Zoya POV

I smiled at the woman and stretched out my hand towards her which she stared for a brief moment before she clasped her hand to mine and I pulled her to her feet.

Together we headed back to the car and she sat down behind with her kids and I and Harsha resumed our former position. I put down the gun on the driver’s sit and sat on it.

I stopped the car in a nice eatery and we went inside.

Everyone eyes were on us, especially on the tattered woman and her children, but I ignored it and we walked straight to a table of five and sat down.

A waitress came to our table and was staring lustfully at Harsha.

“Hello, what can I get for you?” She asked Harsha directly, ignoring the rest of us.

“You can order anything at all, mother.” I said to the woman and turned my gaze at the two little children. “And you both, cuties.”

When I felt a ghost nearing me, and was transfixed with fright, It was your saree veil that guards me, Oh Mother

“We would like to eat whatever food is available that is very cheap.” The woman told me.

When I return my gaze to the waitress, I noticed how she was busy eye fu.cking my Harsha.

“Someone will get their eyes plucked if she keeps staring at my husband.” I said loud enough for her and the people around us to hear me. “If you want to become a prostitute I can arrange that right now!”

“I’m so sorry ma’am.” She pleaded and quickly took down my orders for the mother and her children.

For some reason, Harsha was just smiling.

“What is so funny sweetheart?” I ask him.

“Nothing, I just realized how possessive you are wild cat.”

I smile at him as the waitress returns back to our table with what I have ordered.

One hour later, we left the eatery and entered the car. Harsha had surprisingly kicked against the idea of me paying for their bills. We had to argue until those who came to eat had to step in into our argument and ask us to divide the bill into two. All these while, he just keeps smiling.

Even as we entered the car, he was still smiling.

“Thank you for the food kind ma’am.” The woman thanked me.

I brush it off with a shrug shoulder.

“You are welcome mother, huh, I don’t know if you will accept, but there is a helping foundation called ‘Zoya Helping Foundation’ in Gorai Village. They help the like of us and will make sure your children have the best.” I told her, staring at her through the rearview mirror.

“Really?”

“Yes mother.” I said with a nod and a bright smile. “If you are interested I will give you the card and some cash for you and your children to go to Gorai village.” I added.

“Thank you, I will love to go, I will offer prayers to our goddess Sita to always protect you.” She said in tears.

I see the invisible Creator in you. You are my hope for tomorrow, oh Mother

I smiled widely. You see, when I have the prayers of those praying for me in their different religions, I can’t be defeated that easily.

I drove her to the bus station where she will board a bus going to Gorai Village. I removed my right sneakers and brought out a card, my helping foundation card and gave it to the woman with some cash.

“Once you reach Gorai Village, just ask anyone of ‘Zoya Helping Foundation.” I told her.

She took the card and cash from me with a happy smile as she with her children came down from the car.

I waved at them and I drove back to Anant Desai residence.

On the way, my phone rang and I had to park the car before picking up the call.

“Hello Grandma.”

Harsha POV

When I heard ‘Hello grandma’ I was shocked to my bones. I had thought as an hooligan, she was an orphan.

So she has a grandmother who knows that she kills for money?

I thought to myself.

When she had helped that poor woman something in me change, a warm feeling perhaps, I don’t know what it was but I felt all my anger against her draining away. I had loved her possessiveness at the eatery and it had somehow turned me on. Luckily enough before we left the eatery, my hard on has softened.

I eavesdropped on their conversation.

“Can you come to Gorai tomorrow.” Her grandmother said.

“Why? Is there any problem?” She asked, glancing at me and I raised an eyebrow at her.

“Yes there is a problem, someone wants to take over Gorai village and is asking for the papers of our lands. They have given us the grace for us to hand over the papers until tomorrow. I decided to call you since you are like the voice of the village to know what to do next, Zoya.”

Wait a minute, did she just mention Gorai Village and Zoya? As in Zoya Helping Foundation?
