Joseph shouted with all his might but none of them answered, but he didn’t stop shouting.

 

 

 

After Vanessa left to the party the twins and Katie were in the parlour eating pizza.

 

 

 

Katie was disturb with Joseph shouting from his room but she was helpless.

 

don’t you think we should unchain him?” Katie said.

 

 

 

no….let him stay there, that’s for what he has been doing to us” Paul said.

 

that doesn’t mean we should lock him like a dog” Katie said.

 

 

 

wait Katie, are you going soft on him….cause it’s seems you like him already” Paulina said.

 

 

 

whatever, what about what he’s saying about sister being in danger” she said.

 

of course he will say anything to stop her from going” Paul said.

 

 

 

he’s saying like he’s scared” Katie said.

 

don’t mind him, he likes drama” paul said then saw Katie taking some piece of pizza.

 

 

 

where are you taking that?” Paul asked.

 

I’m taking it to him, we can’t starve him” Katie said.

 

 

 

then let him, that’s what he did to us too” Paulina said.

 

 

 

well he’s been nice to me….so it’s right I return the favour” Katie said then took the pizza to Joseph’s room.

 

 

 

 

” Katie, thank God Katie, you need to let me go, your sister is in danger” Joseph said.

 

Paul said you will say that……i brought pizza for you to it” she said then sit on the bed.

 

 

 

you’re not taking me seriously, I’m telling you your sister is in danger and if you love her then you have to let me save her before it’s too late” Joseph said.

 

 

 

how did you know that? ” she asked.

 

I had a dream and my dream always come to pass” Joseph said.

 

 

 

just a dream?…..listen I’m sorry for drugging but I’m only trying to help my sister ” Katie said.

 

 

 

Katie, you need to unchain me” Joseph said.

 

even if I wanted to I can’t, the key is with Paul and I can’t take it from him” she said.

 

 

 

I’m very sure there’s something you can do, or maybe a spare key” Joseph said.

 

alright……maybe there’s something” Katie said then went out of the room.

 

 

 

Katie went to the kitchen then pour out juice into three glass cup then add the sleeping pills to two of it then went to give it to the twins.

 

 

 

that boy is indeed crazy…..he just keep ranting about sister being in trouble” Katie said as she got to them.

 

 

 

I told you……he’s sick upstairs” Paulina said taking one juice, katie quickly take the one without the pills then Paul also take the last one.

 

 

 

Katie waited for a while for the pills to kick in then she notice them started dozing off.

 

 

 

After they slept off Katie check Paul’s pocket and bring out the key, she ran to Joseph’s room.

 

 

 

 

” oh you’re here……be fast” Joseph said then she use the key to unlock the padlock then unchained him.

 

 

 

Joseph stood up and ran downstairs then see the twins asleep on the couch then he turned to Katie.

 

 

 

nice job” he said to her.

 

don’t leave the house, don’t go anywhere……okay” Joseph said.

 

 

 

okay……bring her back safely” she said and Joseph went out.

Joseph POV

As I went out of our estate I stopped a bike and I was surprised that the Bikeman is the same as the one I saw in my dream.

 

 

 

” OH MY GOD, it’s happening already” I thought.

 

 

 

I told the bikeman the address of the place then he took me there, as we got to the address I gave to him.

 

 

 

I looked around and see that it’s exactly the clubhouse I saw in my dream. I payed the Bikeman then went to the clubhouse but I was stopped by the bouncer.

 

 

 

you can’t enter” the bouncer said and I waited no time as I punched him and he fell down.

 

 

 

I ran in and was surprised when i saw how many people that’s here.

 

 

 

OH GOD, this is a mass destruction” I thought.

 

 

 

I can’t let all this people perish” I thought then went to the front where the DJ is playing.

 

 

 

I look all over the place to search for Vanessa then I saw her dancing with her friends.

 

I shouted for everyone to leave but they didn’t hear me, I don’t even hear my own voice.

 

 

 

I told the DJ to stop the music but he didn’t listen then I went to the plug that power the club and switched it off which stop everything and everywhere became Silent and dark.

 

 

 

Everyone wondering what’s going on which is exactly what I wanted, now some people bring out their phone and On the touch.

 

 

 

GET OUT” I shouted but no one flinch or made a movement.

 

 

 

All of you get out of here, this place is about to explode……Get out now” I shouted and everyone Screamed as they rushed outside.

 

 

 

Even the DJ left his electronic devices and went out, I also ran out of the place and went outside.

 

 

 

As I got outside I looked for Vanessa but couldn’t find her then I saw her friends and went to them.

 

 

 

where’s Vanessa? ” I asked them.

 

heyy you, what are you doing here?” the black one asked.

 

 

 

just answer my question, where is She?” I asked.

