Chapter fifteen

 

 

Seye pov

 

“Ma…..” I stammered.

 

“Did I interrupt something?” She asked as both me and Ariyike looked at each other in embarrassment.

 

“No ma, I was just about to leave” I said heading for the door.

 

“Goodnight”

 

“Wait, let me see you off” Ariyike offered.

 

“Why? His house is not far away” her mom asked with a mocking smile. “Yes, you do not have to”

 

“See you tomorrow” I said and left the house.

 

I rest my back at their door, I was tensed.

 

She totally ruined the moment for us.

 

I remember the kiss, it would have end differently if she didn’t come in.

 

It feels good confessing my feelings for her.

 

I really like her a lot.

 

Wow.

 

“This feel good” I shouts.

 

 

“Who is that?” I could hear Ariyike’s mom voice.

 

I quickly ran to my apartment.

The next morning

 

 

“Arrgh” I said as the alarm I set woke me up I looked at the time, it was 7:30.

 

“Oh my god” I said and stood up quickly.

 

I have 30 minutes before Ariyike goes to work.

 

I ran to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and showered, I won’t call it a bath.

 

When I got out and looked at the time it was already 7:45.

 

I went to my closet and pick the clothes I prepared yesterday.

 

I quickly put it on, spray the perfume on my body, comb and styled my hair.

 

I smelled and looked great.

 

I got out and head to the main compound.

 

I got there but couldn’t find her car, I sighed out disappointed.

 

That is bad, I want to see her off to work and then go and pick her up again.

 

So bad.

 

“Seye” I heard and I smiled as I looked at Ariyike who was coming from her house.

 

 

“Why are you here?”

 

“I thought you were gone, since I didn’t see your car”

 

“Oh that, my mom took it” she said while I nod.

 

“But why?”

 

“I want to see you off to work” I said and she blushed.

 

“You don’t have to”

 

“Of course, I want to see your pretty face every morning, every time I get a chance.

 

I won’t miss a day of seeing that beautiful face” I said lost in her beauty.

 

“Shall we?” I asked offering my hand for her to hold.

 

“Ok” she smiled and held my hand.

 

We walked to the gate holding hands the gateman opened the gate for us and we stepped out.

 

Ariyike remove her hand when she saw Tosin the last person I wished to see.

 

“You two?” she said surprised.

 

What exactly is her problem?

 

“You must be surprised but your plan didn’t work and will never will” I said and hold Ariyike’s hand as we walked pass her.

 

No matter what she does, she won’t be able to break what I have for Ariyike.

 

 

Dolapo pov

 

 

I can’t believe they are still together, but wait they were holding hands, does that mean they are dating.

 

My plan didn’t break them but brought them together.

 

“What should I do?”

 

I can’t let them be together, I have one last card but am not sure if it will work

 

But at least it is worth trying.

 

My last card to break them up.

 

Seye Oludare, wait and see.

 

*In the afternoon*

 

 

Ariyike pov

 

(In my office)

 

I sat on my seat uncomfortable, shaking my leg, looking at the time.

 

Just a minute to go.

 

“Yes” I said as the time clocked 6.

 

I picked up my bag excited, at the same time nervous.

 

Am having a date with Seye tonight.

 

The date we couldn’t go to, all because of those evil people.

 

I can’t wait to see his handsome face.

 

He said he is going to come and pick me up.

 

I heard a knock on my door, “who is it?” I asked.

 

The person entered without permission.

 

Behold it was Tosin, the girl claiming to be my Seye’s girlfriend.

 

“What do you want?”

 

“To see you” she answered and sat without my permission.

 

I also went to my chair and sit.

 

“You do know you aren’t welcome here” i said not caring about her feelings.

 

I didn’t like her from the beginning.

 

“Is that so? But today I’ve come to tell you something that will favour you” she said.

 

“What?” I asked curious.

 

“Do you know who your boyfriend is?” She asked which kind of flummoxed me.

 

“What do you mean?” I asked.

 

“The person you know your boyfriend to be, is not the person he is” she said. “Then who is he?”

 

“He is…..”

 

 

Seye pov

 

I waited outside Ariyike’s office with a flower.

 

Today, she is officially going to be my girlfriend.

 

I can’t express how happy I am.

 

I sighted her coming out of her office, she looked puzzled, perplexed. “Ariyike” I called and flashed her a smile “Who the hell are you?” She asked.

 

“What do you mean?”

 

“You lied to me again, this time you aren’t who you claim to be.”

 

“Mr Seye Oludare.”

 

What the fu.ck, how did she know?
