It’s been seven days now since Bella left my house. I have never been the same since then. I found out that I had a hint of love for her since I was missing her so much.

While coming back from work that same day, I stopped by her house just to say hello. I guess that will be a way for me to apologise for ever making her cry. I mean, she didn’t do anything wrong.

Once I got there, I came out of the car and walked into the compound. Walking towards the door, I stopped when I saw Bella standing. Not only standing, she was also crying and holding her tummy. What could be going on? I made to take a step but I stopped when her mom came out of the house. I turned back. I guess this is not the right time for me to come. I got into my car, locked the car door and droved away.

I stood by the corner holding up my tummy. Tears trickled down my jaw. I didn’t know I was pregnant until I took a test while coming back from Lisa’s house. The result said positive which means I am really pregnant. I couldn’t control the tears. They flew freely. How

am I going to tell Bryan?.

Still in my sober state, my mom walked out, seeing me in tears. I quickly wiped my tears and maintained a cool and calm face.

“What is it Bella? Why are you crying? What’s going on with you?” my mom questioned.

“It’s nothing mom. Am fine”. I answered shocked.

She smiled and laughed hard.

“Are you trying to tell me that you are not hiding anything from me?” She asked again which took me by surprise.

“It’s nothing mom, you don’t have to worry about me”.

“Ok Bella, So tell me the father of that child in your stomach”. She threw in cutting me off my heart.

I was surprised. Father? Child?.

I made to lie but it’s just so clear that she just caught me.

“How did you know mom?* I asked.

“Common Bella, am your mother and above all am a mother so tell me”.

I became a little shy.

“Mom I have a lot to say, please just follow me in so I can tell you “. I added.

“I will, let’s go”. She followed in and we sat in the couch inside the sitting room.

Once I finished with my touching story, Our eyes were already filled with tears. My mom cried like never before. She couldn’t believe I did all these just for her.

After the tears, my mom came with a final decision; that I will tell Bryan about the pregnancy the following day

I was alarmed!!

“Mom I can’t! Remember he asked me out of his house and his life?”. I answered.

“I know Bella but right now, that’s the best option. I mean he is responsible for the pregnancy and I guess he will accept it”.

“But what if he doesn’t?”

“Bella always be positive! You’ll tell him about the pregnancy and he’ll accept, that’s all.”

“Ok mom”. I poked my lip as if I was angry and walked out.

I brought out a bottle of juice from the refrigerator as my mind ran back to Bella. What could be happening to her? I wish I had not let her go the other day. I just found out that I am incomplete without her.