 

calm down, she went to grab her bag inside” she said.

 

 

 

She did whaaat?” I said then ran back inside, I entered the place and called her name.

 

 

 

I saw a smoke coming from a room then fire broke out of there then I know it’s about time, then I keep searching for Vanessa.

 

 

 

I look around the place and saw her on the ground unconscious, I went to her then carry her.

 

I noticed that she was drunk, then as I turned to leave I realised the fire cover the main door.

 

 

 

I turn around for to look for another way then I saw a back door then I follow there.

 

 

 

I ran as fast as I could carrying Vanessa and as I reached the gate the building exploded which sent both of us to the ground.

 

 

 

I stood up immediately and carry Vanessa again and ran away from that place.

 

 

 

I can see people from far away looking at the burning building, I walked to the main road and stopped a taxi which took us to our place.

 

 

 

The taxi stopped at the estate gate and I payed him, the estate guard looked at our faces then opened the gate for us.

 

 

 

what happen to her?” the guard asked.

 

she was drunk” I answered.

 

okay, you may go” he said then I keep walking till I reached our house.

 

 

 

I opened the gate then went inside, as I got to the door Katie opened it and I entered.

 

what happened?” she asked.

 

 

 

don’t worry she will be fine, lock the door” I said to her then carried her to her room.

 

 

 

I laid her down on her bed then left her room, I went to the parlor and took the twins also to their rooms.

 

 

 

I went to the kitchen to cook noodles for myself as I haven’t eaten.

 

” is she going to be fine? ” Katie asked as she entered.

 

yeah, she will be…..she’s just drunk that’s all” I said.

 

so it’s true about her being in danger just like you dreamt” Katie said.

 

 

 

yeah” I said

 

thank you for saving her? ” she said.

 

you don’t have to……it’s luck” i said.

 

 

 

I’m cooking noodles, want to eat?” i said.

 

yes, I couldn’t eat much of the pizza” she said.

 

okay then” I said.

 

 

 

After the food is done I dished it out and we eat, after eating we cleaned the house and went to bed.

I woke up quite late today cause I slept late so I went to take a shower then get dressed.

 

 

 

I went downstairs see no one which means they are still sleeping, I went to the kitchen to make them tea and also prepare something light for breakfast.

Author’s POV

Vanessa woke up with a hangover due to the alcohol she took last night. She went to the bathroom and to take her bath.

 

 

 

Then it came down on her as she couldn’t recall how she got home, she try to think if she could remember anything but nothing came up.

 

 

how did I get home?…… Who brought me here?……how did I get on the bed?” those are the questions roaming in her head.

 

 

 

She came out of the bathroom went to her wardrobe and get dressed, then she came out and went to the kitchen.

 

 

 

As she entered she saw Joseph making tea which is exactly what she needed, then Joseph turned back and see Vanessa standing behind him.

 

 

 

you are awake” joseph said but she didn’t say anything.

 

 

 

I guess you are need this” Joseph giving her a cup of tea.

 

is this part of your trick?” she asked.

 

 

 

no….not at all” Joseph replied then she drank the tea.

 

 

 

you can’t tell my parent about my party last night” she said.

 

okay no problem” Joseph replied.

 

 

 

I don’t trust you…so what do you want” she said.

 

 

 

oh serious, I won’t tell your parent” Joseph said wondering if she remember about anything that happened last night.

 

 

 

yeah whatever” she said then went to the parlor.

Joseph’s POV

Since there’s some slice bread in the house so I decided to fry some eat along.

 

It didn’t take some for it to be done then I dish it all out seperately.

 

The twins entered the kitchen and we’re surprised to see me.

 

 

 

you are supposed to be chained up in your room” Paul said.

 

 

 

yeah, sorry about that…katie help me out by putting some sleeping pills in your juice” I said.

 

 

 

I knew it….no wonder I didn’t remember walking to my bed” Paulina said.

 

you’re going to tell mom right? ” she asked.

 

 

 

we will see about that” I replied.

 

who cares he can do whatever he want” Paul said and they left.

 

 

 

As I was taking them to the dinning I saw the twins sitting with Vanessa on the couch whispering to each other.

 

 

 

Not long after Katie also came down and I called the rest to join us at the dinning.

 

 

 

Everyone seated and Katie look at me like she’s trying to tell me something but I don’t get it.

 

 

 

did my sister apologize to you? ” she spoke up and everyone was confused.

 

what are you talking about?” Paulina said.

 

 

 

c’mon stop it…..it’s not a big deal” Joseph said.

 

Sis, you need to apologize to him” Kate said again looking at vanessa.

 

 

 

heyy, I won’t apologize just because I decided to have some fun, if you wanted you can report to mom for all I care” Vanessa said.

