Violet’s POV
The kiss took me by surprise but I quickly recovered and kicked Kyle in his area. He let go of me almost immediately groaning in pain.
“You’re pathetic Kyle. So damn pathetic! ” I said as I walked to the bathroom.
In the bathroom, I splashed water on my face trying desperately to get rid of the image of the kiss but it didn’t seem to work which was weird. Kyle never had any effect on me before. Why is it different now?

❌Kyle’s POV❌
“Dude, are you sure you won’t back out? It’s obvious you’re not getting in bed with Violet anytime soon? ”
I rolled my eyes.
“If this is your idea of discouraging me Jay, you’re doing a very bad job at it. ”
He snickered.
“Oh well, it’s your problem. ” He said before walking away.
I sighed. Why was Violet playing hard to get? Why can’t she be like the others and happily jump into my arms?
Either way, I’ll have her at the end of the day. Nothing is going to change that and I think I know how to go about it.

“Hey Violet. ” I said taking my seat beside her.
“What do you want Kyle? ” She asked lowly. “If it’s to blackmail me again….

“Of course not Violet…. I just want us to be friends. ”
“Well no. You disgust and I don’t want to have anything to do with you.
Goodbye! ” She said with a tone of finality as she stood up.
“Come on Violet. I’m really serious… Look I’m sorry for kissing you and I promise it won’t happen again…at least not without your permission. ” I said winking.
“What exactly are you up to Kyle? Why are you asking to be my friend now? Look I’m not interested. ”
“Why? Are you scared you’re going to fall for me? ”
She scoffed.

“Oh really? Then I dare you to come on a date with me this afternoon….that’s if you’re not scared? ”
She rolled her eyes.
“Reverse psychology doesn’t work on me Kyle but if it’ll get you off my back, I will come on a date with you…but if you dare tell anyone that we’re dating again, I will murder you. We clear? ”
“Clear! See you later V. ” I said as I left her to her studying.
I might as well call the guys to start preparing their girls because once this date is over, what happens next is sure .

Violet’s POV
It took everything in me to keep from face palming myself as I stared at my closet.
Why exactly did I agree to this date with Kyle? I haven’t been on a date in ages and now I’m facing the insurmountable problem of choosing what to wear.
I don’t even know why I care. I’m only going on a date with Kyle. It shouldn’t be a big deal but for whatever reason, it is.
“Argghhh! ” I yelled plonking on my bed with a sigh on my lips.
I haven’t felt this way about going on a date since Aaron. Does it mean
that…..
No no no no! I don’t have a crush on Kyle. I can’t won’t shouldn’t mustn’t
have a crush on him……..
He’s the enemy and besides I don’t believe in love anymore… Right?
“Well, it’s the only logical explanation. ” My subconscious muttered.
“No, it’s not. ” I muttered back.
All of a sudden, I heard a knock at the door.
“Come in. ” I said sitting up.
“Sorry to interrupt Miss. You have a visitor. “The maid said leaving me wondering.
A visitor? But no one knows where I live….
“Could it be Kyle or maybe it’s Anna? ” I wondered walking down stairs to meet my visitor.
It turned out to be neither Kyle nor Anna. Instead, it was someone else.
“Dylan!? ” I exclaimed in surprise as I alighted from the stairs
