As I kept thinking and pondering on who nnekah was, Charles was still busy working his lips all over my body. He noticed I wasn’t reciprocating his advances anymore, so he asked with a slight sexy tone “Is everything alright?”, I ignored his question still looking into his eyes.

“You called me nnekah not just long ago when you were caught up in the mood, who’s she?” I asked. With a shocked face he replied saying, “It must have been a slip of tongue, I don’t know any nnekah”.

“Why on earth would you have the name of another lady on your lips during an intimate moment between us?” I asked. He was puzzled and didn’t know what to say.

I told him to get off my body so I can continue my shower. He left the bathroom and I broke down in tears cause I knew Charles was cheating on me.

By the time I was done bathing, he had already left and dropped a note on my bed that read “Whatever thoughts you have up in your head isn’t true, I love you alone and no one else”.

I felt a bit emotional, so I picked my phone and called him to apologise. “Baby I’m sorry” I said when he picked the call. “It’s ok, I’ll see you tomorrow”, he said.

I couldn’t sleep well throughout the night as I kept thinking if Charles was innocent and wasn’t cheating. My instinct kept telling me something was wrong but I didn’t want to push it any further.

The next day, I happen to bump into Charles friend “Tony” on my way to work. “Hello Tony” I greeted and he reciprocated my greetings. “Where have you been” I asked. “I have been in and out of the country”, he said.

Yesterday, I was at a party with Charles and I saw him leave with you, so sorry I wasn’t able to say “Hi”, it was dark and I was tipsy.

Wait a minute, I wasn’t at any party yesterday and Charles didn’t speak to me all day till he made a surprise stop at my house when I returned from work at night. Who was the mysterious girl Tony was talking about, I asked myself.

“Ok take care Tony” I bid goodbye as I continued my journey to work. I was so mad and pained, I wouldn’t stop thinking about who the mysterious girl Charles left the party with was.

Charles came to pick me after work, and I didn’t mention my conversation with Tony earlier to him. On our way home, there was a hold up and Charles got a phone call but refused to pick up. “Why aren’t you picking up” I asked, “It’s not important” he said.

When we finally got home, I was about to open the car door to get off when he locked the doors from the control lock. “Where are you rushing to?” He asked, I told him I wanted to go inside and that I was tired. Baby I miss and want you! I thought about you all day, he said.

“Liar liar” I said in my mind. He stretched his body from his seat to get to mine. He reached for my neck and kissed it. Let me get you relaxed cause I can see you look very tired.

I hated him for lying and cheating but I couldn’t explain why I was still seated in his car. “Sttaaapppppp” I said calmly, but he paid no attention. He reached out to my shirt buttons and unbuttoned them, he moved his lips to my chest and used his teeth to drag my singlet down.

“Do you trust me?” He asked, I said nothing. He said I need an answer baby, I replied saying “I don’t know Charles” still gasping for breath. “I need you to say yes” he commanded as his lips where still at work on my body. I nodded yes but he said “baby I need you to say it”.

As the atmosphere was tensed and I was at the verge of saying “Yes”, his phone rang again and this time I looked to see who it was, and True caller app revealed the name “nnekah”.
