I raised my head as I felt someone squeeze my hands tightly

 

 

 

Skyler?? I caressed her hands gently but her eyes were clothes

 

 

 

Her body temperature is warm and okay, just like the way it should be

 

 

 

Promzy, jenny, Rhett and David ran inside , we called the doctor

 

 

 

The doctor checked her heartbeat, it wasn’t normal, her body is becoming cold as ice

 

 

 

“Doc, what’s going on? Is she gonna be fine?

 

 

 

Doctor : well, her situation is so critical, her blood isn’t moving the way it is supposed to move

 

 

 

I still don’t understand why she hasn’t waken up yet, but I know she’s gonna be okay in no time

 

 

 

And the truth is that, she might loose her memory, she might remember her name

 

 

 

She might remember some of her friends, but she won’t be able to remember everything.

 

 

 

As times goes on, she might recover her memory, we really can’t predict what will happen.

 

 

 

The doctor left, we were all speechless, Skyler plsss, don’t do this to us

 

 

 

We love and cherish you so much, just wake up already..

 

 

 

I walked outside as I called my mom

 

 

 

Ray: mom pls don’t bring Skyler’s mom back here in the hospital

 

 

 

Skyler’s condition is a little bit abnormal, just stay with her at home

 

 

 

Assure her that everything is gonna be fine, if anything comes up am gonna call you

 

 

 

Mom : alright dear, please take care of yourself and the other people okay?

 

 

 

Ray: sure mom.

 

 

 

I ended the call and rested behind a tree, prom is coming up next two weeks

 

 

 

Practice has started already, world concert is coming up too

 

 

 

I guess Skyler is gonna miss all of this right? Worst part, am stuck with Becky

 

 

 

Can my life get any better?

 

 

 

I walked back to the hospital, I opened the door to the room

 

 

 

I sat down with the guys, as we all stared at Skyler…

 

 

 

Suddenly I felt a tap on the bed, what??

 

 

 

Skyler opened her eyes slowly, I signalled them not to scream

 

 

 

The oxygen was still in her nose, she started gasping for breath, I pulled off the oxygen and watched her breath heavily

 

 

 

We all stood beside her, waiting for er reaction, she’s really awake

 

 

 

She looked at our faces one after the other, her expression was that of disappointment and confusion

 

 

 

“Skyler are you okay?” Jenny asked with a soft tone

 

 

 

“Who the hell are you?” Skyler replied in confusion

 

 

 

“Skyler don’t you remember your friends? Jenny, promzy, Rhett, David and ray” jenny said about to cry

 

 

 

“Am sorry I don’t know any of you, can I see my mom?” Skyler replied feeling really tired

 

 

 

I stood right in the same spot, I couldn’t say any thing, Skyler just broke my heart

 

 

 

She can’t recognize anybody at all, shes cold and different…

 

 

 

The doctor came in and did a checkup on her, the gave us some drugs to give to Skyler.

 

 

 

So she can be discharged tomorrow.

 

 

 

Jenny and the rest feel disappointed, promzy couldn’t control her tears either

 

 

 

I walked out of the hospital, I got into my car and drove off to an unknown location.

 

 

 

Why is life so cruel???

Why is everybody around me are so strange? I don’t even know them

 

Yet they keep on telling me memories and the times we spent together

 

 

 

Yea, my name is Skyler, I know my mom and my moms friend

 

 

 

Buh I don’t remember anything else

 

 

 

And these people around me, the are so nice and caring although I don’t know them

 

 

 

But this guy called Rhett, he’s so handsome, he got pink lips, and I love his sexy eyes

 

 

 

Uhmm, is he engaged? Does he have a girlfriend?

 

 

 

Well, let’s give it a try.

 

 

 

I ate on my bed as they all watched me, I barely finished my food when my mom ran in

 

 

 

Mom!! I screamed as she hugged me so tight with tears flowing from her eyes

 

 

 

Mom: baby are you alright?

 

 

 

Skyler: yes mom, am fine, the doctor said I can be discharged tomorrow

 

 

 

Mom: aiit sweedy, I know you are so happy to see your friends again

 

 

 

Skyler: uhmm , they are strangers, they are not my friend

 

 

 

Mom : wait don’t you remember ray?

 

 

 

Skyler:who is ray? His name sounds like that of a bad guy

 

 

 

Mom : no, he’s handsome, gentle and caring, you loved him so much

 

 

 

Skyler : no mom, the only person I ever loved is nobody. Absolutely nobody.

“Skyler, i hope you can recover soon, pls don’t let Becky take your place”

 

 

 

“You need to get back in your senses, Becky is gonna take everything away before you wake up”

 

 

 

I said to Skyler as she focused her attention on me

 

 

 

Skyler : I don’t know who this Becky is, and I don’t care if she takes everything away from me