 

 

if you are waiting for me to apologize then you’re gonna have to wait for eternity……cause that ain’t gonna happen” She added.

 

 

 

you really don’t know what happen do you?…….do you know how you got home yesterday?” katie asked.

 

 

 

I guess one of my friends brought me here” she said.

 

 

 

FYI…..none of your friends did…..Joseph here brought you home while you are drunk and wasted” Katie said.

 

 

 

how did you find me?” Vanessa asked me.

 

that’s not the question you should be asking?……do you even know what happen at the club?” Katie said.

 

 

 

what happened?” Vanessa asked.

 

 

 

don’t asked me……check the news” Katie said then she went to the TV and check all the station showing news until the she stopped at the one talking about the explosion.

 

 

 

Paul and Paulina also went to her to check it out as they were shocked.

 

 

 

I told you not to go cause you are in danger but you didn’t listen, after Katie freed me I had to take a taxi to the place.

 

 

 

I told everyone to get out and I saw you on the ground drunk so I took you out before the place exploded and brought you home” I explained.

 

 

 

” you hear that, we should be grateful to him and to God if not what do you think would’ve happened ” Katie said and they were speechless.

 

 

 

 

” despite our rudeness towards him he still took care of us just as mom told him to” Katie said.

 

 

 

it’s okay Katie……that’s enough…..let’s eat” I said.

 

 

 

I’m sorry for my rude behavior towards you and the awful things I said to you ” Katie said.

 

it’s okay Katie…..c’mon let’s eat” I said then we started eating.

 

 

 

The twins came over to the dinning table and kneeled before me.

 

 

 

we are sorry for everything we did to you……please forgive us” they said and I pull them up.

 

 

 

I’m not angry with you, I have took you as my own sibling” I said then look at vanessa as she was still transfixed at the TV.

 

 

 

I told them to eat and then we heard the doorbell chime which signify that someone is at the gate and I wondered who it is.

 

 

 

don’t worry, I will check it out” Paul said then ran outside to check, I also move to the window to see who it is as Paul opened the gate.

 

 

 

I saw Paul hugging the person and I was surprised to see Mrs Richards coming.

 

Guys, it’s your mom ” I announced and Vanessa jump up.

 

 

 

Mom is back? ” Paulina said and Vanessa quickly switched off the TV came to kneel before me.

 

 

 

please, don’t tell my mom about it……i will do whatever you want just don’t tell her” Vanessa pleaded and I was surprised at her reaction.

 

 

 

it okay Vanessa I won’t, just stand Up before she noticed something is wrong” I said and she did.

 

 

 

please forgive me…..I’m so sorry” she said.

 

” it’s okay, all is well” I said then Mrs Richards entered.

 

 

 

“Mommie” Katie shouted as she and Paulina went to hug their mother.

 

 

 

heyy my darlings, how are doing?” Mrs Richards said.

 

 

 

fine mom, how was your trip?” Paulina asked.

 

it’s fine dear” she replied.

 

 

 

welcome back Mom” Vanessa said as she went to meet her.

 

welcome back ma” I also said.

 

 

 

how are you?…..joseph” she asked.

 

fine ma” I replied and she sat on the couch.

 

Mom, what did you bring for us?” Katie asked.

 

 

 

it’s in the bag” Mrs Richards said and katie went to check it.

 

Vanessa, is everything alright?….you don’t look so good” Mrs Richards asked.

 

 

 

I’m fine mom” she replied then Mrs Richards turned to me.

 

Joseph, I’m very grateful for taking care of them…..I’m proud of you” she said.

 

 

 

thank you ma” I replied.

 

hope they didn’t give you much problem? ” she asked again.

 

 

 

I manage ma” I said.

 

Vanessa, are you sure you’re okay” Mrs Richards asked as she noticed her face.

 

 

 

 

” mom I’m fine” she replied then we heard another doorbell chime.

 

who could that be?” Paul asked.

 

 

 

it could be your father……i called him this morning and he said he will be back today” Mrs Richards said and Paul also went to check it out.

 

 

 

After a while Paul came and announced that they are police officers along with Vanessa’s friends.

 

 

 

We all went out to know what’s happening and Vanessa’s friends were surprised to see her.

 

 

 

what’s going on officers?” Mrs Richards asked.

 

 

 

some kids are celebrating a birthday party at a clubhouse which got exploded yesterday, and this two girls here said they didn’t see your daughter come out before the place got exploaded” the officer said and Mrs Richards seems confused.

 

 

 

what are you talking about? I just came back from a trip so I don’t understand any of this” Mrs Richards said.

 

 

 

your daughter went to a party last night and the place exploded, thanks to God for a unknown boy which saves them all……….her friends came to meet us at the station that they didn’t see your daughter come out of the club, so we came here to check it out” the other officer said.
