Continuation From the Last Episode:

“So what secret do you want to tell me Ariel?” Royal had to ask when a minute passed and Ariel made no move to tell him.

“Come closer to me and bring your head lower so that I can whisper the words into your ears, there are a lot of wolves around us and they will hear my secret.” Ariel told him.

Doing as she said, Ariel brought her lips closer to his ears and said. “You do know witches have powers right?” Royal nodded his head and she continued. “So I used my powers to create my hair.”

Shifting back so he could stare into her eyes, he knew deep within him she was lying but decided to go along. “Okay, so what type of witch are you?” Royal asked.

Ariel didn’t have an answer to that question. “I can’t really remember but I will ask my aunt.” She answered and smiled. “Can I help you with your chores?” She asked quickly trying to change the topic.

“No you can’t do this kind of work I am doing.” Royal responded.

“And why is that?” Ariel demanded.

“Your hands.” Royal responded by gesturing with his head towards her hands.

Staring at her hands and stared back at him. “Nothing is wrong with my hands Royal.” Ariel said.

“I did not say something is wrong with your hands but your hands look smooth with no cut which means you haven’t done this work before, am I right?” Royal asked, smiling.

“Yes but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn it. Am am fast learner.” Ariel told him. “Please.”

“Alright If you insist.”

Airel smiled and Royal smiled back at her.

She joined hands with Royal and they started cleaning his own portion of the kitchen.

Lora who was sitting down on her mate’s throne was up to her when she saw him.

“What happened?” She asked once she saw anger in his eye.

“She denied ever knowing the whereabouts of River.” King Darken answered. “She threatened me Lora, and if not for the past, I would have shown her why I am still called the strongest Demon.” He added boastfully.

“It’s okay my love, there are many ways to catch a fish, so don’t worry or bother yourself, leave Mari to me. I shall pay a visit myself.” Lora told her Mate, earning a smile from him.

“You have to be careful, though, Mari also said she won’t take it lightly with you.” King Darken said, remembering Mari’s threat.

“I am not afraid of her one bit. She isn’t as strong as she is when her Mate was still around. I will get the information from her when I see her.” Lora told her Mate.

“I trust your words Lora.”

Tyler was on his way to the throne room to tell his father his plan but when he reached the throne room and entered, he did not see his father. He walked out and headed for his father’s chamber.

Luckily for him, he met his father there. King Lucas was removing his robe when his son walked right in.

“Did you send the girl away?”

“No father, she saw Royal and went to talk with him. It seems they know each other.” Tyler replied. “I now have a reason to tell people when I reject her.”

“What reason?”

“She is having an affair with Royal and I caught them.”

King Lucas smiled widely and his son smiled too. “Brilliant idea son, a perfect plan.”

Mari felt the touch of someone holding her and tapping her. She slowly opened her eyes and saw him.

It couldn’t be….

“Mari, are you okay? Please don’t faint again.” Luke’s voice was filled with worries.

“Luke… you did not run away like I had thought.” Mari asked, still not believing her eyes.

“No Mari love, your sister deceived me and bound me into her crown to do her bidding.”

“How did that happen? Tell me the whole story Luke.”
