❌Kyle’s POV❌
“Pucker up pretty Violet! I’m about to save your life. ” I muttered to myself as I brought my lips closer to hers.
I was about placing my lips on hers but a slight tap stopped me. I looked to my side to see Anna, her friend staring at me with a “What do you think you’re doing Mister? ” look.
“Excuse me. ” She said pointedly pushing me away before proceeding to open Violet’s mouth and gently place her lips on hers.
I looked away, gagging at the act. Anna separated from Violet moments later and pressed her stomach for a while until Violet started coughing out water.
“Thank goodness! ” I exclaimed to myself, thankful she’d woken up even though I didn’t show it.
Weird right?
Anna helped Violet to her feet and led her away from the swimming pool. I was about following them when a beautiful brunette blocked my path, a seductive smile on her face. I could tell it was a clear invitation but I found myself shuffling away from her heading the same way Violet did even though I didn’t know why.
“I only wanted her to wake up because of the bet and I know that I know that she’s awake, why do I still care? ” I asked myself as I changed back into my school uniform in the boys locker room and headed out to find Violet.
I found her in front of her locker, her hair still wet from being in the water…
“Your hair smells nice.” I whispered into her ear as I stood behind her.
“What the heck is with you Kyle? Can’t you just take a hint and freaking leave me alone? You’re a pain in the butt! Don’t you get that? ” She yelled pushing me away.
“What I don’t get is why you can’t stand being around me. A lot of girls would be honored to have me spend so much time around them. ”
“Well go meet them and leave me the hell alone. First it was my chair in study hall then the damn violets and now you almost killed me in the pool. Will it kill you to just leave me alone? ” She yelled glaring at me before walking away.
“Violet wait! ” I yelled running after her.
“What do you want now Kyle? ”

“I can’t leave you alone at least not for today… ” I sighed. “I’m your slave for today remember? ”

Violet’s POV
“I’m your slave for today remember? ” He said bringing my mind back to the bowling game, the anger at him kissing someone else and the stupid dream.
I quickly pushed the memories away as I stared at him shrugging.
“I remember and? ”
“I’m your slave right now so I can’t leave you alone. ”
“And why not? In fact that’s what I want! Just leave me alone for the rest of the day. ”
“I’m sorry Ma’am but I can’t do that. ”
frowned. “Why not? ”
“I’m your servant Ma’am. What if you need something? ” “What I need is you to be away from me! ”
“That’s one order I can’t carry out! ”
“Fuck off Kyle! And freaking leave me alone! I’m warning you! ” I said sternly before turning on my heels and walking away.
“Kyle! Stop it! ” I yelled turning when I heard his footsteps behind me.
I turned again and continued walking, stopping again when I heard his footsteps.
“Come on Kyle! It’s annoying! Just leave me alone! ”
“I’m sorry Ma’am. I can’t leave you! ” He replied smirking.
“What if you can’t catch me? ” I muttered before taking off. I’m a pretty fast runner so I ran until I was sure Kyle wasn’t following me anymore.
“Good! Lost him! ” I muttered still panting as I stood beside a locker.
“Lost who? ” Someone said behind me, startling me.
“Oh! It’s only you Dylan! ”
“Yeah. It’s me. Hello stranger! ”
“Don’t be like that! You’re the one who got back with your girlfriend! How is she by the way? ”
“Better. She obviously doesn’t want what happened before to happen again… Now who are you hiding from? ”
“It’s your annoying cousin Kyle. He can’t seem to take a hint! ”
“Oh! He can be like that. Is he bothering you that much? Maybe I can talk to him. ”
“No need! It’s nothing I can’t handle myself. ” I said smiling.
“You sure? ”
“Yeah I am… ”
Just then, the bell rang.
“Okay then. I have one more class and I’m done. See you later Kyle! ”
“Yeah sure. ”

I managed to avoid Kyle throughout the rest of my classes. Once the bell was rung, I was already out waiting only to say goodbye to Anna.
I met up with my driver at the usual spot where he drove me home.
I was only able to relax when I was finally home. Kyle was just really on my nerves.
I’d barely settled down in my room when someone informed me that I had a guest at the door.
I opened the door and lo and behold, the person at the door was none
other than…..
