Continuation From the Last Episode:

 

“What do you mean by that king Simeon? How can Queen Floral die?” Jeffrey found himself asking in uttermost shock.

 

“I don’t know how she died, she screamed out my name and before I could reach her chamber, I found her and the handmaid on the floor, dead.” Simeon explained and then continued. “When the kingdom nurse was invited and thoroughly checked their bodies, there was no trace of mark in their bodies, which means whoever it is that attacked them use something else on them.”

 

“There is more to this, why would someone kill a Queen?” Isaac asks no one in particular.

 

“Why do you say so, my Lord?” King Simone demanded. “My wife doesn’t have a skeleton in her wardrobe.” He added.

 

“Really? Then tell me why would someone kill a Queen and her handmaid?”

 

“To cover up his tracks, maybe the killer saw the handmaid peeping or the handmaid mistakenly walked into the Queen’s chamber and the killer has no other option than to kill both of them.” Jeffrey suggested.

 

“But in Simone’s words, “His wife screamed and before he could reach her chamber, she was dead. Why would his wife scream and not her handmaid?” Isaac asked, staring at the two people in his front. “Think about that.”

 

“You’re right my Lord.” Simeon said after a while of pondering.

 

“Tell me, did you see anyone looking suspicious on your way to your wife’s chamber?”

 

“No, I asked my guards and the servants around if they saw anyone leaving the Queen’s chamber and all said no.” Simeon replied. “You have to do something about this my Lord, as the Millennium Wolf King, you have to find out the killer and bring whoever it is to book.” He added.

 

 

“Are you teaching me my job Simeon?” Isaac asked his one eye twitching in anger.

 

“Not at all my Lord but you should know as the regent representing the whole kingdom, it is your duty to see that every kingdom is safe, that is the work of a Millennium.”

 

“Aren’t you a fairy?” Isaac asked and continued without waiting for a reply. “As a fairy that you are, you ought to know who had killed your darling wife before bringing your wretched self to my palace. Fairies are almost like witches so use your magic before telling a normal werewolf how to do his work.” He added.

 

“I am sorry if you take it as an insult my Lord.”

 

“Your apology is not accepted, leave my presence and carry your cross Simeon. I will do all within my powers to catch the killer and you on the other hand should use your magic powers to do something tangible in finding out the whereabouts of the killer.” Isaac told the fairy King. “And be awake, you never can tell if you’re the next target.”

 

King Simone nodded his head and left the palace, once he was in the compound, he gestured with his head for his fairy bodyguards it’s time to go.

 

“First my brother’s body is missing, and now, the fairy queen is dead.” Isaac said to no one in particular as his back faces Jeffrey.

 

“Maybe the Queen offended the killer hence her death.” Jeffrey chips in.

 

“No, I don’t think so.” Isaac said turning around to leave the throne room. “I am greatly famished again Jeffery, haven’t had enough rest since today. I have been through a lot today, from Mari’s insult to my late brother’s body missing, then Luke attacking me and down to Queen Floral death. Anyway, send me my dinner to my Chambers.” Isaac added and left.

 

“Yes my Lord.” Jeffrey said and stood and watched as Isaac left the throne room. Thank goodness he has been given the potion before their deaths. But he hoped whoever that killed them didn’t get any information that would lead to him.

 

 

Still thinking he left the throne room and proceeded towards the kitchen area to inform the cook to start preparing dinner.

King Lucas changed back into his human form once he was almost at the gate of the Vampire palace, fully clothed. Luckily for him, wolves don’t shred their clothes when transforming into their beast.

 

He was escorted by two of the palace guards to the throne room and two more guards went to inform the King about his presence.

 

King Lucas didn’t have to wait for long when the door to the throne room and King Leon stepped in.

 

“What do I own this august visit if yours?” King Leon demanded not even offering a seat to his guest.

 

“I came here to see you.”

 

“What for?”

 

“What you had whispered into Isaac’s ears, I heard it.” King Lucas began. “I just want to let you know you have an ally which is me to support you with every step you take.” He added. “Isaac needs to be put in his place.”

 

“What is your catch king Lucas?” King Leon demanded not denying the words from Lucas.

 

“You can have the entire kingdom all to yourself but you must allow the Wolfe Crimson kingdom to make its own decisions. I won’t be under you.”

 

“And what made you think I would accept?”

 

King Lucas smiled. “Like I told you before, I am your strongest ally, think of what I just said.” He said and left the Vampire King presence.

Mari and Ariel returned home almost together.

 

“Were you hiding somewhere around so you can come out once I am here?” Mari asked as she used her magic to unlock the door.

 

“No aunty.” Ariel answered. “What did you find out?” They went inside and Mari went to sit on her study table, Ariel was standing next to her.

 

“Nothing, what about you?”

 

“I met my Mate.”

 

“Tell me you are joking.”

 

“I am not, I will see him tomorrow. He is handsome and a wolf.”

 

“A wolf? Lucky for you Ariel.” Mari said. “Make sure you bring him here to introduce me to him.”

 

“Will do.” Ariel said. “Actually there is something else, someone saw through my disguise and described my hair Aunty. I was shocked.”

 

“That is impossible, no one can see through your disguise.”

 

“He saw right through me.”

 

“Let me see.” Mari said and stretched out her hand and touched Ariel’s forehead.

 

After a while she removed her hand from her forehead and stared at her in shock.

 

“What is it aunty? Why are you staring at me like that?”

 

“Can you invite him over?”

 

 

“I don’t know but I will try my best when I visit Tyler.” Ariel responded. “But why that look after you touched my hand, aunty?”

 

“He looks so familiar to me Ariel like I have met him before. I could have said he is the one but his hair is not white neither is it bringing out Ice.”

 

“I do not understand what you are saying aunty.” Ariel said. “But if you are talking about him, Royal is a servant in Wolfe Crimson kingdom.”

 

“But he looks so much like the Wolf god my stupid mate had introduce me to once.” Mari said and what Ariel said clicked in her head. “Did you say his name is Royal?”

 

“Yes aunty, his name is Royal, he told me himself and he is really cute.” Ariel replied. “I think I might like him.”

 

“Strange.” Mari mused aloud to herself.

 

“What’s strange Aunty?”

 

“The Wolf god name is also Royal.”
