Continuation From the Last Episode:

 

Mari and Ariel both went their separate ways once they came out of the not so good looking house.

 

“Remember to be back once it’s getting dark Ariel.” Mari reminded Ariel.

 

“Of course aunty.” Ariel said.

Realm of the gods:

 

Zeus felt the presence of River a few minutes after his son had left.

 

 

Walking out of nowhere towards Zeus was River.

 

“Ares did as you ask River.” Zeus said gesturing to the dead body of King Reed on the floor. “It was hard getting his body but he managed to do so and by the way, Ares didn’t like this job.”

 

“Thank you for doing this Zeus, I appreciate it a lot.” River said and walked towards Reed’s body, kneeling down beside Reed’s body, River heaved out a sad sigh. “I wish I had spent more time with him, if I had known he would pass away, I would have come back once I heard of his illness.”

 

“But he didn’t want you to, maybe it was for the best he didn’t want anyone to know who you are.”

 

“Yes, and it has given me an advantage to get to the root of finding out who had poisoned my father. Whoever it is, won’t go scot free.” River said in anger.

 

Zeus nodded his head in support of what river said.

 

“You have to be careful if you want to find your father’s killers, and I am sure there are more than one person who had planned his death. Reed was a very good man, a good Wolf, and that drew my attention to him in the first place. His heart is made of gold and that was why he had won when he fought his brother for the throne.” Zeus told River.

 

“Speaking of Isaac, he is back.” River revealed. “I sense him speak at the gathering of the king’s and Queen’s.”

 

“Then you should hold Isaac responsible for your father’s death, how come he reappeared on the day your father died? He is my number one suspect.” Zeus told River.

 

“That’s for you Zeus, but my instincts tell me he is not the one who planned and poisoned my father, he is after the throne but he wouldn’t poison the King.” River said and continued. “Which led me to get another question, how did Isaac get to know about my father’s death?”

 

 

“You have to ask him yourself.”

 

“Will do once I have found out whoever it is that poisoned my father which results in his death.” River said, getting up. River did a sign of X on Reed’s chest and the dead man’s body began to fade away slowly. “Rest on father.” River whispered and watched as Reed’s body faded completely.

 

“He is a good man.” Zeus said again. “It’s a pity he ended this way.” He added and stare at River from head to toes “Your dressing look simple, as if you’re a servant.” Zeus added

 

River nodded. “I want to blend in hence this dress.” River told him and continued.

 

“I will see you soon Zeus and tell Ares thank you.” With that River disappeared.

“I doubt they will come.” Isaac said.

 

“Why do you say so, my Lord?”

 

“They wouldn’t have sneaked to steal his body but let them come. I am ready for them.” Isaac said meaning his words, he wasn’t afraid of the gods not when he now possesses strong powers. “Leave, I want to rest and think.”

 

Jeffrey nodded his head and left the chamber heading for his own.

King Lucas was out of his throne room as he headed out of his kingdom, he needed to see King Leon and discuss something important with him. Changing into his midnight huge Wolf once he was outside the walls of his palace, he ran towards the Vampire Kingdom.

Jeffrey entered his chamber and locked the door behind him. When he turned around, backing the door, a hooded figure was seen sitting on his bed. Jeffrey walked towards the silent figure.

 

“The late King’s body is missing, one of the gods has taken Reed’s body.” Jeffrey told the hooded figure.

 

“Your next plan is to poison Isaac like you did to Reed.” A feminine voice was heard and she gave Jeffrey a little dark bottle. “Make sure you place this potion inside his food he will eat and just like his brother, he will gradually die.”

 

“Don’t you think it will be too obvious if Isaac dies? They might involve Mari.”

 

“Silence Jeffrey and do what I say without questioning.” The female voice was heard. “Just because Mari proves herself to be strong doesn’t mean there is no one left to defeat her, she is weak now that her mate is gone.” She added.

 

“I will do as you say my lady.”

 

“I will stay back in the shadows and watch as the king’s and Queen’s fight for the throne and once they have killed themselves, I will ascend the throne.”

 

“You’ve forgotten about River my Lady.”

 

“River is a child, whether River is a boy or a girl, he or she isn’t my match.” She said and stood up. “I shall await to hear the news of Isaac being poisoned and just in case, the poison won’t have an effect on you even if Isaac tells you to taste from the food you serve him.” With that, fairy wings sprung out of her back and going around in circles twice, she disappeared leaving sand dust behind.

 

Jeffrey quickly lifts up his bed and places the bottle next to a golden bottle which has fairy blood and venom in it, the one he had used to poison King Reed’s.

Ariel headed straight towards the direction of Wolfe Crimson Kingdom and soon, she was standing inside the large palace compound of the Wolfe Crimson

 

 

Kingdom and noticed everyone going about their businesses without an ounce of care about the things around them.

 

No one seems to take notice of her presence.

 

She walked further, staring at everyone and even greeted some of the servants running around, some of them replied her and others didn’t.

 

She continued walking and came to a stop when she saw five young build up male beating up another young male who was on the floor.

 

‘This is odd’ she thought as she stared around and noticed none of the guards or servants tried to stop the five males.

 

From the way they were dressed one could tell their parents were high officials in Wolfe Crimson kingdom.

 

She couldn’t stand there and watch them beat up the male, so she did what her heart told her to do.

 

She was quick enough to stop the leg that was descending towards the male on the floor.

 

“Stop this at once and leave him alone.” She ordered expecting them to obey her and leave but she was wrong.

 

“And who are you pretty thing?” One of the male asked, grinning.

 

“First of all, do not call me pretty and secondly….” She stopped and moved

 

towards the male that spoke and landed him a slap that whipped his head to one side. “Don’t call me a thing.”

 

Holding his side of his cheek, even though he was a wolf but for reasons the pain refused to go, he faced Ariel. “How dare you slap me?” He said in anger, his eyes changing into his Wolf eyes, golden. “I will teach you a lesson so that next time you won’t meddle with what isn’t your business.” He told Ariel and raised up his hand and tried to punch her.

 

 

Ariel crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow staring at him.

 

But his hands didn’t come down as his friends expected, it was frozen midair and was staring at Ariel.

 

No word was spoken but they could feel the air around them thicken. The male who had wanted to punch Ariel suddenly turned around and ran away leaving his bewilderment friends behind. Slowly Ariel turned her gaze to the remaining four and soon they were out of sight.

 

She closed her eyes and reopened before looking down at the male on the floor.

 

Stretching forth her hand to him which he grabbed and stood up.

 

“Thank you.”

 

“What’s your name?” Ariel asked as she noticed how tall he was. Until now she didn’t notice how handsome he was, his broad shoulders were the type Ariel would die to lean her head to.

 

“I’m Royal.”

 

“Ariel.” She said and continued. “Why didn’t you fight back, you are strong, your wolf is strong.”

 

“I am a servant here and it’s my job to be available whenever what you walk on wants to happen.” Royal answered and stared into her eyes.

 

Why had the boys all ran away when they stared into her eyes? And why was she putting on a disguise spell?

 

“Why are you staring at me?” Ariel demanded. Ariel couldn’t deny the shivers that went down to her spine when Royal stared at her.

 

“Your hair colour…” Royal began and stopped.

 

“What happened to my hair colour?” Ariel queried.

 

 

“It looks odd.”

 

“Odd? How? My hair is blond, right?”

 

“No, they look like rivers, like a fountain of water falling but yours is not wetting the ground.” Royal responded.

 

Ariel’s eyes widened in shock.
