asked and he sighed and faced me.
“We’re leaving this place, Zoey. I want us to elope together” he replied and my lips dropped open.
