Vic pov .

 

“Let’s date ifemi” I said.

 

“Am not sure, I might end up regretting it” she said.

 

“Just give me a chance, just dis one” I said.

 

“U won’t regret it” I said trying to convince her.

 

“I might not be the best, but I can try to be one” I said but she didn’t say anything.

 

“If we are going to date, u can’t cheat on me” she said.

 

“Is dat a yes?” I asked delighted.

 

“Yea” she said.

 

“Second, u must ask my permission before u kiss me I don’t want any sudden kiss” she said.

 

“U mean like dis?” I asked and kissed her unexpectedly.

 

“Vic!” she called.

 

“It was just a question” I said.

 

“Dat is it, we are breaking up” she said.

 

 

“What kind of girl breaks up with someone they started dating like a minute?” I asked.

 

“Well am different” she said standing up.

 

“U are joking right?” I asked worried.

 

“No” she said with a serious face.

 

“OK, am sorry for kissing u” I said getting on my knees while she laughed.

 

“What is funny?” I asked confused.

 

“I was just joking, I got u good” she said pulling out her tongue.

 

“Am definitely going to have my revenge” I said.

 

“If only you can” she said walking away.

 

“Wait for me” I shout but she didn’t stop.

 

I picked my phone from the grass and saw junior looking at us, it’s clearly shown that he is angry and sad.

 

I smirked at him and followed ife.

 

I felt so happy, I finally got the girl.

 

 

Ife pov

 

“Thanks for walking me home” I said to Vic who insisted on walking me home.

 

“My pleasure” he said and bow while we both laughed.

 

“U look beautiful” he said while I smiled.

 

“I can’t believe I almost lost a rare gem like u” he said.

 

“Stop vic, my head is going to explode” I said while he smiled.

 

“I guess I’ll see u tomorrow” I said.

 

“Sadly we have no choice” he said.

 

“But before u go” he said and pulled me closer and kissed me.

 

“Vic not again” I said pulling away.

 

“What if my parent saw us?” I complained.

 

“I just couldn’t help myself” he said.

 

“See u” he said and waved bye at me.

 

“Bye” I waved back and entered the gate.

 

I entered the house and saw my mom with a frown on her face, and my dad looking disappointed.

 

I hope they didn’t see me and Vic.

 

“Good afternoon” I greeted them.

 

“Afternoon” they both said.

 

“Let’s have a talk” my dad said.

 

‘I think they saw us’ I thought shaking.

 

I saw down on the chair next to my dad.

 

“Ife, we have come to a conclusion” my dad said and paused.

 

“Don’t say us, you” my mom said.

 

‘OK, I don’t think it is about me and Vic I thought.

 

“OK, what is dis about?” I asked.

 

“We are moving out in two weeks time” he said.

 

“What?” I asked.

 

“Ife try to understand, dis is important to me” he said.

 

“What about mom’s job and my school, dat is also important to us” I said.

 

“Am not going to argue with u, we are moving out soon. So say goodbye to ur friends” he said and left for his room.

 

‘I can’t an’t believe dis, I just start dating Vic and now we are moving out’ I thought.

 

“Are u OK?” my mom asked.

 

“No, am not” I said and ran to my room.

 

I buried my face on my bed crying.

 

“Why now, why does dis have to happen now” I said crying.

 

My phone beeps.

 

It was Vic, “am missing you already” he texted which made me cry more.

 

Am leaving soon, why me?

I couldn’t concentrate in the class, all my thoughts was on what my papa said.

 

I don’t want to leave Vic.

 

“Ife, Ife!” Vic’s voice snapped me from my thoughts.

 

“Yea” I said.

 

“What is wrong with u?” he asked worried.

 

“Nothing” I lied.

 

“Are u sure, I texted u last night but u didn’t reply” he said.

 

‘How do I tell him am leaving in two weeks time’ I thought.

 

“Did I do anything wrong” he asked.

 

“No” I said.

 

“U did nothing wrong” I said.

 

“Really?” he asked.

 

“Yes, just thinking about something” I said.

 

“OK, u know u can trust and tell me anything right?” he said.

 

“Sure” I said and he pecked my cheeks.

 

“Vic, we are in the class” I said.

 

“So? I have to go to downstairs” he said.

 

“Why?” I asked.

 

“I have something to do for Mr kudus” he said.

 

“Ok” I said.

 

“See u” he said and kissed me again on my cheeks.

 

“Vic!” I called.

 

“Sorry” he said and left.

 

“Senior ife, the principal asked for u” a girl from a lower class said.

 

“Ok” I said and followed her to the principal’s office.

 

“Good morning sir” I greeted.

 

“Yes, pls ur chemistry teacher just came to me and told me dat some of our burette are missing, where is it?” the principal asked.

 

“I don’t know sir” I said.

 

“What do u mean by u don’t know?” he asked slamming his hand on the table while I flinched.

 

“Apart from me, u are the only one with the key and no one has entered the lab dis morning except for ur chemistry teacher and the students who had practicals” he shouted.

 

“But I know nothing” I said.

 

“If u can’t find the burettes, u are getting suspended” he said.

 

“Am in trouble” I said.

 

“Big time!” he said.
