I wasn’t sure wether my ears were playing games with me but when i looked at her she was so damn serious, i was shocked for days… Me:you joking right grandma?
Her:no baby girl am not..
Me:and mommy?did you tell her the truth before she died?

Me:you know what,this is too much for me,i need some air..
I stood up took my bag and left the office, that moment i needed someone to talk too,my sister was too young for all of this drama,so the person who came in my mind was Lucky,i took a cab and headed to his office…. .
Back at the hospital
Granny was crying and the doctor gave her some tissues and gave her a hug…
Gran:she will never forgive me
Doc:she will, she loves you right now she’s just shocked, understandably so Gran:(crying) i love my granddaughters, they are everything to me and i don’t want to lose them.
Doc:trust me,you wont lose them,what you did was brave but you need to stop stressing yourself now,nokthula will come around, what you need to do now is focusing on your health,you need to fight this cancer for them,they need you..
Gran:(wiped her tears and calm down)you know what,you are right,i’ll do everything in my power to get all the help i need.
Doc:and i will be with you every step of the way,don’t hesitate to call me when you need anything even if it’s twelve at night,i will be there.
Gran:(smiled)and your wife?how would she feel about you leaving her at night to attend a patient?
Doc:(laughed)wife,i don’t have a wife even if i had one,she would ve understood that she’s sharing me with my patients, simple as that besides it’s not like i would be cheating.
Gran:you’re a good man Doctor Khuzwayo, and tonight i will ask God to bless you
with a good and beautiful woman.
Doc:(laughed) thanx mam
Gran:do you go to church
Doc:i do but i don’t have a church,i just go where ever
Gran:ngempela?(he nooded)you need to come to our church this sunday and you gonna love it.
Doc:(clearing his desk)so,is Thula also going in the same church as you?
Gran:yes,why?
Doc:aah never mind me am just curious, she looks like a well mannered girl,you
did a very good job with her.
Gran:(suspiciously) o-kay,thank you..

When i reached Lucky’s work i found his PA who gave me an attitude and that really pissed me off because i didn’t understand what her problem was,she was just a PA,cute yes but she was my boyfriends PA she needed to show some respek,i walked towards Lucky’s office from a distance i heard some sexual noises and my heart skipped a bit,i slowed down trying to listen wether i heard correctly but the was silence,i was relieved,i continued approuching the door then i opened without knocking and i couldn’t believed my eyes,there they were na.ked and the lady was on her knees while Lucky was cuming in her mouth… Me:ohh my god,what the hell?
I immediately felt tears filling my eyes,i tried holding them back but i couldn’t, i felt like he just took a knife and stabbed me right through my heart.he looked at me and quickly pushed the lady,the he grabbed his boxers…
Him:(putting on his boxers)baby it’s not what it looks like,i can explain. Me:(tears rolling down my cheeks)explain what lucky because its obvious what was happening here,am i a fool to you?
Her:(putting on her coat)oh huny you right,it is obvious, my fiancé and i were just making love..
Him:(angrily) shut the fu.ck up and get out of my office now.
Her:(attitude) hell no,am not going anywhere
Him:i said out now(he aggressively pushed her out and threw her bag then he locked the door and turned around facing me then he went down on his knees)baby please am so sorry,this meant nothing,i love you and i want to marry you. Me:fiancee? Really Lucky?and you didn’t tell me this,why?
Him:i was gonna tell you but i needed to broke things up with her first,i love you Me:(shouting angrily)stop saying you love me because you lying,we done.
I ran to the door unlocked it and ran,i was crying i couldn’t believe what he just did,he broke my heart so deeply,my knees were weak but i didn’t stop running,i wanted just to get away from that place,when i reached the road i was breathing very hard i got on the road and i didn’t even looked for coming cars,i just got in the road then i heard a loud bang and everything went black and i was out… .
