Continuation From the Last Episode:

Queen Latifah noticed a familiar presence in her chamber, she quickly picked up her crown, murmuring a reverse spell to stop the blue smoke from coming, before placing the crown back on her head and stood up to her feet.

Latifah was surprised when she saw her unannounced visitor and it didn’t fail to show in her face.

“Mari, what are you doing here?” Queen Latifah demanded her heart racing fast in fear, she was lucky she acted fast and she hoped Mari didn’t see anything.

“Can’t a sister pay you a visit without telling you first?” Mari asked, going to sit on Latifah’s bed. She glanced around the room.

“Not at all, I was just surprised, seeing you after a long time.” Queen Latifah said. “You know after we fought for him.”

“It’s all in the past now, after all he ran away.” Mari said. “How have you been?” She added.

“I’m great sis.” Queen Latifah answered. “Thank goodness you’ve forgotten about the past Mari, I told you he was not good for you but you didn’t believe me.”

“Yeah and you went behind my back to seduce him, he told me, but it’s all in the past now, no hard feeling sis.”

“Now that I know you won’t blast me with your thunder bolt, my heart is now at rest.” She said. “So should I tell one of my servants to get you food and drinks?”

“No, that won’t be necessary.” Mari answered.

“Why not, you just paid your sister a visit and you are refusing to eat in my home.” Queen Latifah said. “I will be offended if you don’t take at least a cup of water from me.”

“I just ate before coming but to please you, I can only take a cup of water.” Mari said.

“Thank you.” Queen Latifah went and opened her room door, telling one of the guards stationed there to go and get a cup of water for her visitor.”

“You’ve changed this room.” Mari began once she had her sister’s attention. “I remember this room used to be mine.”

“Yeah, I like being I here but you can come back if you still desire.” Queen Latifah said. “After all everything was yours before the incidence between us happened and after that your Mate ran away then you passed down the throne to me.” She added sweetly.

“Nah, I am okay with the place I live, no running around for meetings with the other Kings and Queens, I sleep and wake up as I like. I love the quietness of my home.”

“But still yet, you are lonely. I can get you maids to come and clean up your house you know. Even though I am the Queen, everyone knows you are the rightful Queen and I hope one day you come back to sit on the throne.” Queen Latifah said. ‘And I hope that one day cease to exist.’ she added in her mind.

“Maybe or maybe not.”

“Anyway have you heard about the death of the Floral and her handmaid?”

“No, are you trying to say Floral is dead?” Mari asked.

“Yes, just got to hear about it a few minutes ago.”

“What could have killed her?”

“We don’t know yet but we are hoping to find out who killed her.”

‘Well good luck in finding the killer.’ Mari said in her mind.

“I have to go, I will come back again, though I don’t know when.” Mari announced.

“Thank you for visiting Mari, you don’t know how much it means to see you again.

I am glad you bore no grudges on me.” Queen Latifah said with a fake large smile.

“It’s all in the past now sis, all is forgiven, later.” Mari said and disappeared.

Queen Latifah’s smile faded, she will not summon Luke today, her sister might still be around. She couldn’t take that risk.

She sat down on her bed and decided to take a nap.

Wolfe Crimson Kingdom:

King Lucas was in his chamber when a guard came to tell him of the presence of King Leon and his daughter.

King Lucas was out of his chamber and with lightning speed proceeded to meet his visitors in his throne room.

He hoped that King Leon’s visit should be about what he had discussed with him.

Mari reappeared inside her house and dash to her table, taking a mirror on it, she said a spell and Latifah sleeping body was shown.

Ariel, who was dressed up finely, came out of the room and was surprised to see Mari.

“Aunt, you are back so soon.” Ariel said in surprise.

“Yes Ariel.” Mari responded and began to search for something. She saw what she was searching for, a golden plate, which she placed on the table smiling widely.

“Aunt what are you doing?” Ariel asked, going closer to her and the table.

“You see that crown on Latifah’s head?” Mari pointed at the mirror.

“Yes.” Ariel nodded her head as she stared at the sleeping figure inside the mirror.

“I am going to make a replica of it and steal her crown.” Mari told her with a smirk.
